Walgreens has been our family (and extended family) go-to pharmacy for as long as I can remember (30+ years) . Sad to say, the inability to get prescriptions in a timely fashion, the off-site filling of those prescriptions in ridiculously large containers, the inaccuracies of the app, the often inaccurate emails/texts regarding status, along with the high turnover in staff, has made even me realize it is time to change pharmacies. The pharmacists are good but they barely make up for the other rude and hostile employees in this store. I have actually had two of them yell at me and make nasty comments. I have visited the Walgreens on 127th in Ridgeland . If you guys are ever in need of helpful advice in the beauty consultant area please ask for Nadeen Abuyameen. I met her little less than 2 months ago . Everything she suggested for me was right on key, to mascaras , Foundation color , eyebrow makeup and helpful tips to keep my makeup staying on long and fresh. Super nice young lady!!!! read more

This Walgreens is the ABSOLUTE worst!! The employees apparently all ride in together, on the short bus. Ridiculously dense group of associates, from the manager(Tom) down! WoW... it's truly amazing that one store can employ so many incompetent, careless, clueless people, who consistently screw things up!! WAKE UP people!! I absolutely love the Pharmacist Eric. He is beyond wonderful. He is so helpful . The pharmacist tech Jessica is the most miserable human I ever met. She needs to not work in customer service. She is also sooo judgmental to people who have chronic illnesses. People who go to the pharmacist need people who are supportive and nice, we don't need mean, unhelpful people read more

I called the Walgreen's to get a Shingles vaccination and was told that a Prescription from my doctor was required because I'm under 50 years old. I got the Rx and not only did they refuse my self pay request for the shot, they told me that they don't give shots to people under 50 "Company Policy". I politely asked the pharmacist to call their wellness clinic because they told me about the under 50 years old prescription and he refused. I went directly to Jewel/Osco pharmacy and they gave me the shot! This was the most horrible customer service at Walgreens and I'm extremely put off by their lack of willingness to make the call to verify that they could give me the shingles vaccine. #walgreenshorriblecustomerservice. #walgreenslostcustomer read more

Had to switch from Target to Walgreens because of our insurance. I called two days before my pills ran out for a refill and was told to call back to talk to a rep. which I did. I was told by Walgreens that they have to contact my doctor and will let me know. Two days later I called them again and was told that the doctor has not approved it yet. I called the doctor and they insured me that they approved it and the nurse would call them right away. One hr. later I got a text that my prescription is ready for pick up. I drive up to the window and was told that I have to pay full price because my insurance changed my meds to mail order and if I want the medication I will have to pay full price. I left and called the insurance complaining to them but was told that Walgreens never submitted a claim and that it is not true and that none of my prescriptions are mail order. the insurance agent asked me what they wanted to charge me for the medication and told me that their price was more than the retail price. She decremented to look for another pharmacy, which I did. read more
