They're normally out of things you need. Allergy medication, high blood pressure medicine..... you know.... stuff that is really rare. So your medications are backordered and you won't have them for days. Walgreens is terrible too so at this point you have to pick the lesser of two evils. read more

I moved to CVS years ago because Walgreens was getting bad. CVS in Rosemount was good then I moved to the Farmington location, what a mistake. The Farmington pharmacy is a complete joke. The system emails you about a refill needed but it needs authorization from the doctor. I tell them that it is okay to contact them to fill. After that, the system hadn't been sending alerts so I decided to stop to see if they had it ready about a week later and they didn't have it after they ignored me for 10 minutes a pissed customer on the phone and in drive through. I was so excited when they built this place here but if it doesn't serve the community it is in, it will fail. I like to support local business even if it is a chain. I know they can do much better but i avoid this place as much as i can. So angry after the last couple experiences with getting my prescriptions. Get it together. I am considering pulling my prescriptions which is the only time I stop here at all. read more

I would not trust this pharmacy with the care of a hamster let alone prescriptions for humans. If you must use a CVS, based in this store I would not recommend it, but if you must, the Target CVS meets the minimum standard of "competent" and the staff was quite friendly and super helpful at Target. read more

I moved to Farmington 3 months ago and just googled the closes pharmacy to me, which was my first mistake. When it was time to renew my prescriptions, I called it in and spoke to an actual person and it was supposed to be ready at 12n the day BEFORE my insurance ran out. I went at 3p, no prescription, no notes, no nothing!! They "promised" to find it and fill it by 10a the next day!!! Show up on the 1st, NOTHING AGAIN! It took an entire week to get my first prescription. And since it was after my insurance was done I had to pay $165 out of pocket! What a joke!!! Onto the 2nd month refill. SAME b. s. story, they "can't find it" when it was promised to be ready at 2p I was there at 4. NOTHING!!! How in the world does this happen twice?? Now onto my 3rd month...same frickin' thing. I said I wasn't leaving until I got my refill that was promised ready HOURS BEFORE I got there. I also said I've been here for 3 months and this is the 3rd time of this happening, I'm switching to Walgreens!!! How can a pharmacy operate like that?? *Losing* prescriptions ALL THE TIME?? The pharmacy is extremely slow & unresponsive. The store staff is very helpful and friendly but the pharmacy is in serious need of help.

This location is severely understaffed EVERY time I visit. I will not be getting my prescriptions filled here moving forward. The pharmacy staff is also very rude. At least provide decent customer service to try to make up for the wait. read more

I was thrilled when they decided to build the CVS in my neighborhood. I have been a huge fan of CVS ever since they came to the Twin Cities. Stores are clean and not cluttered... And I think they are organized in a way that makes it easy to find what you were looking for. I also love that CVS is no longer selling cigarettes in their stores... I can imagine that this is a huge impact to the revenue, but considering CVS is a pharmacy then I think it makes sense to not sell something that is so bad for you. The Farmington location is very nice and is rarely busy... It is easy to get in and out rather quickly. I also love that I can come here for my flu shot in the fall, or for a blood pressure check when needed. The pharmacists are also quite friendly and very helpful when you have questions. The only complaint I have about this particular location is that it is a little bit difficult to get to when heading north on Pilot Knob, but not sure that there is anything CVS could do about this based on how the roads are designed. read more

This is my neighborhood pharmacy and I am very pleased with them. I have found the pharmacy staff to be helpful and I love the convenience of the drive thru! I also get my annual flu shot here. One-stop shopping! Recently, the Pharmacist called and said that they wanted to get all my prescriptions on the same schedule. We talked about it and worked on a plan that make it possible so I only need to stop by one time to fill them all at once. I like that level of customer service. I also like that I can mange my prescriptions online and get notifications via text. It make it very easy for me. I like that the store is always clean and organized. Other stores of this type seem so junky, CVS always keeps everything in the right area and easy to find. They have a good variety of items and have what I need when I need it. What more can you ask? read more

What a set of morons, please go elsewhere to get your prescriptions filled. We are moving to another CVS, hopefully they are better otherwise it will be Walgreens. We have been with CVS for decades plus our insurances forces us to use them, but these pharm-thechs and pharmacist don't know what they are doing. The training CVS is providing the must be nonexistent. We waited 3 weeks for a refill only to find out the sent the request to the wrong doctor and for the wrong medicine, don't what to say except I hope the someone fro CVS regional management reads this and takes action. read more

I used to love coming to this CVS location, always clean and most of the staff is helpful. Today I had an incident happen with the pharmacist Sue talking about me and my sons prescription. I dropped it off yesterday and said to please have it ready for pick up by 4 pm the next day. SO i get a text notification that it was ready to be picked up... great so i went on my lunch to pick it up. When Sue had to re bill she says loud enough to where i can hear "i thought she wasn't picking this up until 4 today?" Honestly what difference does it make what time I came to pick it up? It was ready it just needed to be re billed due to using a coupon. It was very rude and left a bad taste in my mouth. This is not the first negative encounter i have had with Sue. read more

Used to frequent this CVS for prescriptions. I continued to receive poor service from both the pharmacy techs and pharmacists, so I switched to the Pilot Knob Target Pharmacy (which is also a CVS now). Have been much happier at the Target Pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is a mess, they filled our infant's prescription in pill form and when I asked for liquid they were shocked to hear she was one, like they never read the birthdate. When we did get the liquid it was expired (by 3 months) and when I called to get it fixed I was on hold for more than 20 minutes. We've had trouble with them in the past, but this was a terrible experience. Please find any other pharmacy!! read more
