Cashiers are moody and rude, don't really care that you're there. I've set my basket on the counter and the cashier seriously asked me to take my items out of my basket. Really? I've been a cashier for seven years, I have never asked a customer to do ANYTHING. Do it for them. You're not a servant, but you don't have to be an asshole either. As soon as I walk in to complete my shopping--The store manager 'Pam' comes out to hover over me likely due to her obvious prejudice nature. And so I decide to ask for help looking for two items and she decided to treat me as if I was a second class citizen. Talking to me as if I was illiterate or dumb for not being able to find products that were not advertised as they appeared in store. I calmly reply by telling her she was being disrespectful and she chooses to become even more disrespectful and threaten my job for telling her the way she talks to customers and employees is very... disrespectful. Someone fire this lady as she knows nothing of kindness and compassion resulting in a complete lack of customer service skills. I am unsure of how she even got to be a 'store manager' as she so boldly claims, but I assure you that someone made a huge mistake. read more

Not too happy with this store. You never know if the drive through is open or closed. Most of the people are nice, but they are short staffed. One word to Walgreens hire more people. If you are not using the drive through, close it down. And I tried to buy propane from them, they told me someone took the keys home with them. Who does that. Not a dependable place to go. read more

Walgreen's on State st. in Saginaw used to be decent now it is the worst for service. The drive thru is frequently closed finding out after driving a distance to get there. When I called to find out ahead of time, no one answers the phone, waited more than a half an hour (no not during time for lunch break) and no one answers the phone. They no longer have curbside service because they say they have a drive thru. No options for a disable person or a very sick person. And when the drive thru is open the wait is insane. I've waited as long as 1 hr 20min. stuck in the line up, and that was only 5 cars in front of me. Would have left sooner but didn't image it would take that long. Plus I would only have to return to the same situation to get my medications. I'm done with Walgreens. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. More than once I have been on the phone on hold for hours including tonight. What I learned from a friendly customer service representative at the store, Suzanne, was that when you press the prompt for Pharmacy even though you're calling the local number you're getting directed to a national call center, so if you do call the local number, speak to a customer service representative and have them transfer you to the pharmacy. I was on hold with that call center for an hour and a half and got hung up on. I ended up having to call the local store back to get transferred back to the pharmacy five times after that. Then, when I finally did get through, I spoke to an extremely rude pharmacist who was not sympathetic to my two hour wait time at all and told me that I had to come in in person to bring my new insurance card in. He would not take it over the phone . Needless to say I will not be going back to this pharmacy and would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Please go elsewhere! Also, their lines are ridiculously long since Rite Aid closed. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anybody. read more

Wait time is unacceptable both on the phone, waited over 30 minutes for "one caller ahead of you" drive through and inside lines are worse

This is for the Walgreens on State and Center Rd in Saginaw MI. It started out pretty rough..long line to pick up meds early am and then received the wrong ones, got charged the wrong price. Called and went back in later in the evening. I believe her name was Diamond (manager): she was outstanding!! She returned the wrong meds, got the right one to me and did it courteously!! She made the experience turn completely around. read more

Very Rude and Racists! Not only one time, but FEW times. I tried to ask about the kind of generics they stock for medications I have prescriptions for, from my physicians who ask me which pharmacy I would like to send my prescribed med to! I have to know what generics each pharmacy stock, before the office send in my prescriptions as I have kidney failure, bowel and colon resection that make me very sensitive to inactive ingredients to certain generics and I have to stick to the ones that I already know. Walgreens always refuse to give me any information about anything. They are always rude to me whenever I ask them this question and treat me like an ALIEN who speaks JEBRISH. It's either they are very unprofessional or very racists as I am not a privileged white. Will NEVER recommend. read more

We use another Pharmacy that was out of my medication. I called Walgreens on State and Center who said they had my medication so I got it transferred there. Called later to see if it was ready they said it would be ready the next day. I went there next day to pick it up and they were out of it it would be on the truck the next day. I went back the next day and was it wasn't on he truck. I went to the store 3 times with 3-4 phone calls. Never got my prescription there, had to transfer it back to our regular pharmacy. Every time I was there several people were sitting/sleeping in chairs waiting on prescriptions, which I have never seen before in any pharmacy. The last time I called I spoke to a Pharmacy employee that said my prescription should be ready the next day. I asked her for her 1st name, she said she wasn't comfortable giving her 1st name, but she said her last name was Wood. This store is ridiculous, I can't imagine why anyone would use them. I suggest you avoid this place if you enjoy peace in your life. With all these bad reviews I wonder why Walgreens doesn't step in and correct these problems. Makes me think they must all be like this. read more

Dr. ordered a 90 supply but Walgreen's filled it as a 30 day supply. When questioned they acted like it was my fault and insinuated I was trying to steal pills. Finally gave me 45 more pills so I will be without medication for 15 days. Very uncaring and arrogant. Guess you need to count pills when you get them! read more

Convenient. Was the only store open on Thanksgiving morning. Affordable. Cashier/checkout was poorly designed. Two cashier's desks facing each other creating a bottle neck for anybody wanting to pay for their merchandise. If the person at A has a shopping cart and is still paying for their items, person B will be unable to get out of the store because the cashier is literally right in front of the sliding glass doors. But, if you need medications, you may have no other choice other than to pick it up here. Alternative: Walmart. read more

I frequent this Walgreens because it's close to where I live & work. Usually, the employees are very helpful, friendly, etc but lately there has been a cashier who's less than friendly & never lets me use my points! I watch on the screen during the whole transaction & I've seen her bypass the screen on her end that asks if I want to use my points for this transaction. She doesn't even give me the choice to use them. Before I have the chance to say anything, the translation is complete & she's giving me my total. What's the point of having a rewards program if your employees don't let the customers use it?! read more

This is a review for the store on State Street in Saginaw, MI. Horrible customer service in the pharmacy department. The workers are not pleasant to deal with and can be just plain rude. They have issues processing insurance for a flu shot whenever I go in there and never fix it. The wait is always so long here too. The guy who gives the shots is good at it (didn't feel a thing) but seems to be annoyed by absolutely everything around him- don't even think about asking him a simple question because it's completely beneath him to answer like a civilized person. If you can use a different pharmacy then avoid this place! read more

The store is close to my house and the pharmacy is 24 hrs, so I thought it would be convenient to have my scripts transferred there from another store accross town. Not so. The last 4 times I've been there I recieved horrible service. The lines at the pharmacy are long and the staff are generally extremely rude. Their equipment doesn't work, so there is often a problem checking out. The last time it literally took them days to fill simple antibiotic prescription faxed in from the med express down the street. They once gave me someone elses prescription even after "verifying" my name and address causing me to have to make another trip back to the store and wait while they figured out how to fix the mistake all the while blaming me for not noticing!. Tonight I went in after needing a simple prescription for flonase and was told it would be hours before they could fill it because "as I could see, they were busy". They were, but come on, it is premeasured in a bottle. They dont' even have to count pills! There were 9 people in line behind me while the workers were completely unsympathetic to the wait. If I ever get my meds tonight (I've called twice and they still aren't ready after nearly 3 hrs) I will help them solve this problem of being backed up by having all of my prescriptions transferred back to my old pharmacy. I hope that the people who work in that pharmacy get sick and then get treated the way they treat their customers. Horrible place with horrible service. read more
