Should you dare to call them because you are out of your meds for diabetes or your spouse just had surgery and needs post op meds, be prepared for "We apologize for the delay and will be with you shortly. There are AT LEAST THREE CALLERS AHEAD OF YOU!" Prepare to listen to this recording for 45 to 90 minutes before realizing that they have no intention of answering. I arrived at the PRINEVILLE Walgreens today to pick up a prescription for my mother that had been sent to the store by the care provider on 7/31. Closed for lunch. Ran some errands, arrived back at the drive thru. Prescription wasn't ready because there should have been enough from the previous refill to last through...... TODAY. "Would you like me to submit that to be filled?" was the response I was given. Not ONE time have I ever been able to pull in and pick up a prescription without getting some excuse about why it isn't ready! My mother is 93 yo and on a limited income. She's locked into the pharmacy that her insurance mandates. If I could make it happen, I would NEVER use this pharmacy again! read more

New to some now, appointments are an efficient way to slot this medical procedure into our days. We shop around and find time slots that make sense in our personal lives. We go early, we fill out forms, we sign papers and we sit and wait. The grocery stores seem to understand time slots. so we are out in a short time. Walgreens has a different approach to managing the labor pool for their stores. We sat for 45 minutes and were still watching other people get in for shots. An hour after our scheduled appointment, we were taken care of. Nicest lady in the world, calmest demeanor, most professional bedside manner, we could not be more happy with her. Never again, will we go to Walgreens for our flu shots. And that negative feeling will probably, unconsciously, carry over to our shopping thoughts too. read more

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. Rude staff, ridiculous wait times, incorrect billing of insurance. Was told my scrip would take an hour to fill, came back after 90 minutes, was told come back after lunch. Came back at 5pm and still nothing. Would not recommend filling ANY lifesaving medications here. You'll be dead long before they get the lead out. read more

Wall greens has always been good for me. After useing this location and witnessing them give the wrong persons medication to someone red flags where raised. After being called and told my medication was ready and driving to the store only to find out it is not and it will be ready in 15 min, I'm still sitting in the store waiting 2 hours later. The staff here is so disrespectful. All I did was call to find out if my RX was ready and they said " I just talked to you and hung up on me. I just had total joint replacement and need my meds and can't get them because my dr sent them to Walgreens. If you have a choice choose a different pharmacy. So I came in to pick up a prescription I know this pharmacy was closed for 3 days and totally understand the back up. However the elderly lady on front of my was having problems standing in the long line, she looked back at me and said I need to start bringing my fold out chair, the manager on passing by herd me comment they had been be closed and lashed out face red to defend her pharmacist. I was caught off guard by how aggressive she had inserted herself into a conversation instead of offering a solution to the elderly lady who was struggling to stand. Dysfunctional pharmacy. Worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. The two employees could not find orders in the slots numbered for specific prescriptions that had been filled. I spent 45 minutes in line watching these two searching for various medications and not finding them. Most had to be refilled. More time. More dysfunction. When I finally made it to the individual filling orders she searched in every bin as I just stood there amazed at the complete chaos. Done with Walgreens. Too bad zero stars is not an option. One year ago a got a prescription from Bi-Mart before Walgreens bought them and closed the local pharmacy. It wasn't covered by my insurance. Bi-Mart charged me $49.95. I ordered a refill this year from Walgreens. Still not covered by my insurance. The pharmacist at Walgreens told me the cash price was $1,640. No really, One Thousand Six Hundred Forty Dollars! She told me I could join the Walgreens prescription discount club or something like that. It would cost me $30 per year and my prescription would only cost $180. Starting to sound like a scam to you? Yeah, me too. I could get my $50 prescription for only $210 instead of $1,640. What a deal. I went to Costco. They charged me $19.95. Same drug, same dosage, same quantity. The Costco pharmacist told they were very busy with former Walgreens customers. This one prescription paid for my Costco membership fee with change left over. Thanks Walgreens. read more

This place is the worst. I have waited on hold for 2 hours, been in 4 times- waited for over an hour twice- AND STILL DONT HAVE MY PRESCRIPTION. Here's the kicker- I just want to cancel it and go somewhere else- but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of them in person or on the phone. My family was in a particularly difficult situation regarding a prescription to manage my mother's chronic pain. Insurance was not covering the medication due to overlaps related to her recent multiple hospitalizations. I spoke with Erica in the pharmacy and was prepared to pay out of pocket for the medication to prevent additional possible complications. Erica coordinated approval of the medication with my mother's provider and then took the initiative to use Good Rx and secure a much lower price for the script. The new Walgreens in Prineville is the worst ever. They took over for Bi-Mart and are updating customer information on the fly. OMG, I stood in line for over an hour. When I got to the front of the line they had my old address in their system from 3 years ago. I have been purchasing my prescriptions at Bi-Mart in Prineville for the past 3 years. Walgreens did not even know who my insurance carrier is or my current address. What kind of business takes over another business without updating their records first. The WORST pharmacy--lost count of number of times it took three trips in for a prescription, standing in line each time. Their follow-through is awful--when they tell you they'll have it later in the day, or they will contact the doctor. Their drive-thru hasn't been open for months. Rude little girl at the photo counter doesn't seem to want to do her job. Waited five minutes when I can hear her right behind the half wall of order bins, I finally said hello and she sulks out a minute later to just look at me. I tell her I have a pickup and she just says what size. I tell her my name and that it's an online order, thinking she'll look it up, and she just asks what size again--more rudely this time. I tell her I have two 5X7 items and she asks my name again, guess she couldn't focus on anything until she knew the size. She hands me the photo envelop, saying nothing, and I notice there is no printed label and the handwritten price is wrong from what my online total was. I let her know and she just says the printer isn't working. Okay so she couldn't look up the order and get the correct price??? I show her the email confirmation and she writes a new price, again seeming annoyed at having to do her job. When I go to the counter to check out, the nicer lady there says, oh no, there's no label. I let her know the situation relayed by the other gal and this lady says something like, she should know better and I reply, well she's not very helpful. The lady just says, yeah she needs to work on her customer service. So this is a known issue? I know it's hard to find help these days, I guess you can't expect it to be good help. This Walgreens is decent 2 out of 5 times I go, thus the two stars. It's not the first time I've gotten lackluster service, but there are some good customer service associates there at times. read more

COVID TESTiNG from this store will not be sent out that day ! I needed my test done 72 hours before flying no sooner NO later . They held my test for 2 days before mailing it . I had to fill out papers to quarantine after arriving in Hawaii . Hawaii rules are no sooner then 72 hours and NO later ! It would have shown up on time of landing had they sent out my test that very day . I tested at noon but they sat on it . They lied on the paper work and said I tested the 28 th . I tested on the 26 at noon . They were told it was for traveling as well Do the math . It would have arrived on my travel date had it been sent in They don't care , I spoke with the manager Derrick and all he did was make excuses . I don't recommend going to Them . This has been a waist of money and time . I got my results today 2 days after arriving home , had that test we mailed that day it would have arrived on my travel day. I'm stuck quarantine for 10 days because of the incompetence of the pharmacy . They should all be ashamed . I'm angry as heck about this . They need to be on top of mailing these out ASAP. Saw a guy not wearing mask, asked the cashier if that was common, she said it was, and they arent allowed to say anything. I suggested they get a security guard to refuse entry to these people. All the pharmacies in Bend closed at 9pm, so we rushed to Walgreens Pharmacy in Redmond to try to fill an emergency pain prescription because they were the only pharmacy in Central Oregon that was open late - they close at 10pm. We called the pharmacy at 9:40 to advise them that we were en route from Bend and coming as quickly as we could. The pharmacist said "okay". We arrived just before 10 to find that they had closed the drive through window early. We rushed around to the front door where a woman was standing guard. She apparently knew we were coming because she didn't even ask us what we wanted. She simply shouted "The pharmacy is closed" at us and wouldn't let us in. We held up the prescription and pleaded that we had just spoken to the pharmacist. "He already left," she replied. So apparently our forewarning call that we needed an emergency prescription only served to get them to make sure that they were closed when we arrived. I drove back to bend with no prescription and suffered through the night until a pharmacy could open in the morning, miserable. This easily could have been a glowing, 5 star review, praising your excellent customer service and care, Walgreen's Pharmacy. How unfortunate. read more

This store posts sale price tags for products on the shelf, then they refuse to honor that price at the register! Tonight their excuse was, "That sale doesn't start until tomorrow." I went back to the product, took the tag to the register and showed them where the tag clearly states the sale dates as "Now until June 7"... now is prior to June 7. Good for you for "tricking" me out of a few extra bucks, but they're the last bucks I'll spend at your store! If you go to this store, pay very close attention at check out. read more

Had a prescription accidentally sent here by my doctor. I decided to go ahead and have it filled and the price was close to double what Walmart charged me for my previous fill. I expected it to maybe a little higher than Walmart but $18 vs $35 is ridiculous! I won't ever shop here again. read more

Walgreens as a store can be a disappointment, but their pharmacy definitely makes up for it. They also are one of the few holdouts for photo development left in town. Today is the last day I will ever shop at Walgreens. All I wanted was a 2x2 photo to renew my passport. I read all the rules and requirements, I just needed it printed. They will print every size, mugs, calendars, cards, shirts, 4×4, 4x6, 20x20.....but if you want 2x2 you are SOL. You need to have THEM take your photo and charge you $12.99, seriously!! Is that what you call service? I'm there and you won't print my photo? I have to go home 20 miles and come back? Well, I tnink not!!!
