This has got to be the slowest drive thru in the chain, you better have an extra half hour

This pharmacy staff are unprofessional, they mention that some medication cannot be released via drive-thru. So if you go inside they don't have it completed and they will re-shelf your medicine if you wait for the next day. The staff will say you have to talk to the pharmacist for release. when the pharmacist shows up and talk to you. They mention that there is no reason for them to talk to you on the medication. If you have been taken a long term medication (5years+)they randomly tell you that they cannot release your medication and to call your doctor office And when you talk to your doctors office, they say there's no restrictions. They don't know why they were not released. How do we get some customers training for this location!!!! read more

I can't quite figure out why the drive thru takes so long. You can be waiting there for a half an hour. But when you go inside you can be in and out in five minutes. read more

This refers to ONLY this particular Walgreens. Just make it up as you go along If you can, AVOID and go to 855 Colusa Walgreens. May be a rougher area, but the pharmacists are consistent and do not add rules/requirements on their own volition. Background Info: The Walgreens in question operates procedurally according to the corporate (and DEA) rules in place, with probably input from other experts in the field. This is great as just as it should be. Watching things change (fairly closely since 2003, where it started getting out of control), this is completely appropriate because there is a bigger issue at play. As a matter of fact, Walgreens as a whole (Florida being one of the epicenters) played a huge role due to their lack of discretion. So now they are trying to do right. Note that new guidelines came furiously, which did harm some folks, but likely stopped A LOT of the indiscretion. These rules are abundant, detailed, and there to keep everyone safe, when it boils down to it. I've never seen anything quite like it, but they are very inclusive of virtually all situations. But now, we have stores with pharmacies who are making their own additional rules. This is when things become arbitrary and it's ultimately very harmful as people then start feeling that maybe all of these rules are arbitrary. The unintended consequences usually can end up in a whole roll back of the legitimate rules just because these made up rules became such a burden to everyone that unanimously, all people find the balance to be out of whack. So, I would stay away from this particular pharmacy. I don't really know where they believe that they know some thing that even other Walgreens stores don't know. Additionally, they are just out there doing their own thing and putting undue burden on people. It's just a shame because I hate to put down Walgreens, but keep in mind it is only this Walgreens, but the Walgreens in South Yuba city has the same disease; go it alone and do your own thing. Super disrespectful pharmacist staff. I asked kindly regarding my order and got an attitude and rude lecture of them not excepting new customers. When in fact i was in the past. I was fine with being told they couldn't help me bit i did not need the unkind attitude when I'm already stressed enough. After this interaction i can see why i did change pharmacies. Heads up if your already not well and just want to be able to be treated with dignity don't even waste your time here. I rather wait on back ordered medication then ever give them any support in their business. read more

I went one day after the doctor sent my prescriptions calling before to be sure they were ready. There was no big line inside but a long line at the drive thru and I cashier taking care of both registers, she told me to wait a moment, she was very efficient and nice to both windows, she was confident and kind. read more

This photo department sucks. They ignore the hell out of you. Every time I'm there I have to stand and wait upwards of ten minutes to even be acknowledged. Today, the lady behind the counter was pretending not to see me as she used the photo printing machine in the back. I stood there patiently and even though she was pretty much facing me, she didn't greet me or stop what she was doing. Whatever, I thought, she's probably working on something with a time constraint. Then another staff member walked up behind the counter and looked through me, as in also pretended not to see me. I said hello to him hoping that he would help, and without acknowledging me, he called for the woman in the back to come help me. They're anal retentive about printing photos off of discs without a copyright waiver and will walk away as you're trying to print something on one of the machines. You will sit and sit and sit as a million people walk by ignoring your pleas for assistance. "I'll grab someone to help you", they'll say. And you will continue to sit and wait. I've waited so long that I have even called them, as I'm standing at the photo counter, to tell someone to come help me. It's that bad. When they FINALLY come to help, they are not sorry that you waited. On the contrary, they are snarky and short with you. Gah! The only reason I come here is that it's easy to print photos from my phone and I live really close. The rest of the store is like any other Walgreens. read more

Regarding Covid shots, this is the Most disorganized store ever for Covid shots, should be ashamed of yourself for treating seniors like that, having them stand in line & Wait for hours, you make appointments which are useless, waited over 2 hours, your banking in on this Covid shot, too few employees doing shots, it's not like the first day of giving shots, you should have this dow better, I would Not recommend this store for anything, no organization, poor information, lack of signs, they should get out of Covid vaccine business & sell burritos on the corner!! read more

Everytime I call the pharmacy, I get hung up on at least 3 times before someone with half a damn brain answers the phone and absolutely cannot help me. Even other Walgreens have told me how insanely unhelpful all their pharmacy staff is. Good luck getting your prescriptions here read more

This pharmacy provides terrible service. My doctor transmitted a prescription at 2:15 today. I went at 3 to pick it up. It wasn't ready but I was told it would be ready in an hour. I just returned at 5:15 and was told it still wasn't ready. They asked me to come back. I said no. They asked me to go to the end of the drive- through lane. I said no. They were cars behind me. Within 2 minutes my prescription was ready. But it's too late. I'm moving my prescription business to Franklin Pharmacy. read more

Walgreens has a convenient drive thru pharmacy and friendly staff in all departments. They are great for convenience items and have a good price On milk which we are always running out of at our house. The only thing I would change about this location is having extended pharmacy hours. Otherwise I find this store to be fabulous! read more

I was very happy with the pharmacy until yesterday I had to pick up insulin for my wife and I had switched insurance because they were not taking the one we had the copay was $431 instead of telling me to use another pharmacy that took the new insurance where the copay would have been a lots less I had to pay. I can kind of understand what the other reviewer is saying. The photo department is really bad 90% of the time. The manager really needs to get the employees to check if there are customers waiting more than once every 10 minutes (aka turn around) and to greet them, and explain that they are caught up with something and will take a few more seconds if they're busy. I worked in the photo dept. at other walgreens and would have had my 5'2" manager kick my a$$ if I acted the way they do. Once they finally are helping you they tend to be pretty good but just don't have good communication skills. Oh well :/ Oh and bring back film developing! read more
