A great large Fry's. Here to look for bottles of sparkling water. Today I had good luck finding a good supply of water. It was located in a shelf I could reach so even happier. At my local Fry's the sparkling water is located in the very top shelf. I always have to find a staff member to get some for me. Their floral section is really well stocked and smells are wonderful. Normal Fry's store. Pretty easy to find what I wanted. The reason it got so low is they have a cashier that plays harmonica while working. He whips out his mouth harp and plays, thus putting his hands next to his mouth and getting spit all over them than touches your groceries including your produce. I shop here because it's close and good prices. The click and collect feature is great but hate that the team members automatically stand in the back of my car wanting to put the groceries in my trunk. Also, didn't appreciate being screamed at from a cashier for putting my reusable bags on the conveyer built. As a corporation, Kroger beats up its vendors regarding sustainability yet the front end team throws that out the window. Very contradictory. read more

I had a pick up order scheduled for 2 PM and as I was pulling in, a lady from Fry's called to tell me my order wasn't gonna be ready for at least seven more hours, this actually happened two weeks prior and so I decided to ask to speak to the manager because I only had about 15 items and this was just unacceptable twice in a row especially being in the parking lot. Julie the manager got on the phone and was super nice and she stopped what she was doing to get the groceries herself as they were understaffed and came out to my car and she was super nice and apologetic. I appreciate the above and beyond customer service in a what began as a frustrating situation. read more

Two employees of @FrysFoodStores in Scottsdale AZ owned by @kroger created the worst customer experience I've ever endured. While one acted highly irritated the other became confrontational over a simple customer service issue. I chose to leave the store and shop elsewhere. Since there was more than one employee involved I can only assume that their bad behavior is a fair representation of Kroger/Fry's current attitude versus customers. The question is what went well? I have to tell you everything! And I mean everything! Lisa and the parking lot getting carts was so helpful! All the way through produce walking in the meat department was just amazing! MICHELLE the manager was all over it walking the store. I must've been here about 45 minutes total time, but she was busy. Asking questions talking to customers with a smile on her face! There was even another woman there who goes to different fries stores her name was Rebecca amazingly helpful as well to check out my, cashier thousand percent helpful! Mark back my groceries so pleasant everybody was just like it was just a festival and the grocery store! I live in Surprise. It just happened to walk in the store and do some shopping before I head back home. I will definitely be coming back! This store rocks the people here deserve a raise!!!! read more

I have just finished the most frustrating experience with any grocery store. Frys Foods at 90th & Via Linda are the culprits. I placed an order at 2:00 to be picked up by 5:00. At about 5:30 I got the first message that they were ":running late", at 6:30 my son was still looking for someone in the store to cancel order. The order was finally cancelled! and needless to say I will NEVER place another order with Frys. I usually use Sprouts, but thought I would try Frys. Needless to say I will continue at Sprouts. People used to say that "the customer is always right". I think this concept has died. I arrived at the Fry's Deli department and was pleasantly surprised that there was no line. Usually there is one since the staff is slower than molasses. My record is waiting 25 minutes for one pound of american cheese. Today, arriving to find no one waiting at the deli, I was elated. I said "Hello" which I say to get the attention of deli staff. After my Hello, the woman behind the counter (with a good hairnet), picked up a broom and started sweeping. She went to the back sweeping.... sweeping in the front.... sweeping in the back again. I tried to make eye contact but she still continued to sweep. After she had me waiting enough time to satisfy her, she asked if she could help me. I gave her my order, received it and then walked away. I didn't tell her that it was rude to keep a customer waiting when there are no other customers or that customers come first before sweeping; once the customer leaves, you can do the sweeping. This deli has always been problematic as the training doesn't seem to focus on making customers feel valued or on making as many sales as possible. I am 100 per cent sure that if this woman behind that counter would have owned the deli, she would have dropped the broom dance and asked" Hello, How many I help you today?" Not happening any time. Visited this store yesterday 10/11/2023 around 4 pm. Came here to buy some fish. Imagine my surprise that the entire fish department was closed. All the fish had been removed from the cases and the cases were empty. Not sure what was going on, but it was an inconvenience. Also, apparently Fry's doesn't carry Folgers 1850 Black Gold K-cups. Will have to look elsewhere for them. Finally, they don't carry Skinny Girl Sesame Ginger dressing. They carry several other Skinny Girl dressings. Just not the Sesame Ginger. "Always Fresh"--not so much! 3 Days before Christmas, red potatoes only available in multiple pound bags, no individual potatoes available, White potatoes (Yukons), none available. Artichokes, only 2 available and each was at least 1 week old on display, soft and squishy-$2.99 for stale artichokes-nah, not me. Fortunately Safeway only a short drive on the way home, was able to score each item there, FRESH ! And what is worse than this, I comment on their website, on the myfrys.com website, stating the same, and what do I get back?-bupkus, as in nothing! Hopefully the merger with Safeway is blocked by the government, and ya, I do not like government interfering with free enterprise, but in this case, it would be a good move. The Fry's online coupon system and accuracy at check out is terrible, rarely accurate.. Safeway is very good. If I could give zero stars, I would. I was in this specific Fry's location this afternoon, just briefly before my phone was stolen out of the grocery store. The older woman who was working at customer service (whom is also the manager), was extremely rude, unhelpful, annoyed, non empathetic, and while I was in full blown tears and devastation, she proceeded to treat us as if we were inconveniencing HER to get any kind of help locating my phone. Not only did we feel completely brushed off, but she also refused to look at any of the stores video tapes, and claimed that "they had none in the store that were accessible". Like, are you kidding? I'm not an idiot. Every large corporate store has a loss prevention team.. Especially a Kroger owned company, and she was very weirdly adamant about not looking and/or asking a fellow associate to help us view any kind of surveillance cameras. The police have been contacted, but I will never shop here again due to their poor customer service, and overall just awful experience. It is very apparent that they do not care about their customers, or people returning to shop. read more

Love this Fry's Signature location, my favorite I've been to. Their Murray's cheese section is the best. I find their produce section is a lot fresher than other locations, so another must when you visit this location. The breads are super fresh, which is always good when you're picking up a little something to do a cheese platter for your visitors. The staff are incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with which is a nice plus. Parking is decent and the location and proximity to other stores are good especially when you are running errands. read more

Because I just got out of the hospital I signed up for Booost a delivery service via instacart. Yesterdays order was delivered with 1 item missing, 1 item was a bunch and only 1 was delivered and buy 1 get 1 free they delivered only 1 not the free one. Calling Kroger and Fry's was a hour ordeal. Did get a nice refund but in order to get the items I need is less than $35 so would be a 6.99 delivery charge. The shopper needs to be much more careful to get exactly what was order or to substitute with approval. read more

I came here Wednesday evening with my bf to pick up some desserts (lemon bites and cinnamon cream cheese coffee cake bites) from the bakery and Kahlua for a dessert coffee night cap after going out to dinner. The store is always clean with great help all around! Joey helped check us out at you-scan in all his holiday spirit. Once we strolled our cart outside to our car another young gentleman, Deven, I believe followed to take our cart right away. Awesome store, awesome people and awesome prices. Fry's is one of the Kroger brand stores and it is clearly their best. Every so often, we will pick up a few bottles of wine and grab one of those ecological friendly bags. I took the time recently and noticed that they have printed all the Kroger stores on it's side. Clearly someone in Kroger HQ was thinking beyond their area. Realizing, that having one bag for all their stores, would save money and promote brand awareness. Well, it did. Turkey Hill, Smith's, Ralph's, QFC, Fred Meyer, Payless, City Market and Fry's. These are all of the Kroger stores we've been lucky to shop in over several relocations, and they're all very good individually. Fry's and this store in particular, seems to be the best! In the short five years we've been in Arizona, this store has had several updates. The books and magazine area was updated four years ago and then again recently. Same thing for the convenience food. Three times in five years. Now, they have a wine tasting, sushi maker on hand, bar area -- which is always packed! At least a dozen shoppers watching a flat screen TV, drinking wine and eating some personally made sushi and pot stickers. WOW! This would all be a sidebar, if their prices weren't competitive. And how do I know their competitive? Because mammoth Walmarts is now airing TV commercials against Fry's and saying theirs prices are lower. Incredible! Who ever heard of Walmarts airing commercial against one competitor! One competitor. Think about it for a moment. As our YCM Lindsey F wrote fourteen months ago: "Holy grocery store! I don't even know if the term grocery store can be applied to this Fry's. Imagine Target, Costco, AJ's, Fry's, Walgreens and Whole Foods all piled into one overwhelming massive store." Our family agrees and we haven't even mentioned their $0.10 off a gallon of gas/diesel tie-in with Circle K or Shell. So, why shop anywhere else? A shout-out to Jeff in Bakery, Donnie in Checkout and Gloria in Deli. They are friendly, helpful and willing to go out of their way to get you whatever you want! I'm big on fitness and nutrition. As such, I believe in buying the best food that is available. During my stay in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, I found this grocery store across the street from my hotel. The first thing I noticed as I was perusing the store was the wide variety of wine and hard liquor in stock. They have a small lounge with sliding glass doors you where you can take your time and pick your drink for the night. You get your pick from mid-range to pricier bottles. They also have a kosher section, which is a plus for me because I keep kosher (most of the time). I picked up some fruit: mangoes and pineapples. Whenever I am out of town, I eat out a lot, so I need some healthy food to round out my diet. I also got two gallons of water, because I will not drink the tap from the hotel. I found no problems with the service nor the crowd here. Friendly, efficient, and of good stock. read more

First, what I like about Frys is the large variety of groceries. However, the management seems lacking. I had a complaint about the pharmacy and I brought it to the manager and she was no help. I ordered an unusual medicine that required a special order and on Friday I was told it would be available on Monday or Tuesday. Today, Wednesday, I was told the warehouse does not have it and they will not order it. Why not tell me that on Friday or Sunday when I followed up? I spoke to a manager who was not concerned and just voiced what the pharmacist said. She then left me to help another customer. I returned and was ignored. This store is undergoing a remodel to elevate it to a marketplace. Plenty of tourists also roam this location during the spring. The salad bar is hit and miss depending on who is filling it with fresh items. Not a bad location and store once the upgrade is complete. read more

It takes more time to check out than to shop. I was looking for a specific item and talked to three different employees and would help. The first one sent me on a wild goose chase. The second one pointed out a similar product that was not what I was looking for. The last one was a manager name Mike and he just looked like I was crazy and didn't help at all. I basically live at this fry's weekly usually have a great experience. Tonight popped into get a salad from the salad bar. Went to put ranch on the salad found an empty container. Walked over to the area where the employee told me to cooked food area and waited, and waited with empty ranch bottle in hand. The employee clearly saw me, and waited and waited finally she says can I help you. I says yes can I have a new bottle Of ranch. To which she replies. We ran out this morning. Wait. YOU ran out of ranch, wait this morning??? Fry's I'm never one to bring a problem without a solution. ISLE 4 is your solution. Just steps away YES an entire section of ranch bottles just waiting to be smothered on a delicious salad and boom happy customers. The second star was for Joey making my day with his harmonica! This pharmacy has had its growing pain over the years, which is tolerable. However, for the last year or so they have retained the absolute WORST employee I've encountered in any industry. Cristina is the most rude, condescending, impatient, unkind, down right mean person - to everyone! It's so stressful to just go pick up prescriptions. You can't speak to a manager of the store or the pharmacy, so Yelp it is. I think it's time to make a change. read more

The cashier didn't even know how to redeem a credit I'd been given by the store.... told me I had to call the number myself; wouldn't take the credit, and refused to call a supervisor to help. The bag packers throw everything together, despite me taking care to line up frozen, cans, etc. Your employee training is seriously lacking.
