Wow, this place is AMAZING compared to the disgusting filthy disorganized incompetent Walgreens I've gone to in the past few weeks in failed attempts to get flu vaccines. It's clean and brightly lit, with clear signs telling you where to stand in line. They have the usual selection of drugstore items, and you can also drop off your online shopping returns. If you need a Walgreens, definitely go to this one instead of the ones in Minneapolis or Hopkins. read more

I will not go back ever to the Wayzata Walgreens. Very poor people skills. Always rushed so most of the people in the pharmacy are rude and not helpful. While I was there today two separate women were battling their cases. One woman said she would never come back as she walked by me. Another lady had waited 45 minutes for a prescription and I do not know the specifics but she was told she had to be in line again. The pharmacist today was belligerent and the gal behind the counter was dismissive. read more

I honestly don't know why I still went here after years of bad experiences. That was my fault. But I finally switched. This is one of the most understaffed pharmacies. For example, I wrote this while I was on hold for 22 minutes and it then sat in my drafts until my next long wait. Their drive through is 9 times out of 10 a waste of time. They don't encourage people to wait in a parking spot. I've gotten blocked in a couple times and ended up calling them while sitting in my car, and asking them to ask the a-hole in front of me to wait in his car somewhere else. I've gotten out of my car once and asked someone to back up so I could continue on with my life and get out of the line. I've even had a friend of mine jump out of the car and go into the store while I was in line for drive through to see how long the line was inside. Forget it. I use drive through because I have kids... sleeping babies and toddlers. Again, I know this is my fault for expecting different results every month. My last straw was last month, when I dropped my monthly prescription off. The gal said she had it in stock, and I got a text message that night saying they were out of stock. Their automated system said they would get in touch when it's in. Unacceptable when health care is what it is and hitting your deductible has recently become an accomplishment or something you talk about in a similar tone as hitting a hole in one. I ended up getting a hold of them, they rechecked and ended up having my RX in stock after all! Their mistake could have made me miss my window for end of the year covered Rx. Everyone is very kind, but I don't know why they don't hire more people to help them out. read more

THEY TRULY SUCK!! yes they get my prescriptions but is it ever on time? no! i am a type 1 diabetic, my prescriptions are never ready when they say they are. they don't ever answer their phone the lines are always basically through the door. i'm so sick of this pharmacy, i've been treated so poorly by many pharmacy workers, basically being treated as if i'm stupid. i use to go to CVS and i had much better experiences with them vs walgreens in wayzata. my prescription was supposed to be ready 5 hours ago, i get to the pharmacy and it's not even filled yet. i am so sick of waiting on this pharmacy everytime im here. Other than one wonderful all-star in the pharmacy (who is the only carry-over from "I-wish-Wolfs Pharmacy-was-back") - the rest of the place is a disaster. I can't even begin to count the number of times I have waited in that drive-through line (and only 3 cars deep) and each time, its been an eternity. In fact, on more two recent occasions, my wait was so long that by the time I got up to the window of wonderment: 1) my car ran out of gas, 2) my clothes went out of style, and 3) a cure had been discovered for what was ailing me during my wait. read more

Every time I have been here I have had issues I've never experienced at other pharmacies, whether it's them saying they haven't received the renewal though my doctor confirmed sending it, telling me my insurance doesn't cover generic when that is all I have gotten from other places, I have been repeatedly disappointed and walked out empty handed from this pharmacy. read more

Consistently horrendous Pharmacy experience. The problems are almost too numerous to summarize. - The drive thru and in-store counter are inexplicably closed on seemingly a random basis during regular pharmacy "open" hours - Prescriptions NEVER ready when they say they will be. "Come back in 15 minutes" is the standard deflection...but usually still not ready 6 hours later. - General air of panic and confusion radiates from pharmacy staff - 11 cars in drive thru line, i timed 10 minutes per customer minimum, many more than 15 minutes...this indicates that they are filling the prescriptions when customer pulls up vs in advance. - Repeated confusion with doctor authorization and insurance, yet my insurance and prescriptions haven't changed in years and my doctor says they have always provided authorization ( when Walgreens claims they haven't). - This really is a travesty. Basic processes are obviously broken...customers, employees and community deserve better. read more

Pharmacy is as slow as advertised in other reviews--and not in a way that makes sense. I get that a busy store can keep people busy. But in the most recent instance I waited 5+ minutes in front of an empty window to do a pick-up while a half dozen pharmacy staff were doing other things and, at least a few chit chatted in the back. A simple pick-up shouldn't be delayed. The extra star is for the rest of the store and otherwise pleasant interactions. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER! My prescription was sent in days ago and they still hadn't filled it, I need to go in person for them to fill it, and even then they took 40 minutes to do so. Go to a Costco pharmacy or Walmart pharmacy, 100 times better. read more

Liked it better in the old location; it was more charming. Product selection is excellent and service is okay. Drive-thru is prompt. Pharmacists are helpful though there have been quite a few errors from the transition. read more

Next time I'll make my purchase at Target!!! Why, because when you purchase a item you expect you can return it when it's unopened and not used. I didn't have my receipt but I charged the $15.99 on Visa Flexperks. Clear as day on my phone. But sorry sir, we can't refund your money on Visa but we will give you a gift card( I don't want a gift card} and keep your money. Explained that I can purchase at Best Buy, Target etc. and they refund the money right back in the account. While I live and work in WAYZATA, CVS is close and that where I'll go plus telling friends and associates about this unfortunate experience. Calling the pharmacy is not a good decision. Have a prescription or question about it? You basically wait on the phone for over 15 minutes for a couple of questions to get answered; also the recorded voice reminder occurs every 15 seconds. The drive-thru isn't ideal for a quick "pick-up". Regarding calling the pharmacy, your call may be next in line but you're sometimes put off and need to call again. You'd be better off going inside to get service... The staff is awesome but not really organized. This place is so-so. read more

Wow. Every experience I've had trying to get prescriptions filled here has been bad. I will never go back. Prior auth was faxed to completely wrong Doctor (someone I've never seen or heard of). I was told by nice pharmacy tech this mistake went through 3 pharmacy staff without being caught. I would probably still be waiting if I hadn't called my Doctor and discovered they hadn't received any prior auth request. Go to Walgreens in Excelsior at highway 7 and 101 instead. They have always been great! read more

Pharmacy consistently slow to the point where I'm thinking about switching pharmacies. I haven't had this experience with any other Walgreens location. Over and over again I've had to kill time when my prescription has been with them for hours and sometimes even a day or more. With their already limited hours, it's becoming a really inconvenient place to have prescriptions sent. read more
