This is my local Walgreens so I come every so often. The photo center is really easy to use on the app and convenient for fast products. The quality is OK. Prices seems to be a little more than Walmart and Target which is right across the street. They do take Fed Ex returns which is really nice. Really only come for fast photo prints & fed ex drop offs. read more

A majority of Walgreens that I have come across are like this one. Stand alone and an oasis in its own parking lot. This one somehow feels even more alone than other locations. Since it sits up on top of a hill that overlooks the main roadway. With the parking lot surrounding it and other businesses not really directly connected it gives the more isolated feel. I will be honest with you, I had driven this road a lot and because of it being up on the hill I had no idea it was there for the longest time. I keep my eye on the road so I had no reason to look up...on a hill...to see the sign. I only came here because I needed a few items that I couldn't find elsewhere. Luckily for me, they had everything else that I needed. I feel like Walgreens set up their stores so that they are a little more user friendly for those that shop there on a whim. It just feels more like a store than other places you go into. read more

I drove past my regular Walgreens to this location because it has a "Healthcare Clinic." I've had bad luck with similar clinics in the past, but all I needed to do was get my annual TB skin test, and Walgreens lets you make appointments, which made them the winner over risking a long wait at MedExpress. Making the appointment online was easy, and a good idea, because it puts you ahead of any walk-ins. The nurse practioners I had for each visit were nice, and the process was efficient. Other than that, the store was clean, seemed to have friendly employees, and there was plenty of parking. I can't think of any other reason to drive out of your way to this particular location, but if you need a TB test or something like that, it's a decent choice. Note: my car GPS doesn't think there's a Magill Drive in North Huntingdon, but if you're coming from Greensburg or 76, it's on your left downhill from Walmart. Easy. read more

This was my first visit to this location and probably my second or third time being in a Walgreens ever. Last night, I was in the area and needed to pick up just a few items. Wal-Mart and Rite Aid both looked packed, so I figured I could get in and out of here quickly. At first glance, the store is clean and well organized. I can't complain about having to look for things, because I've never been in here before. However, I was in search of hand lotion and had trouble finding it. There were no employees on the floor and one cashier up front. Every time I peeked up front, she was either waiting on someone or had her back toward me. In the meantime, I went around picking up some other non-essentials. I found two nail polishes that I liked...they were in a display box with several other of the same brand, all for $1.99. Some were on sale for $.99, but none that I liked. I also found some slipper socks for $1 and bought 3 pair (yeah, last minute Christmas gifts!). While walking around, I finally ran into a pharmacy employee coming out of the back room. I asked her to help me find the hand / body lotion. She took me over to where it was and asked me what exactly I was looking for. I told her that I have really dry, sensitive skin, especially in the winter. She pointed out which brand the pharmacist recommends. Of course, it was the most expensive. Also, I'm not sure a doctor of pharmacology is knowledgeable in dermatology, but I digress. So, with lotion (a cheaper one than suggested), nail polish, socks, and a few other essentials in tow, I made my way to the checkout counter. The cashier was friendly and efficient, no complaints there. However, once I got home, I noticed that I was charged $2.99 for one of the nail polishes. Not cool, but also not worth the trip back to Walgreens to get a dollar back. If it wouldn't have been for the time I spent looking for needed items, this would have been a quick in-and-out stop. I really wanted to give this place 2 stars for 1) the lack of employees / assistance, especially so close to the holidays and 2) the expense of the items. Because, really, I could have gotten everything I needed cheaper at Wal-mart, Rite Aid, or Dollar General. However, due to the friendliness of the two employees I encountered and the cleanliness of the store, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

Every Walgreens I have ever used to fill prescriptions, both in and out if Pennsylvania, have always seemed to have polite, knowledgeable, courteous staff. The store located in North Huntingdon/Irwin, PA is my regular pharmacy, and I have tried using several different local pharmacies over the last few years, by far my Walgreens has been the vest overall, with only the local Target pharmacy and Rite Aid being even comparable. I would have given 5 stars if they offered delivery like a few other local pharmacies, or if they had a 24hr pharmacy, like some if their other locations in larger cities. As far as service goes, they are fast, courteous, informative, and not condescending in any way if you have a concern/question/request. They are always on top of having prescriptions refilled and ready for pickup before I have a chance to go there or call to verify that a refill has been completed. I have never had an issue with them not having my monthly medication in stock when I need it, and they are the only pharmacy that keeps me informed about changes with generic manufacturers, insurance options/changes, progress of PAs and other coverage issues,etc. read more
