I was admonished once again by an employee while picking up my prescriptions today on my electric bike while in the empty drive through lane. I asked the lady where are the signs saying that bikes, electric or otherwise (I assume they let motorcyclists through) are not allowed in the drive through? She had no answer, nor did she have an answer for all of the times I have picked up my meds on my bike before and was told that there was no policy against picking up at the drive through on my electric bike. Walk into this location many time and not once felt as though I was a stranger but this morning Sunday 10/22/23 I was mocked for whatever these two employees thought was funny at my expense. I looked over twice and both employees looked at me and continued as if I wasn't there. Really Walgreens, you can't find more mature individuals to work in your stores? One was a short blonde haired girl, a new employee cause like I said I'd been in there at all hours and had never seen her before. The other person seemed to be a manager in charge, when Ist got to this location, he was outside smoking, when I got inside he went directly to the blonde and that's when the mocking began and never let up even as I looked at them. With the current road work on Thomas Road, it's a bit hard to get in. I give this Walgreens five stars truly because of the super nice and helpful employees. They always greet me and always joke around and seem happy. The store is pretty clean and everything looks tidy. Also they have an online feature where you can order your photos online and pick them up in an hour or so. I've used this before and was happy with the results and the price. One more thing, I always look for the ORANGE tag, that means the item price is greatly reduced, sometimes even cut down to 75% off! You really have to seek these out though, it's totally random. read more

Was just trying to get a money order. Either poor management for not keeping up with that or uninformed staff, which also leads to poor management. read more

I thought having my prescriptions filled at Walgreens meant a reliable source for my meds. The Walgreens at 56th St and Thomas sure doesn't fit the bill. They've messed up my regular prescriptions a number of times but of most concern now is my doctor called in prescriptions for meds for pneumonia-and the darn pharmacy is closed!!! Not just after hours. It's apparently permanently. Maybe I need to let Medicare/Health Advantage know that their preferred pharmacy is nonfunctional. read more

We moved into the neighbourhood and this Walgreens is just down the street. Sent a couple of our scripts here and have been using the drive through. - we've always been helped very quickly and been treated well. Today I went to pick up our scripts with my dog in the car and the employee produced the scripts with a little dog bone! It's a small thing to do but really sweet nonetheless. read more

Hi, my name is Alicia and I have a migraine. In fact, I've had one for 7 straight days. My wonderful doctor just wrote me two prescriptions so I can kick the pain in the pants. Groovy. Prescription Drop-Off = No problem. 15 minute wait? I can swing that. What's another tick, tick, tick of the clock as my head throb, throb, throbs. I mosey around the aisles. Nice. Latex gloves on sale - 3 boxes for $10. Oh, look, espresso chocolate. Tick, tick, tick. 45 minutes later without my name called over the loudspeaker (bummer), I head to the Pick-Up. I'm anxious for my meds. It's been a long day anyway, and this is the final stop. Or so I thought. I take a seat and stare at the floor. After all, the overhead lights hurt my eyes. I glance up and the pharmacist smiles at me. That's pleasant. I continue to wait. "What's the name?" I answer her. That's when I hear they have 3/4 of my prescription ready but that one drug (my drug of choice to tackle the migraine) is out of stock. Would it be okay if I waited until Monday? Uhmmm... My mind flashes back to another Walgreens on another day when I'm waiting - in agony, mind you, after oral surgery. I want my narcotics like the children of rock wanted their MTV. I was told they were out, and I'd have to wait... or take my carcass to another pharmacy. I opted for the latter, for the claw marks in my palms were evidence enough that I couldn't stomach this pain any longer. So, needless to say, when I was told by this particular Walgreens that they were out of my gonna-make-your-boo boo-all-better meds, I had an emotional hiccup. WHAT? Count up the minutes. One hour in this stinkin' Walgreens and I'm really no better off than when my peds walked through the front door. Double ugh. Why couldn't they have called my name over the loudspeaker like they said they would? Then I wouldn't have waited in vain. Stupid pharmacy. I want my drugs! read more

This pharmacy is horrible. When you can actually get thru on the phone no one provides their name and when ask for their name they refuse. Also yesterday Dec 3 and I was on hold for 2 hours and someone picked up and then hung up. I called back today Dec 4th and was on hold for 45 mins and again someone picked up and hung. I like Walgreens overall. I've used them in AZ, CO, PA and FL, and until I started using this one, never had a problem. However, in the 9 months I've been here, this one has proven itself more inept than all the other pharmacies I've used in my life...combined. They've lost prescriptions, entered quantity and refill numbers wrong, had their automated system call me saying I had something to pick up when I didn't and not call me when my pills WERE ready (I mentioned this to the pharmacist -- his answer? "It's a multi-million dollar system, so there are bound to be some errors"). They haven't known the answers to some questions, have sent me on a merry chase, have charged me for three nuva-rings when they only gave me one...need I go on? As soon as this last prescription they've messed up (without telling me) that I'm waiting for comes in, I'll be switching pharmacies. I should have done it months ago. Ugh. read more

I live close by so Peekaboo and I walk to this Walgreens a few times a week. There's a Redbox inside with our name on it. I like to take advantage of the clothing sales like the $1 multi-colored tank tops. Peekaboo likes the pet aisle, especially the doggie treats. I haven't had any negative experiences here. The pharmacist has been helpful, they allow Peekaboo inside in a cart or my arms, and I always find what I need so I give this Walgreens 4 stars. read more

I just ordered photos from this wall greens and went in to pay for them. Tried to use the 50% off coupon and was told absolutely not. You have to use it at the time you put in the order! I'm not sure if I talk to the manager but I said they did it for me a few months ago and he just said no and walked away. So rude! If I had to give a star it would only be one. These characters that call themselves pharmacist and and pharmacy techs are the worst people. They are without compassion and care for the people that come in sick. They are discriminating against people who are on Medicaid especially if you are young and your on Medicaid or access. I have never seen a group of people including the store manager who does not back the customer even if you remain calm and try to be congenial they still are not helpful and demeaning. One pharmacist in particular I am having to report to the pharmacy board for his actions. Avoid this Pharmacy like the plague. I spent 15 years as an RN and I can tell you, if I treated anyone half as bad as they treated the people that I've seen and my self I would have been fired. Let me be clear the non Pharmacy staff excluding the manager are they're are super nice and great people very helpful. If you must go because of the location I recommend audio taping every conversation with the pharmacist!!! read more

Went here to purchase an item for a price listed online. They then refused to honor this price since their in store price was higher, at which point I ordered the same item for pickup at that location with the online price. I am writing this review in the twenty minutes of my time that they wasted because a manager couldn't type in his override code as the same clerk walks to the aisle to pick up the same item I tried to check out with. This is a nice little store. It is conveniently located, and I've been known to run in when I realize I gave guests comming, and no drinks.

Clean environment. Friendly staff. Always being asked if I found everything okay and welcomed as soon as I walk into the store.

Me and my boyfriend shop here all of the time. Usually have great customer service except today...our cashier Katina was very nice..deserves recignition...there was another lady on the other hand who was very rude to us. We had purchased 2 12 packs of Pabst beer, which are usually on sale for $6.99. There was a sign posted which said $6.99..they rang up regular price. The rude lady stated that she would not change it because the sign was wrong and should have been taken down. (She saId this very rudely) Ummm excuse me...we believe people should honor the price that's up..it was their mistake not ours. The cashier Katina was sweet enough to call the manager up to refund us the difference. read more

Worst Pharmacy I have dealt with. The script was a narcotic and they needed special authorization for the medicine from the doctor (even with the script). I let them know right away that I was trying to get to the airport and was in a bit of a hurry. An HOUR later I left without my script. They just needed a fax - that apparently my doc shows was faxed back to them within the hour that I was there. WHAT is wrong with that pharmacist. I was the only person in the waiting area and in a hurry. WHY wouldn't they get on the phone with the doc and stand by the fax machine to make sure I was being taken care of??? why why.....WTF. The customer service was beyond poor - no sense of urgency - and a drug I needed before leaving the state for the weekend. I HOPE KARMA BITES her in the ass. read more

So it sounds weird to love a Walgreens, but this location is set up in a way that makes me partial to it compared to other locations. Their wine section is absolutely amazing and has fun new labels at great prices & often has awesome specials. They also have a great selection of liquor like Pinnacle Vodka (whipped cream flavors) etc. read more

I typically love this Walgreens. BUT they continuously let me down when it comes to hours... Just letting everyone know they are NOT open 24 hours like the app says... They are NOT open until 10:00 pm (ever) like Yelp and Google says... But they make their own hours. Closing at 6:00 and 9:00?! That is unreal. Barely time to get off work for some people.
