This is a Walgreen's that 10 minutes from our house so it's our obvious choice with location! We come here for any prescriptions that we may have & the drive through line always moves quickly, in the evening there's hardly ever a line. We also come here for our cases of wine versus having it delivered to the house because it'll be held for 5 days. Mediocre customer service. Walgreens as a whole is a mess. I've used paperless receipts for years. Well apparently the system is flawed. Tried to do a return and the system did not show any of my purchases. Of course I don't have a paper receipt because I do paperless receipts. It was less than $20, no reason why they shouldn't have given me cash back. Manager didn't apologize or even attempt to show any empathy. It could have make the situation so much better. read more

We recently changed our health insurance and can only use a Walgreens pharmacy. We previously used 2 other pharmacies and were having horrible issues with both of them from being short staffed, not having the medications and really lacking on giving a crap. Here though we have gotten our medications pretty quickly, the staff are very helpful, I have even received phone calls from the staff making sure I was doing ok with the new medication I had recently started which I haven't gotten that from any other pharmacy. It's been a great change and I hope it stays this way. read more

Some of the staff is just lazy that's the o my way for me to digest some of their behaviors. I called with questions about passport photo immediately the girl who answered the phone decided to transfer the call to photos. So what ends up happening is that no one in photos ever answered and the phone kicks back to the front to which they no longer answered and you end up hanging up. Like you close at 1pm the least you could do is talk to the customer who could came in and held some shit up past closing instead. Ugh if the person who knows about it wasn't there why wouldn't you just say that? Why? Walgreens needs to zero back to some training when it comes to customers and service and hell the photo department if we are all awarded the luxury of choose Walgreens for all of our photos and passport photos needs. PHARMACY!!! WISH THEY HAD A -0 RATING!!! Every time i have to deal with this pharmacy, there is ALWAYS an issue. It seems as if there is no compassion from the pharmacy team when it comes to the people of the community. I go to this pharmacy monthly, and not cause I want to, but because I have to! I get a prescription monthly that you cannot just transfer to another pharmacy on a whim due to state regulations, which i get. Just seems like the staff has no desire to get narcotic prescriptions filled timley. I dont think they understand that, when you see the same script come thru every month, you should know by working in a PHARMACY that the side effects of not having specific medication can be life threatening and can put you in the hospital, which has happened to me due to this very reason. All because 'THE PERSON WHO HAS THE KEYS TO THE SAFE DOES NOT COME IN UNTIL 12P'. Then due to not starting the filling processed for these 'specific' medications until 12p there is now a backlog of scripts. SO LET ME BREAK THIS DOWN. Im seen by my doctor every 29 days and my script is for 28days. This means that the day of my appointment I have absolutley no medication until the pharmacy fills it. So me trying to think productively i schedule my appointment for before the pharmacy opens at 9a, so the script is there before they even come in. I get a text notification it will be ready in about 1-2 hours and it says the same on the app. 1-2 Hours rolls around and there is no update, so i call cause im now 10-12 hours without medication and im starting to feel sick aka withdrawl. I am told when I call 'THE PERSON WHO HAS THE KEY DOES NOT COME IN UNTIL 12P AND WE DONT START FILLING UNTIL THEN FOR NARCOTICS". I tell them the sick and im told by the rep on the other end with a attitude and very rude voice "THE...PERSON... WITH... THE KEYS... DOES NOT... COME IN UNTIL 12P". then im told that maybe i should have my dr send in the script the day before or a couple days before so they have it and they can get it done maybe the day before i run out. so the next month i try this and the dr sends it in a day early to be filled. so i call the day early and im told "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE SOME AS YOU SHOULD NOT BE OUT UNTIL TOMORROW SO WE WILL HAVE IT FILLED BY LATER TODAY BUT MOST LIKELY TOMORROW"... Now im in the same position i was in before. Oh and in case your wondering why i dont change pharmacy if this one is causing me problems.... well i tried that several times and im told that they dont have my quantity or what they have at another location is reserved for another person, or they are maxed out on ordering narcotics so they cannot take new patients or order any more meds. So being that i have been at this location they pre order my medication and have it by the time my doctor sends in the prescription, but all because they cannot schedule someone in earlier with a key for the safe, i have ended up in the ER twice and had to pay for that, and i have tried to save some medication so im not out but the pain and issues i have its not feesable. ONLY IF ONLY THEY COULD FIX THE DAMN SCHEDULE I WOULDNT HAVE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW AND I WOULD NOT HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF HOSPITAL BILLS JUST TO BE LOOKED AT LIKE A JUNKY IN THE ER CAUSE IM EXPLAINING TO THEM WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THE PHARMACY. The Store was clean, The cashier was nice, and that what the 2 stars are for. I went to Walgreens to get deodorant that I seen on add on the app and i chose the option that says "IN STORE" So that I know I'm looking at the right price. It wasn't a HUGE difference but if I used my $3 in points it was a real good deal because my deodorant is usually over $6. So the add said it was $5.99, i chose the right one, the right size/oz. and it rang up at $6.29 i told the cashier and she called the manager and i showed the manager the app and that it shows that it's the store price for "THIS SPECIFIC STORE" so everything was good. She says sorry it's $6.29, that's wrong. I just paid and left. I wasn't gonna argue for it. I'd rather come on here and let you all know that if your ads don't match... don't expect much from management to honor any of it. I have started going to this pharmacy recently and for all my visits so far, the male pharmacist (Michael Holmes) has always been super friendly and extremely helpful! He always have ones best interest at heart and I am not exaggerating! We've had some issues and he never shy away from offering his help in getting things resolved. He has patience and always show willingness to help. He is so knowledgeable and gives expert advice. I can't thank this pharmacist enough. If I could give NO stars, I would! This Walgreens Pharmacy is a poor excuse for a pharmacy. Dr. Obinna Anuda is HORRIBLE, disrespectful and rude. My sons' prescriptions were sent over at 2 PM and by 8 PM still were not filled and I was told by "Dr. Obi" that they wouldn't send the Rx over to Fry's (THAT ENDED UP FILLING THE RX IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES!) By far the worst Walgreens I have ever been to in my life! They are always low in stock on items! The staff is not friendly. And the pharmacy, what a disgrace! Talk about a way to make the company look bad. They are the worst of the employees. They have messed up my medication dosages so many times that now, I go home to check if I have the exact amount! They never order my medication on time. When I call and they can't pick up they let the line ring or they answer and say hold and don't even say please or wait for your response and put you on hold for 10-20 minutes. I once tested this to see how long I would be put on hold by the time I make it to their pharmacy... when I got there, they had one car ahead of me and no one in the store. Once I got to the drive through window, I saw there were several employees talking and the only person working was the pharmacist. AND they still didn't answer the phone. Total of 25 minutes. There's a Hispanic male pharmacist who has no social skills and I swear is the one who messes up my prescriptions every time! I am at the point where now, I'm taking my business to CVS! The corporate offices need to look into this location and getting them some serious help on length of service and customer service skills! read more

This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever seen; go elsewhere. They have screwed up my meds 2x, and I couldn't get an essential medication after I called it in 3 days in advance. It took 6 days to get meds that I really needed". That was the last straw and I'm switching my pharmacy. The pharmacist, I believe his name was Armando, just gave me a bunch of BS "AGAIN" as to why they didn't call it in after I received 2 confirmations contradicting that statement. This week, I had to wait 45 minutes just to pick up my husband's prescription, and I was only one car back in the drive-thru. I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Walgreens! From age 18, (I'll be 34 this year) Walgreens has been taking care of my pharmaceutical needs. From the anti-seizure medication they so lovingly dispensed to the 24/hr medical needs of my daughter on that ill-fated hospital visit. However, I refuse to frequent your business any longer. After waiting over 25+ minutes in the drive through at your 83rd Ave and Lower Buckeye location in Tolleson, Arizona, I was told my request for a refill had not gone through on your side and it would be about 10 minutes for them to fill it quickly. I had no problem waiting, your pharmacist did. He argued that I couldn't hold the line up for 10 minutes (even though the two previous cars took 20+ to do their business). I explained that I had food, my laptop, and kids in the car (for 25+ minutes in Arizona heat...yay!) and that was why I did the drive through. Then he said I could pull around and get in line again...behind 3 cars (or 4). I then said that since it took close to a half hour to get this far, I would wait. I mean, really? Who wants to possibly wait an hour for meds? Oh, that right! Me! My longest wait time at this location was 47 minutes. But since it's the closest to my home, I deal with the wait. Well, until the pharmacist dropped this bomb on me: Ma'am, if you refuse to go to the end of the line or come in, I'll have to call the police. Really? Are you serious? A technical glitch on your end prevents you from receiving my refill and you threaten me with the police? I patiently wait almost every month for 30+ minutes to receive my medication and you threaten to call the police on me? You have to be kidding. Nope. He wasn't kidding. So instead of completing the order he claimed would take 10 minutes, the pharmacist argued with me for upwards of 5 minutes while the two pharmacy techs stood there staring at my incredulous face. Thanks. No matter how many minutes of my life you wasted in the past, I was never rude, short, or mean. I joked about the wait and dealt with it. I sarcastically tweeted about it and then let it go. No more, Walgreens. This is too much. To be told the police will be called because I wanted to wait like the two cars in front of me waited is just too much. read more

This pharmacy is my favorite of all 4 within driving distance. My entire family fills prescriptions here, never had a bad service experience for over 7 years here and I know the staff well, they are really pleasant folks there, working hard to make sure we get our drugs as it should be intended properly, I have had to wait to have either Dr Mike or Dr Obi get hold of my physician's office if they see something wrong, once they averted a bad side effect from happening to me and they always answer my questions to my satisfaction, and if the doctor prescribes a really expensive drug, they call to get it changed to one my wallet can pay for and if they run out of stock because so many of us take the same drug, they find a close walgreen's nearby for me to go to, I let them even get it for me if they can if the other shop is too far. By the way, waiting is common for all businesses, no matter where I go, even at a fast food drive thru, sometimes you're lucky and there are times you have to wait. But you know it is a pharmacy, rather the professionals take their time to get it right like they do at my physician's office than get it wrong, where I also wait to be seen just as well, some times a long wait, other times we are lucky and it is a short wait, gosh I waited once at Phx Children's for 6 hrs and as it got to our turn, the doctors had to take a break, so we waited some more. Maybe one or two of the staff need some coaching on how to be pleasant, but these days, we all do need to be a bit more pleasant, We as customers demand high heaven and all believe the mighty dollar entitles us, yeah maybe, but am not about to rush someone to make a mistake on my medication, am entitled to good safe medications no matter how long it takes, just trying to live long here. A simple approach I do, no matter where I am, is to be nice to the people and I get great response back, try it next time and see how it works out for you. read more

This Walgreens Pharmacy has the slowest service ever. It literally took my fiancé 40 minutes just to DROP off a prescription on a Thursday night. You can stand in line or go to the drive thru pharmacy and wait forever before they acknowledge that you're there. It took them TWO weeks to get my medication in stock and when I finally went to go pick it up after I got a call/email, they said they didn't have it and I had to wait an extra day. I'm seriously considering switching my prescription over to the Fry's across the road. I've always used Walgreens and it was never this bad. read more
