You use to post recipes on a variety of dishes you could make using Brick Street products...haven't seen that lately. Next, the product doesn't seem as fresh, maybe business has slacked off and they're not turning the lettuce as quickly. The lettuce use to last for several weeks; I'm lucky today if it last through the weekend...goes bad more quickly. In addition, it appears the staff is not as 'friendly' and helpful. You use to have a lady that would always help me select different lettuces and give me ideas on how to make different dishes using them; she was very insightful, knowledgeable, friendly and have am amazing personality. The employees today (nothing against them, in my world my attitude is a reflection of management...just saying). So, don't know what you're dealing with as a company but if you plan on surviving you need to get your act together. We loved the 'Ol' brick street' and all of the love it showed the community; not feeling that now. This is the second type. I guess this company doesn't realize that all stores of a chain reflect on all others. But here it is. Obsolete gas pumps, broken up concrete in the parking lot, and decades of ground in dirt on the floor inside that even the most diligent employee equipped with the best Billy Mays miracle cleaner couldn't make look acceptable. Ah, yes, employees. There is huge employee turnover rate. And it's inconvenient to go there late because the doors are often locked and customers have to get their items through a slot. I don't know if this is due to not being able to keep enough employees to have two on third shift or due a conscious decision to inconvenience customers in exchange for saving a few payroll hours at minimum wage. Anyway, if you can't live without that super low priced Polar Pop fountain drink, go a few extra blocks to the Circle K at 5th Avenue North and 34th Street.
