This establishment gives me goosebumps. They have huge boxes of cereal laxatives. There's birdseed and adult male diapers, My old lady wears diapers too and they have a huge box that's her size. Review for the gas station only: efficient experience with a lot lower priced gas than Cali, mainly because it wasn't as busy. Yelp will not let people write a review for the Costco Gas station at this location (which is not particularly close to the actual store). I did successfully create a 'new' entry, and even got the confirmation email from Yelp stating it was approved. But as I am writing this, I noticed that they moved my review to the Costco Wholesale nearby...I wonder why that is the case...just continuing to learn the 'quirks' of Yelp. In terms of the experience to fill up our rental car, this location has 3 islands with two pumps each, for a total of 12 nozzles (cars filling up concurrently). It just must not get THAT busy here, since the waiting area can support 3 cars waiting in each of the 6 queues. It also helps a lot that the pumps are far from the main store, keeping the gas station traffic separate from the store's...google maps will take you right there. It's a lot better set-up than our normal stops in California. When we got there, the line was 2 cars deep and we were in/out quickly (used the one-tap citi cc to validate membership and pay). Probably too quick since we had to pass the car in front of us who finished filling up before us, but inexplicably did not drive off for a bit, messing up the cadence of the cars. read more

I shop at Costco Wholesale every week and usually spend $400-$500. Prime ribeye is one of the main items I buy regularly. On my last visit, I saw a sign showing the ribeye at $14.99/lb instead of $19.99/lb. When I asked the cashier about it, she called another employee. He came over with a very aggressive attitude, as if he wanted to hit me, and insinuated that I had placed the sign there myself. I understand that pricing mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if he had explained the situation politely. Instead, his behavior made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe, so I left quick with what I paid and without my ribeye, As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with respect. read more

We love Costco! We have had a membership since we bought our own place. It makes a huge difference in our budget having stockpiles now that we have closets and a basement to store items. They have a great selection of items that change every time we go. The lines may be long however they go extremely fast with their knowledgeable staff. I should have taken a picture of our cart when we here last to show the variety of products we get from food to household to clothing. From the IG Costco accounts I follow, we saw they exchanged their churro in the cafe for a $2 XL chocolate chip cookie. It's served warm. It's delicious. It rivals the ever popular cookie shop just up the street for half the price. My husband loves the pepperoni pizza slices to go. read more

Parking is horrible and negotiating the store is just as bad. Food sample stations situated in the worst places so you can't get through the lines. Employees trying to 'upgrade' your card while you are trying to check out and they won't take no for an answer. Now the cashiers stand and watch you repack your carts after checking out. I go only when I really have to and always come out with a headache. Miss Sams club, a much better shopping experience all around. read more

What a complete 180 from the Norwalk Costco location! I frequently visit the Norwalk location because it's close to where I live, but Milford is way better -- parking isn't nearly as chaotic. It was nice to see the old Costco wholesale warehouse stocked from floor to ceiling like in the old days. There is a great selection and an excellent variety of amazing new items. Unfortunately, the incredible prices have also gone up significantly. There seems to be enough staff working on the floor who are helpful and knowledgeable. Do not purchase tires at Costco. I purchaed 4 new tires fro Cistco in December. Two months latetI had a flat and upon putting on a spare, I drove to Costco. Subsequently, I was told that I would need a new tire. I have been waiting for 3 days. And I've not been able to leave the house because I don't want to drive on a spare. I love COSTCO. However, do NOT attempt to go there on a Saturday. It is insanely busy, and the parking lot is a mess! With that said, Costco always has the best snacks and clothing, and I love their wine! Plan to spend $$$ when you come here. They have a lot of good deals on things you didn't know you even needed, LOL! I bought a $1,100 dishwasher from Costco, and it has been an awful experience. Costco partners with horrible 3rd party installers, one of whom installed it incorrectly twice. First, it leaked. Second, they drove a 4-inch screw into and through a cabinet, fixing a drawer shut. So I had to pay out of pocket to have it properly installed, and the unit is dead 2 years later (just outside of the warranty). Costco won't do anything to help, so I've been stuck dealing with the manufacturer, who also won't do anything. So two years later, I'm buying a brand new dishwasher to replace the expensive lemon Costco sold me. I would not recommend buying anything from this Costco that needs to be installed. read more

Costco is fantastic price wise. For the value and for bulk shopping you cannot go wrong. I would suggest, if you go here, put aside some time. I am not talking about hours but more then five or ten minutes. It is huge. There is alot to see. Lines can sometimes be long. When it gets crowded it can get hot inside. I have to compliment one of the managers whose name I forgot to get. We overheard him welcoming a new employee and he was so nice! The person I was with thought so too. Customer service/ renewals and membership staff here were down right rude, and soooo slow. The women I had to deal with, proceeded to carry on conversations with the rest of the staff while ignoring the customers in front of her, therefor making me and the rest of the customers have to go through the card information process 3 times by repeating ourselves until she paid attention long enough to put it in the computer. Had she done her job and taken the information the first time the lines would not be as long as they always are. She walked away from the register several times to move the fan, complain about the sticky floor with her coworker in the returns section, etc. She then proceeded to yell over my head at a cashier on the floor about her leaving her sweater there the night before! Give me a break!! YOU'RE ENTIRE JOB IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I stood in that line for a half hour and then had to stand in front her for another 20 minutes to complete one membership. She also walked away in the middle of the transaction to get a cart for the returns leaving me there wondering what the heck was going on. For all I knew she was going on her lunch break. I am very dissatisfied, and disappointed with Costco Online. I ordered a mens cologne and they sent me a women's perfume different brand, which isn't even showed in the website. When I called them to issue a complaint, they blamed UPS. This is a very weird situation. I couldn't return the perfume to the store warehouse, since they did not have the perfume in their system. Loosing my seventy dollars. Overall, this is the first time I've had a problem with buying online from Costco. And to me, that is enough. read more

This is a great Costco , it has it all, gas station, hearing aids, glasses, etc. I got my hearing aids here and by far they had the best price . They also service the hearing aids and have the best price on batteries. They have the best price and taste on rotisserie chicken. Every time I come here I always get at least one. They are huge and only cost $5. I also love to sample all the products that they offer throughout the store. This gives you a chance to try something before you buy it. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is the fact there are a lot of brands and items I use; they do not carry. Plus the store is so big, it's hard to find items and a lot of the help, don't know where it is either. The other issue is parking becomes difficult during their busy times . read more

One thing that many people do not know is that it is illegal to have special members-only pricing on alcohol in Connecticut. This means that I (a non Costco member) can still purchase alcohol at Costco at the same prices as their members. As many people know, they actually have very high quality Costco brand alcohol. O.K. Who does not know or have shopped at COSTCO? Show of hands please... As expected, I see none. If you can get by the whole parking thing, you'll be O.K. Hundreds of cars ALL OVER THE PLACE. I have just learned to either sit in one spot for a few minutes or go directly to the furtherest point and park my car... Either way, it will be no easy task. Just about anything and everything you could ask for to run a household all under one [really big roof.] I have always been a fan of COSTCO and for good reason They have good products and are willing to standing behind them. The store is HUGE and no matter how big it is people are still moving around slowly because there is just no place to go. I think they did a great job after their expansion which certainly opened the isles up a bit. If you're going to store milk and eggs, you might as well do it in a walk in refrigerator. The only ting I hd to learn was how to buy for a family of 12 while mine was only four. But you learn, you buy a bigger refrigerator and a freezer. My cost savings have paid for these many times over. Just owning a COSTCO card to buy gas is a plus. It doesn't take much to save $50 when your paying .10 cents less a gallon. I have always been impressed with the Kirkland brand and more than one it has offered substantial savings over the national brand. I recently ordered a Dell Laptop at Costco online because that model wasn't available in the store. Costco online charged me $15 to ship it to the Milford store. There was no option to ship it to my home. Of course, I had to go and pick it up. This is poor business and customer relations. I won't be ordering anything from Costco online in the future. read more
