In the course of my skin check, she looked at a spot I was concerned about and said it wasn't anything. Then - very casually - she said she could get rid of it (it was basically a deep pimple) and did so. At no point did she mention this was an extra charge. When I received my bill, it was charged at $300 in addition to the office visit. Had she said it was an extra charge, I would have declined and taken care of it myself once it was determined not to be something of concern. When I called to ask about it, the business manager said that it how it's done. She said they don't say what is extra and everything done in the office is billed. I mentioned I would have declined the service if I knew what the extra would be and she did not seem to care.

Thank goodness that I found a $5 eyeshadow primer at the drugstore, of all places, that does work for me. Maybe this stuff works if you have super dry skin? But if you have any hint of oiliness on your face, find a different brand. But the customer service at the desk and floor have always been helpful. They always greet me with a smile when I enter and I also appreciate how diverse the staff is. They can get busy especially around the holidays, but they always go through the customers pretty quickly and efficiently. I love how bright and open the space is. There's a lot of color in the displays and they have a huge variety of products. Pretty much anything you need for makeup and skin is located here. Their credit card program is great and there's lots of rewards you can get. I recently brought my toddlers and they loved looking around at everything with me. I also didn't feel judged by the staff for bringing small kids to the shop. It's hard to get out with small kids these days, but friendly staff definitely make it a bit easier. :)
