While visiting Oregon we were amazed at the prices at the different Grocery Markets they had. We decided to visit Grocery outlet while we were there and they have produce and can goods items and frozen items like a grocery store. Grocery pickup, what a hassle! Ordered tomatoes got home and saw some were moldy. Called to get credit, transferred three times put on hold had to go through lengthy interview process to get credit. Not worth it! Walmart process much better. read more

Every time I go to the store I'm greeted with friendly employees and customers. On a regular basis I shop here and the parking lot is always full for good reason. They're a small store but their stock is revolving and they carry some awesome items add some excellent prices. What I love most is the interaction I have with everyone in the store. Owners/managers refuse to post employees schedules 14 days out as oregon labor law states must be done by any company employing over 500 people worldwide: "Your employer must give you a work schedule in writing at least 14 calendar days in advance for the first day on the schedule. It must be posted and easily visible and include all work shifts/on-call shifts." A current employee asked for the full schedule was available and was told "we don't do that". I don't care if writing a two week schedule is hard, maybe the owners should sell if they can't do basic tasks like that. Pathetic, hope a report to the state isn't necessary lol read more

Local Beer at a fair price! That's what I was looking for and that's exactly what I found. Yes Indeed Monkey Face Porter was my beer of choice but they had several varieties from each brewery. Many more affordable options from fresh produce to meat & the usual grocery items. It's a smaller store but they do have bargains....It's worth a visit! Really nice helpful people too. Gave me directions to find the store & helped me locate my next tourist stop. read more

The available selection aways changes and i think that is a good thing. I save hundreds of dollars on groceries by shopping here as much as possible. Juice and coffee is much cheaper here than anywhere else as well as specialtyitems like almond milk and a few select organic items. You never know what you will find here. read more

"I always like shopping at the Grocery Outlets - one can get many things at highly reduced prices, and sometimes they are unusual items not readily found elsewhere. Of course, they don't have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it - it may not be there next time you come. The Redmond store is not a real big one, but still pretty good. I'd have to subtract for them a star for their insistence on keeping their bathrooms locked - it's the only small-town Outlet where I've seen this. I don't know what they've experienced that makes them do this - Redmond is not a town full of loafers and derelicts. I'd suspect the manager or owner is just less tolerant here. read more

I really like the grocery outlet. They have a good selection of name brand organic products. My youngest son is lactose intolerant and the grocery outlet is the only store I can find 2% Organic Valley lactose free milk. We also find the Stonyfield organic brand there too, and it is usually half off the price of the regular store. I wish their selection would be more consistent, only about a quarter of the time can I find the lactose free milk, but I understand that their selection is overstocks of what companies could not sell so it always a mystery of what you might find. The only problem I have is that sometimes I will not check the date and I will buy something that is already expired, it does not happen very often, but it is a disappointment when it happens. read more

Wife and I went to the Grocery Outlet in Redmond, OR on Sat. I pulled into the parking lot with my full sized truck and parked. My wife went into the store and I waited with my child in the vehicle. When we went to leave, I backed out of my parking spot and hit a shopping cart that was left in the parking lot, in my blind spot, AFTER I parked. It was not there when I parked or I would have hit it when I parked. We contacted the store manager and were told the owner would contact us on Monday. Monday came and we had to call again. The phone call was never returned. We called again and were told the owner was only in for a short time and we would have to call again on Tuesday. My wife called on Tuesday and finally spoke to the owner. The owner said there was no way to prove the damage occurred in their parking lot and basically called us liars. They won't even consider assisting with the damages. We will no longer be giving them our business and I would others to do the same. If you aren't going to provide a place to put shopping carts in your parking lot, you should be willing to cover damages that occur because your patrons leave shopping carts all over the parking lot. read more
