If you need the pharmacy, go elsewhere! I've been a patient of Walgreens for MANY years! I'm about ready to go elsewhere. The staff doesn't give a crap about anyone. They all look overweight, depressed and zero enthusiasm whatsoever! They're not at all helpful or friendly. At what point does corporate step in?! Do you wonder why the review rating is so incredibly low?! Hmmm let's think about this one... Without a doubt, a giant chunk of issues stem from Mat the pharmacist. He alone causes many problems and frequent frustrations! I'm sure working for someone like this causes the rest of the staff to match his absolute negative energy. 'Lead by example'. For the record, I would like to also report that the pharmacist, Mathew S, was very abusive to me regarding my RX being filled for a lesser dosage. He ALSO accused me of "doctor shopping" because I have two doctors that I get prescriptions from. One primary and one specialist. I was not able to get the Rx filled, ran out of remaining RX in 3 days and had a seizure as a result of no meds... I was in hospital for 2 days and lost 1 week of work. Matthew was not professional. His job is to dispense, give guidance of proper use, and advice on questions to ask the physician; not ACCUSE. He was also very abusive to a friend in pain with a new and legitimate prescription. My friend had cancer and in excruciating pain and died 10 days later... Matthew S. license should be revoked. Walgreen's had complaints from others about him and he still is employed by them. BEWARE OF HORRIBLE PHARMACIST MATTHEW S. Another lady left a review regarding him at this pharmacy as well as it was spot on. Here is my story. Yesterday, 3-20-23, I called Walgreens to inquire why my rx has been sitting untouched for 6 days with a "pending review " status. I figured they were dealing with insurance because they always do this and never call me to help me they wait until I call to ask them. I called and was put on hold 3 times . I heard the pharmacy associates talking about me while they thought I was on hold... After a while I spoke to the Matthew and he started to ask me if I'm taking other medication because he was seeing something on the computer that interacts with the med I was taking. I told him yes I was but I refused to disclose what it was. He told me that I could either tell him or he can search it in the database. He then asked me why I am using 2 pharmacies . This is when it gets ironic... I stated I do not have to disclose that and it was a personal choice. He then accused me of "doctor shopping" because I have two doctors that I get prescriptions from. Since he is a pharmacist after all, you would think he knows the difference between 2 specialists ( different fields of SPECIALTY) , and that they are used for completely separate medical issues. Neither one of my doctors could possibly prescribe me the necessary medications together because there are TOTALLY different problems and they don't have the authorization to write prescriptions for certain things. The reason I had to use 2 pharmacies ? It's because Matthew decided that about 6 months ago he felt "uncomfortable" filling my rx that I take every day and need in my life . This is after almost a year of filling it at this exact location . I had to find another pharmacy because of this and I was so upset because Due to the fact he denied me right before the weekend I was out of meds and could have had serious complications . Going back to yesterday, after denying to answer many questions of his interrogation he then told me to hold and I spoke to a manager who did nothing. Matthew came back on the line and he told me he can't fill my rx because i won't answer him. So then I gave up some information against my rights to privacy !! Then he asked me if I knew the side effects to which I said yes. He told me to state them out loud for him, ( I have NEVER been treated this way or asked to do something like this). After I replied with a few side effects, he said " yeah , so thats why I won't fill your rx , I don't feel "comfortable" . Just like he told me the time before and the lady in the other review I saw. He is on a power trip 100% and says that no one is above him. **Complaint filed with medical board of pharmacy and corporate . ** I now get my medications both from the same pharmacy and don't have to drive to 2 places Inconveniently. The only reason I stayed with them for the other rx was because it 1 min from my house. I rather drive 5 miles away and not ever be treated this way away. I have zero issues now and my pharmacy is accommodating and have zero problem filling any of my doctor ordered prescriptions . They are prescribed for a REASON. My doctors would not allow it if it was any other way. Do not go to this pharmacy if you want to be treated like a human being who matters . read more

Words are hard to find when you are berated and accosted by an employee for what was seemingly supposed to be a simple Fed-Ex drop off. @Walgreens: watch the camera footage from this location around approximately 12:45. You will see me walk into the store and attempt to return a pair of shoes. This is not what happened and I was accosted and antagonize by one of your employees. She even began to shout and cuss at me with other witnesses and employees around saying nothing. It was so random all I could find myself saying in a calm voice reteadly before Iyelled back was, "I'm trying to leave peacefully," as she continued to yell and cuss at me. This needs to be addressed. I started with: 1-855-772-0078, then 1-800-825-5467 (which is the employee line), so settled on 1-800-925-4733 with Rashida from Consumer Relations who filed complaint case #18368220 for harassment. Do not use this pharmacy for prescriptions. The pharmacy manager, Matthew S. is the worst, most egotistical, power hungry individual I've ever come across in my 64 years. I live in Fl for 6 months of the year and until recently resided in PA for the remainder of the year (for 13 yrs.) Last year we bought a home in MA and now spend part of the yr. there. I loved my doc in PA-She has seen me through breast cancer etc. I still fly there to see her for my annual physical and care. I brought a written prescription from her for Ambien to be filled by Mr. S and he made feel like a criminal, telling me to sit while he verified it was legit. He call the doc who is employed by the University of Pittsburgh and is board certified( which the script indicated) and returned to tell me yes it's "legit" but I am not comfortable filling it. You need a local doctor..Who is he to tell me what doc I see?!!! Then he looked and said I see you've had this filled at Publix in the past why not go there.( I'll bet Walgreens corporate would love hearing that he tells customers to go to the competition!) I told him there are no Publix in the north when we are there in the summer and it's easier to transfer scrips within Walgreen locations because they're everywhere. He was nasty. I took the prescription to another location and had no problem, clearly just him on a power trip. I called in a re-fill recently again to this location(big mistake) from a LOCAL doc and guess what he has now put a policy in place where certain prescriptions cannot be refilled sooner than 24 hours from the re-fill date. Mine was due for a refill at 90 days, but looking at the date of the original fill of 11/2/22, I was told it couldn't be filled again until 2/1/23, that's actually 92 days, due to 31 days in Dec, and 31 in Jan...so I was out of the drug and being denied a legitimate refill, which is probably illegal. If this were a critical drug he could be causing harm. This is his personal policy, not Walgreens. I am reporting him to the FL pharmacy board and Walgreens corporate. He is terrible! His staff is wonderful and was very apologetic recognizing that it wasn't right, but they couldn't do anything. Take my advice DO NOT use this pharmacy, nothing but a hassle. read more

I have been trying for six months to get the pharmacy to do a "one stop" program for my dad and his significant other. They are both elderly and take 20 different medications. And it's very difficult to have to keep going up there 4 -5 times a month. They keep telling me they will get them all together and ready to pick up each month on the same day and it's just not happening. This Walgreens is always staffed adequately and very clean. The staff is friendly with extra kudos to Tracey in the pharmacy. She's knowledgable, professional, and diligent in her duties. I have been using this store for 4 yrs. Now the management and staff are different and complacent, lazy, and unacknowledged. They have no attentiveness are understanding about the rewards program, coupon redeeming, and make it inconvenient and uncomfortable to use. I decided its too much trouble for me anymore.
