The Ridgecrest Walgreens pharmacy is ridiculous. I have waited over an hour getting service. Ever since Mike left the service has horrible.

What pharmacy closes for a whole week without notifying customers online who need their medication to survive? It always takes several phone calls to get prescriptions filled and to find out when they will be filled, check to make sure they are filled before driving all the way to pick up. Surely there has to be a more efficient way of completing prescriptions. They wait so much time that could be used to get work done. ‍ Haven't found any pharmacy that has efficiency in filling medications. read more

If I could give Ridgecrest Walgreens Pharmacy a negative number review I would. They are terribly understaffed and have a bad attitude. One of the Pharmacy Techs named Cathy told me my dentist could not prescribe meds and they could not fill my prescription and I should go to the Emergency Room. How is this pharmacy real life? This is a town of 28,000 people. Stop acting like you are working in Los Angeles or NYC. and are SOOOOOO busy. Why are you SO busy? An entire hour on hold on the phone to find out that the woman I spoke to yesterday for 20 minutes DIDN'T BOTHER TO DO ANYTHING TO FILL MY MEDICINE. NOTHING. DIDN'T BOTHER TO DO HER JOB AT ALL. ZERO F'S GIVEN. This is a seizure medication. This is important. so then I ask to speak to the pharmacy manager. And he needs to be told how to handle this and wants me to spell my medication name to him? ARE YOU NOT A HEAD PHARMACIST?? YOU NEED ME TO SPELL YOU MEDICINE NAMES? you have google and a computer in front of you. and you should know med names. I went to Walgreens to get a COVID booster and flu shot. After over two hours someone in the pharmacy staff realized they had done nothing to actually set up the shots. It took 3 and half hours to finally get these vaccinations. The pharmacy staff at this Walgreens is possibly the most incompetent on the planet. I will never go to another Walgreens again and I would suggest never going into this one unless you want to be ignored and treated horribly. I gave them one star, but I would have given them zero if I could. In fact, I would have given them negative stars if that was possible. read more

Go anywhere else! I have been sick for a few days. I went to urgent care and saw the doctor, so he sees that I'm sick, writes some prescriptions and send them to Walgreens. My husband had to hand deliver one of them(as I am too sick to go) The pharmacist didn't bother to call me, or the doctor with his "concerns" but made a decision to charge us the FULL copay and only give us HALF the medication. When I tried to get in touch with them, the pharmacist is always "out to lunch". Don't bother going here as you'll have to pay twice as much and get half the meds. The worst part of it is, that we travel for work, and by the time the other half of my prescription MAY be available, we will not be. And they won't transfer it to another pharmacy. They're screwing people over without a care for the patient. Go somewhere else. read more

THE EMPLOYEES ARE NOT TODDLER-FRIENDLY, or friendly at all. Although, The store was neat, quiet, looked clean, The ATTITUDE of one particular employee by the name of Margaret (I think) was nasty. JUST AS NASTY as her thinning, fragile red hair with ends as broken &split as her spirit if she ever had one. This old lady had some mean vibes and a cold attitude when I asked her a simple question. The attitude of the cashier seemed to match the negativity of the toxic place of employment. Walgreens is my go-to for pharmaceutical needs. Unfortunately, I will be switching Pharmacies. I have never been to anything as slow as their ability too put a label on some cream. I wonder if they realize that the more prescriptions you push out, the more money your company makes. read more

When your photo printing system is down for two weeks and a customer walks in wanting to print photos and you let them sit there at the kiosk for 30 minutes doing all their stuff and then you tell them our printer is been down for two weeks... garbage! Complete garbage! Why would you let me sit there without someone mentioning that fact, that there should've been a sign somewhere if not five places saying that one hour printing was not working! read more

Absolutely the slowest Walgreens I have ever used. Currently the excuse is they are short pharmacists and have to cut hours. I have waited more than twenty four hours now for a second prescription to be filled. It's not ready yet even though they estimated it would be ready an hour and a half ago. Any bets on if it will be filled before the pharmacy will close in less than three and a half hours? This is the last time I use this Walgreens. read more

Truthfully I would not recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy. I am very sick, I have Bechets, Avascular necrosis, Endometriosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc (yes there's more). Because of all this I'm on several medications and two of them are controlled. Now I've been sick for 16 years and on pain medicine for the last 11 of them. I understand the laws and policies and atmosphere around pain medicine, trust me. I always try to explain any changes to the pharmacist, explain my treatment plan, basically include them as part of my care team because truthfully they are; what good is a script if you can't fill it? I moved here about a year ago and needed a new pharmacy. From the beginning choosing Walgreens was a mistake. The first big problem aside from just bad attitude was when my dose was increased. They refused to fill the script until my lower dose script was completely out despite the higher dose script technically being a NEW script not a REFILL because it was a different dose. Because of this I was in withdraw for 5 days. When I called and explained to the pharmacist how scripts worked and asked them to just look at the two scripts and see for themself that they're different, they realized and agreed. How do I know more than the pharmacist about scripts?! Second, when I had a major surgery I was prescribed a second less powerful pain medicine for breakthrough for the additional pain. They refused to release it to me until I was out of my daily pain medicine despite the doctor and I calling to explain the situation. Third, the pharmacist always has a terrible attitude but I witnessed him picking up my filled medicine bottle and throwing it at the face of a very kind tech who was talking with me. Fourth, he would cancel my scripts for no reason and never tell me, so when I went to get my refill it wouldn't be there anymore. This happened at least 3 times, two times while my doctor was on vacation so I went into withdraw and had to go to the ER. The pharmacist never cared. Fifth, I'm on a medicine for neuropathy but it is also controlled. When he would cancel my pain scripts he would also cancel this script and when you withdraw from this medicine you can have seizures. He was responsible for the one I had. Sixth, he would often lie. He told me it was illegal to pay cash for a script your insurance wouldn't cover. He said I needed a prior authorization or I was not getting my medication. I called my insurance company and they said that was absolutely not true but did a prior authorization anyway. The pharmacist then was legitimately upset I had gotten a prior authorization. I believe it was just a ploy so I couldn't get my medicine. There are so many other things that happened with this pharmacist. Like I said, I understand the stigma and atmosphere of controlled medicine. I understand the fear it causes doctors and pharmacists because of all the lawsuits and the DEA. But I'm not going home and snorting or selling this, I have to get tested regularly to make sure there is a specific amount of medicine in my body. But still I'm treated like a criminal. Even while picking up just normal medicine his attitude was horrible and when I spoke to the manager she said "yeah we get a lot of complaints about that but there's nothing I can really do". They also take very, very long to fill any medicines even if you're sitting there waiting; at least a half hour for 1. I understand that they get busy and can be short staffed so I have less to say about that aspect. After all this, I switched to Walmart and it has been night and day. They are wonderful. Steer clear of Walgreens if at all possible, I promise it's for the best. read more

This Walgreens is Amazing. I stopped in to print some pictures. There photo department is great and so easy to use. There is a Kiosk there to order pictures online. They even have the adapter needed for different types of phones. The staff was so very helpful with any questions I have. I ended up sending some photos there from my app that they helped me to download. I pick them up the next day and the pictures turned out lovely. It was so easy. The staff here is amazing and helped me with anything I needed especially in the photo department. I am grateful read more

After waiting for 20 min on the phone to find out why the prescription for our son hasn't been filled in two weeks they hang up on us! A lady answers the phone I say hello hang on a sec. I handed the phone to my wife to talk with the lady which took 1.5 sec (my wife was right next to me) and the lady hung up on us. This is the typical treatment we get at this location. If they weren't the only place in town that compounds prescriptions for infants we would never deal with these people again. read more

This is a TERRIBLE pharmacy. Even if you call in RX, have refills and come HOURS after the told time it will be ready, meds are not ready. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I keep trying to give this place a chance because it's close to home, but they don't care and they don't live up to theirs promises. read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen it is always a nightmare getting refills even when you have automatic refills. They are always behind filling prescriptions. If you do not wait inside the store for your refill it wont get filled for days. read more

Go somewhere else anywhere else but here they lose your prescriptions they act like you're trying to get illegal drugs instead of your own medications from your doctor. And they tried to charge you four times as much as your insurance will pay so I can make more money please do something about the store it's dangerous people are going to die because they can't get their prescriptions I wish I could give it a zero star instead of just one sure way to do that that's it thanks read more

Stopped in here today to see what kind of Christmas gifts I could find. Everyone who was working today was very helpful and nice enough to answer any questions I had. I found a few things I liked and went to pay. There was no line & I needed to renew my membership card since I haven't shopped at Walgreens in a long time. The cashier was very nice and I got my new membership card quickly and without any problems. I don't know why other reviews have said so much about there being rude people working at this Walgreens. I have to agree with the majority of the reviews, the Pharmacy is very slow and they consistently get my prescription wrong. I having been going to this store since it opened. Keep in mind that a have been on the same exact prescription for years and I am on the automatic refill reminder where I get a call. 75% of the time the order in not ready and/or wrong. The Pharmacists are helpful and polite and they do correct the mistakes. However, some of the worker behind the counter are rude. When I spoke to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager they told me I had to contact the corporate office to make complaints. That makes absolutely no since to me. A Store Manager should be able to handle local issues. I will say that the store is clean and neat. However, I no longer shop inside the Store because the Store Manager has no authority over there employees. That makes me uncomfortable. I only pick up my one prescription at the drive through window. I am currently, looking to change pharmacies in the near future. read more

Turned in my prescription at 8:00am right when they opened on Thursday. I was told it will be ready by 3pm. 24 ,hours later, still not ready. I was told that it will not be ready by Sunday. 3 days to get your meds refilled? Worst pharmacy ever read more

If I could give this place a negative stars I would! They stopped giving my spouse his scrip just decided that he didn't need them anymore. He's been hurt like 18 years, tried all kinds of other stuff and the drs finally found something that wasn't addictive and he could dress himself in, live a little and now this pharmacist decided he knows best! Horrendously slow pharmacy. Multiple people behind the counter and yet the line barely moved. My prescriptions were called in early in the day, and I still had to wait for over an hour when I went to pick them up after work. And they were not even apologetic for the wait. read more

Probably the slowest pharmacy you will ever visit. Take your prescriptions elsewhere. Typically you will spend about 35 minutes waiting in line before you are helped. Time of day does not matter. read more

When I first got to Ridgecrest, Walgreen's used to take Tricare Insurance, but then one year they stopped. I refuse to go to a store (unless I really have to) that doesn't support the military, especially in a military town. It used to be easy to go there to pick up prescriptions, during lunch breaks, but now I have to drive to the other side of town because of Walgreen's. Way to support the military! read more

This place is right near where I used to live, which was really nice. I could usually find what I needed here, oh and I really like the photo center! it's good to have somewhere to get photos on this side of town, walmart being the other side. Contrary to what the other reviewers have said, I don't remember meeting any rude employees.. They've always been pretty nice to me. read more

I've been going here for about a year to get my prescriptions filled since another pharmacy in town almost could never fill one of mine at one point. I've never had a problem with getting my prescriptions right (outside of the hospital's shenanigans). They helped me correct the problem this morning and even went out of their way to try to run it with an alternate insurance plan. The cashiers are usually very helpful and understanding and if I needed any photos printed, I would go to them in a heartbeat as I had some film prints printed by them ages ago. They also have one of the best health and beauty sections in town and the only place that carries blush in my shade. read more

They are always courteous, kind, and working diligently.. I use Walgreens often and they are always super busy running around filling our prescriptions, answering phones, serving customers in line inside, and serving customers at the drive thru. Seeing as how they are super busy, I go knowing it may be a moment or knowing I may have to come back due to issues like insurance delays that are beyond their control. read more

I have had huge problems with Rite-Aid here in town messing up insurance submissions and delaying my and my daughter's prescriptions for days at a time. Our meds aren't something we can go days to weeks without because a pharmacist or tech forgot to clear something from the last order that's not allowing ours to go through correctly. I have never had ONE problem with things like that here at Walgreen's, in fact they have gone out of the way more than once to help me to be able to afford a medication that was high priced and not on my plan formulary, so not covered. Every employee there has been nice and friendly to me, never had a rude one yet. Yes, the line is slow and the drive through is also so took a star off for that, takes a long time (don't get in the drive through line if your fuel light is on lol) but I would rather have a long wait with accurate and correctly billed meds than a short wait and be told "OH I'm sorry, we can't fill that now, your insurance denied it", to me the trade off is worth it. read more
