I have been a Walgreens customer for 40 years. I appreciate the RX drive-thru. I have no complaints about any of the staff except for one cashier; name unknown. I have noticed during my last few trips that this cashier is openly hostile to me. I have no idea why. I have gone into the store l/2 dozen times this summer for water. I buy 4 quarts at a time. Last week she rang up the 4 bottles and just stood there. I asked her if she would put them in bags as they are too heavy to carry to the car. I heard a hiss when she complied. On a first Tuesday of the month I purchased some things and asked her if she gave me the senior discount. She bit my head off. She actually yelled "It's in there." I have been patient and not said anything but did my best to ignore her rudeness. Today was the last straw. I picked up the 4 bottles and carried them to her counter. She became all irate because I placed the heavy bottles on the counter. There was a man in front of me and I was not in his space at all and the counter is big so what is the problem? She was unhinged. She rolled her eyes at the customer like I was a big problem. This was so humiliating especially because she had no problem berating me in front of a witness. I asked her why she was being so rude. She replied, "every time you come in here there is some problem." My head was spinning from the gaslighting. I really was in shock. I have no idea what she is talking about and the other cashiers are always so pleasant that I was stunned. She said something about 4 years ago I asked to see the manager. I had a question about the pharmacy but I don't remember what it was. I do recall asking her for the information and she told me to ask the manager. I am now wondering how long she has been harboring a grudge against me. She is not well. She kept running her insane mouth while I just wanted my water. I couldn't stand another moment of her abuse and told her to STFU. She really flipped out then --- "You aren't getting any water". "Nobody tells me to STFU." " Get out of MY STORE!!!." I am still shaking as I write this 2 hours later. I can hardly believe that this really happened. She kept running her mouth and as I left she said, "go sit in your car and play cards." I went to my car in utter shock. Go play cards in your car??? Is this person having a mental breakdown and blaming me that she is a cashier in her old age? I do not know her name or anything about her. It is obvious that she is consumed by rage at me or someone who looks like me and I have no idea why. I do know this. I am 77 years old and if this lunatic thinks that it is OK to take her anger and frustration out on me, she is crazier than she acts and dumber than she looks. After about an hour, I was able to phone the store and asked for the manager. "SHE" answered. Three times I asked for the manager's name and 3 times she said, "I already called my boss and told him what happened." Well, as long as SHE told her boss, I guess everything is OK. She refused to tell me the manager's name, and before she hung up on me, she said, "I hope you. have a good life." This woman is certifiable. Who behaves that way? I feel so angry about her unprovoked, and outrageous attack on me. Tomorrow I will transfer my RX's to Safeway. I do not need Walgreens. The only good thing about them is the drive-thru. I will contact the manager tomorrow. Corporate will know too. read more

Whilst waiting in line four days ago for a prescription, I overheard Jessica in the pharmacy on the phone with a customer inquiring about their prescription. After Jessica got of phone, she said "jesus christ, someone get me a drink, in between his coughing the wife nagging and the kids in the background I couldn't deal with him" "so annoying, can you believe it? How do you expect me to help you when you're coughing all over the phone". This was extremely unprofessional, especially when you're meant to be assisting the sick. Also to be saying it in front of ten people in the line, truly lets us know how you feel about your customers health. Wont be dealing with these guys anymore especially when all of her co workers just stood around saying nothing and allowed her to continue talking trash about a customer in front. of customers. Sylvester is the best point I came in at 8:45 this morning to pick up graduation announcements and he was in the middle of a restocking the coolers because the people who were supposed to come and clean the floor never showed up. He was the utmost professional so accommodating and just genuinely wonderful. read more

We have been to this Walgreens a dozen or so times, when we visit Whitefish. They always have the friendliest and most welcoming staff. I haven't seen the lady that invited us over this past year for a Christmas dinner. I hope to see her again. read more

Usually I just use what ever Pharmacy is close to my home. Which happens to be Walgreens. My insurance raised the price on my plan, so I had to go with a lower cost plan. To my dismay they refuse close to every medication I am on. However, Emily who works in the pharmacy took time out of her busy day to find me a way to get my insulin less expensive. No employer told her to do it. She just did it because, obviously she is a great person with empathy and you don't see much of that anymore- Walgreens in Whitefish MT is very luck to have this employee. Walgreens was my go to pharmacy. Over the last 3 years they have put customer service on the back burner. I have waited in lines forever just to find out when I got to the front that my scripts were not ready and would not be ready for an hour. (After it was called in 4 hours earlier) Then I called on the phone to see if they were ready and was told it would be another hour. I told her that I was unhappy with their service and she said "That's Fine" I will bring my business elsewhere after nearly 20 years with Walgreens. I do not recommend them for your pharmacy needs! This Walgreens sells stuff; also things. In addition to the stuff and things, this store also has an amount of food stuffs and drink, to include beer. The Walgreens is conveniently located next to two petroleum depots, which makes it easy to stop in after topping off my American automobile. Purchasing items here is always an experience; and not a negative one. read more

Just stopped by to pick up a few essentials while on vacation. Typical Walgreens store. Friendly cashier and easy to get in and out.

I filled a prescription by phone. The automated system verified the type of medicine plus said 90 day supply. When I picked up my prescription it was only a 30 day supply. Not a huge deal, but the prescription was now expired (though valid when I called) and my doctor is no longer practicing here. I was told I was at fault for not speaking with a pharmacist despite that the system confirmed it was a 90 day supply. Where on anything I get does it day that?! She accepted no responsibility (blamed the system which she claims they can't change) nor even said sorry. She was like- well you've got 30 days to find a new doctor and get a new prescription...she just forgot one part- I've also got 30 days to find a new pharmacy because I won't be returning due to your lack of customer and your inferior system. read more
