I tried to get her medicine filled at two other pharmacies who just said they didn't carry it and to try another place. This pharmacy did not have the medication either, however, the pharmacist called the hospital to ask the doctor to change it to something comparable. The staff was super friendly. I only waited maybe 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door. If we lived in the area, this would be the pharmacy I would choose to get all my medication filled at!

She greets customers with a smile and has been incredibly helpful with my posters, invitations, and photo projects. Her dedication and positive attitude are truly appreciated. Unfortunately, my recent experience with one of the shift leads, Dee, was very disappointing. Back in February, I had an issue with some photo prints and simply asked if they could be resent so I could make a correction. Instead of helping, she was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Her attitude made the situation unnecessarily stressful and left me feeling disrespected as a customer.i didn't get the help I needed she walks into the office and rolls out a stroller with a baby in it! (When did Walgreens become a daycare center)and had a smirk on her face While I value the great employees like Susana who go above and beyond, experiences like this reflect poorly on the store. After they explain this to me I asked them what the prescriptions will cost as a cash pay. They tell me, I tell them to fill them not caring because my son needs them. They tell me they haven't started filling them because the insurance issue and proceed to tell me I have to go to the back of the line or go in. After asking how long it will be I tell them to just fill them and move forward to go park and go in. After waiting they have lost my insurance card telling me it's my fault because they put them in the box (never opening the box for me to take if they actually did) and I drove off and didn't get them. After calling them back they say they viewed the camera and the girl put them in the box, so it's my fault. So someone out in Hopkinsville has my sons insurance card which is a major violation of the HIPAA ACT/Policy. How can it be my fault when they didn't give me the option to get them or even tell me they put them in there? Also the tech and pharmacist were total disrespectful chewing me out and accusing me of their fault. I would not recommend anyone to go here for anything unless you want to be treated like trash for them making mistakes and your personal information exposed to any and everyone. Unfortunately my child will have to wait next time until our pharmacy is open! By the way they weren't entering the correct information which is why it was being rejected!

Hurst discount drug is a downtown bardstown throwback drug store/diner located across the street…read morefrom the giant roundabout where the bardstown welcome center is in the very popular stretch or strip mall. You walk into what's essentially a throwback small town version of a cvs or Walgreens with some souvenir stuff, snacks and Knick knacks. In the very back they have an active and working pharmacy. In the other corner you have a 50s style throwback diner that pumps out burgers, dogs, root beer floats and ice cream cones all with counter top seating and couple table booths. Me and my family along with our friends family was in Bardstown for a mini day trip. Our party of 9 decided to grab a quick bite as we heard good things about this little diner. We placed our order and set on the counter top stools. We sampled the menu pretty good. Got everything. From burgers, chicken sandwiches , grilled cheese, chili cheese dogs, Ice cream floats, milkshakes and ice cream. Now unfortunately, our fun trip was struck short by a family tragedy. Right as my chili cheese dog and root beer float arrived my wife received a phone call informing her that her father passed away. The patrons and workers here (small place so no hiding anything) took notice of what was Happening and before she could get off the phone they was placing our food in to go boxes and cups and some super generous and gracious woman already paid for our bill and told us to get on our way as soon as possible so my wife could be with her mom and brothers. Everyone here was super kind and despite the devastating news it gave us some solace that there still was genuine good and caring people in this world. Because of this even If the food and pricing here was not good (which it was all very good and cheap from what we got to try) I was giving this place a 5 star. I scarfed my chili cheese dog down in like one bite while running out the door. That one bite was very tasty and my wife took two bites of her burger before the call and she said it was very good. We absolutely will come back. And I know it's a long shot (bardstown is a small town with little yelp representation) but if the lady who sprung into action before we could even think about it reads this we truly thank you (I wish I would of been of present mind to get an address or something to send a thank you card). Also a huge thanks to that staff who moved and acted quickly to get us on our way so we could be with the family. Truly left a lasting and positive impression that we will be eternally grateful for.
