Every prescription requires 2-3 tries before being correctly filled. Lines are ridiculous. Switching to an online pharmacy.

It took 8 days to get a re-fill at this 705 Jake Alexander Blvd. location. When I call the store phone's #, I get an automated phone service. During these 8 days, I was told that I had 3 re-fills with all 3 being the same. I deleted 2 of them only to find out later they had not been deleted. Then, on my next call, the phone service would inform me that I had a re-fill ready, but when I called the store, I was told that there were no re-fills for me. The store attendants would say that they had nothing to do with the automated service even though it was connected to the store's phone number. They blamed the doctor's office for not sending in the re-fill even though there were 3 re-fills listed on their automated service. This merry-go-round continued for 8 days in a row. Employee was extremely rude. They were restocking an isle I was looking in and I was patiently waiting for a moment to ask to squeeze around to look at a potential gift for a friend. They snapped at me and in an annoyed tone said "do you need help with something?" To which I said "No, sorry I just needed to ask if I could squeeze through" and while I was still looking in the isle loudly said "we need to block off the isle" to another employee. I left without getting the item I was considering due to this interaction being so uncomfortable. read more

No one EVER answers the phone e in the pharmacy. It is absolutely ridiculous that someone can call five or six times a day and every time a call is made you get the same message about callers being ahead of you. No matter how long you wait online no one ever picks up. This is totally 100% unacceptable and not a good way to do business. read more

This store is incredible! Incredibly awful. My doctor will call in a prescription and when I go to pick it up 24 hours later it is usually not ready and I have to wait for it. Sometimes I call to see if the prescription is ready and I most often get left to die on hold for as long as 20 minutes before I hang up. This happens almost every time. It is obvious that they are understaffed, but I guess that when you and your largest competitor have the local drug market sewed up you can concentrate on profits rather than customer service. If there was a viable way for me to avoid this place I would. read more

As much as I think the employees are wonderful here, always have been I cannot understand why their efficiency in the pharmacy is soooo horrendous. Their storage method for prescriptions are from the 60's, at best. It doesn't matter when you go to pick yours up, plan on a 15-20 wait, on a good day. read more

The store itself is great and the people are friendly - BUT... the pharmacy set up leaves MUCH to be desired. They are NOT efficient at keeping down long lines and wait times. The bulk of that I believe is that they don't have enough help and are far over using the ones that are there. This is likely out of their control and it comes from a corporate issue, but still and yet - it is the customer who suffers. Point in fact - just now on Jan 19, 2023 at 10:39am, I called to ask a question in the pharmacy about a covid test I was trying to schedule and immediately was told by a recording "We're sorry. Our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we will be with you shortly. There are more than 3 callers ahead of you". I waited through this and I was accidently cut off. I IMMEDIATELY called back and somehow - it went right back to "there are more than 3 callers ahead of you". - and STAYED the same for over 30 minutes. I think this is what they set it to on purpose - and they just cannot or don't want to answer the phone. This is inexcusable for a pharmacy not to be able to answer a phone call for over 30 minutes. Something is very wrong here. :( read more

Horrible customer service and staff. Takes forever to fill a prescription. The drive thru is a joke. Constant mistakes on prescriptions. Over charges and putting incorrect dates for pick up in the system. They are arrogant when it's their mistake and you are trying to get it straightened out. It can also take days..at which time you go without. Whoever manages this pharmacy needs to be fired. read more

As my better half works in Salisbury, so we use this Walgreens when needed. Nothing is different than other stores....consistent layout and product offerings. We shopped for what we needed....found it...........all is good. read more

What's sad is when my son had a 104 fever I had to sit and listen to what they wanted from taco Bell and anywhere I've worked you get the customer out before you worry about feeding your fat mouth. Exsp. when your child is severally sick all they care about is eating. I got there at 5p.m and left at 5:52. I heard, "I see 3 at the pharmacy and the front 5times and all I heard was Taco Bell. Don't be in customer service if all you care about is getting your lunch. It would of took you 5min. To get the line lines done but you have no common courtesy for other people. I can't wait til I can switch pharmacy you are a disgrace. I wish rite aide was still open . You are a disgrace for human decentsy. You're a joke. They need to shut you down. This is the ABSOLUTE worse pharmacy in Salisbury. They NEVER have your RX ready when promised & if they are out of stock you find out when you arrive to pick up the RX. This has happened on MORE THAN ONE occasion here. The staff & pharmacist are RUDE & act like they are doing you a favor being there & filling your RX. I moved my business elsewhere.
