Unfortunately after the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior by the pharmacy staff at this particular location. It really leaves me no choice but to leave a very bad review, with hopes that change with come out of all this. On Wednesday 10/1/25 a relative of mine was simply just trying to get a flu vaccination. Three of the pharmacy staffs took a look at the insurance card and could not figure out if they accepted it or not. This relative of mine had been coming to this pharmacy for over one year already and had picked up many prescriptions using this one insurance card for coverage. The pharmacy staff decided that they needed a different card "prescription card" for one entire year that has passed not once was this ever asked before. My relatives information has been in the system for one year already. The young woman with very short-haired and glasses with black scrubs who seemed to have more seniority. Would not help the young man at the cash register who also had short hair and black scrubs. The young man seemed to be very frustrated and nervous. So he provided me with some information for my relatives insurance comp. My mentally disabled relative could not receive her flu shot due to the fact of the pharmacy staff stating the insurance card is has expired and is not in the system. My family and I left the pharmacy and went over to cvs in the same town since my relative has also used them over the years as well. The experience at cvs was so phenomenal. Not only was my relative greeted and treated so kindly, but was also given the flu vaccination using the same exact and only insurance card. This Walgreens Pharmacy really should be ashamed of themselves for the behavior me and my family witnessed and how my relative fell of victim to. A formal phone call complaint was made within the same hour and reported to the shift manager named Chris (female) who apologized on behalf of the pharmacy staff. Chris also stated that due to her position she didn't have the authority to oversee the pharmacy customer service.Chris also stated she will hand over the information to her overseeing manger Christina. Unfortunately Christina the main manager had just left for the day. Chris assured that a phone call back with an update would take place the following day. CHRISTINA THE MANAGER may have never received the information. My relative called back the next day,and received alot of hang ups, excuses for call backs. It became very unprofessional and distasteful and represents a big stain on the store. No accountability was taken and that is unacceptable. Today is October 5, 2025. It's in the hands of corporate management now. This absolutely needed to be spoken on the inappropriate, disregarded,discriminatory acts of customer service given by walgreens Pharmacy staff and store managers. I really hope this doesn't continue and a lesson is taught in how it's effortless to be kind to one another. Best regards. read more

I found everything I needed and then some at this neighborhood Walgreens in Wallingford! I popped in for a travel hair dryer because I forgot to pack one! There was one left and it was on sale! Score! I was then taken in by all of the seasonal displays and the massive holiday aisle. Thankfully, along several aisles, there are baskets stacked for your convenience. Because if you're like me, you come in for a couple things, and soon your hands are full! Story of my life. So I grabbed a basket and it didn't take me long to fill it with candies, gifts, cookies, stuffed toys, makeup and accessories. I also stocked up on travel items from the great inventory on the travel section on the back wall of the store. I picked up some magazines too! I saw some Pez dispensers, and it was tempting to add them to my basket as I was an avid Pez collector but I used my will power to leave them for another PEZhead! This store is well stocked, clean, organized, and the sections as clearly marked making it a breeze to navigate along the aisles. Check out was seamless and the employees were pleasant. What's not to like about this corner convenient pit stop and pharmacy? (The parking lot and front could use a tidy, but other than that, it's a easy quick stop for your seasonal, office, grocery, office, photo, household, & health and beauty needs). read more

Ordering online was easy and smooth. Coupons came off as I had it which was better than being in the actual stores. Upon arrival getting the pickup in store, Initially there wasn't anyone when I first got there and whomever did the order put 3 sodas in one bag with chips dish liquid and other things in the order. Not happy with the packing at all especially the bags handles are extremely flimsy. Why put three heavy bottles in one bag with flimsy bags especially with other items. read more

Something that made my local pharmacy/convenience store so much more accessible and convenient is the fact that it had a FedEx inside. I stopped into their photo counter (where they set up their FedEx) and had a few packages that needed to be shipped off to a few retailers. Their was a helpful "Need Assistance?" button- once pressed a person came over and helped me within 2 minutes. The drop off was so easy. I had my packages on the counter, all she said was "You're dropping off?" I said, "Yes," and she scanned it. I was all set. It couldn't have been more simple. Thanks Walgreens for partnering with FedEx and making my life so much easier! read more

The Pharmacist here are great . Josphine, Beth and Dil are the best. They are always available to help in anyway they can. Even if I don't stop at the pharmacy they give a friendly wave and smile if they happen to see me. I have been going to this pharmacy for six-seven years now and they have been there the entire time. It's nice because they know a little bit about me and they care. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Excellent customer service!! read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. The store has barely any employees and you'll be waiting a long time regardless of your needs: photo, front end, etc. the pharmacy is actually the worst thing they have going. Have you ever been in their drive through- at least a half hour wait. If you're lucky your meds can be ready on the same day. How about when they close for a few days and you can't get your medication? I believe all pharmacies are short staffed at the moment yet CVS still will get you your script, SAME DAY. 0 stars, would not recommend. read more

What poor attitudes in this place . I had a script called in I went to get it at first she said it wasn't called in , then she found it and said it was just called in 5 min ago . The doctors off had called me 30 min before to tell me they called it in and they were closing for lunch at 130 . I got there at 125 and she said we are going to lunch . Last time I went there the same thing they said the script wasn't called in so ona Friday night at 630 I had to call the doctor on call . Walgreens told me their phones weren't working to call it in . While I was there I had the doctor on my cell and they refused to take the order it was for antibiotics not like it was OxyContin wtf They just don't give a dam read more

When I find a Walgreens that has friendly helpful staff and pharmacy technicians that are knowledgeable I'm going to shout it from the rooftops I found it here!! They had a product I was buying marked wrong they gave it to me at the discounted price with no drama or dirty looks associated with it. I'll be back!!! An okay location. Parking lot was big. Plenty of spaces and all not too far walking distance from door. Route 5 makes it a bit difficult to get in and out of. Staff was pleasant, but did not stand out. We mostly went in for express photos that we ordered online, but while we were in we looked at prices. A basic convenience/drug store with similar prices and nothing that really stands out. If you live in the area and need medicine or express photos, you are good to go. If you come here for groceries or deodorant, expect to pay a bit extra. read more

If I could give a lower rating for the Pharmacy if I could. I just switched to them inJanuary because my insurance would no longer cover CVS. I tried to fill a prescription today that I got at my Colonoscopy this morning. They didn't have the medicine to fill my prescription and said they were too busy to check with other Walgreens in the area. They told me to check. The result was the same at the other local Walgreens ... although North Haven was worse . I just moved my business to Rite Aid. Still waiting for Walgreens to return Rite Aids call with the necessary information do my prescription can be filled. My recommendation ... STAY far away from Walgreens Pharmacy. read more
