Had a completely different experience with Pelican Pawn in Baton Rouge. she added "it's too cheap" as I was walking out as well. nice way to greet customers. probably should think about new management, or better yet- a management training class. Well I walked to the pawn shop to look at guns and tools amongst other things just looking mainly. Well after looking at tools and guns I purchased a Porter Cable tools set. It was a drill, a bag, flashlight, trim nail gun battery operated and I believe the last one was a sawzall? When I seen the bag on the shelf it had a flashlight and a trimnail gun in it. When I went to the counter I had all the items in the bag. I had put the other two in there, they were two shelves down by themselves. I told the owner at the counter that I want all of these items and he can have the flashlight back if you want it. I put it next to him. They told me $220 and paid him. Shopped for over an hour there. While I shopped, the helper (we will call him RAINMAN)got aggravated at me probably because I looked at a few different guns and probably assumed I wasn't going to buy anything or I had rushed out the house this morning for my dentist appointment and was dressed like a bum. Well He did not want to hand me the AR one time and he fussed me!! He told me not to take it apart in the store?? And I told him not to insult me and knew that He treated me like I knew nothing about gun etiquette l He was disrespectful. I told "RainMan" about himself and he argued with me that he was a good Customer Service person, LoL Go Figure. Well after the purchase I asked the owner to put my tools back in the bag. Well he didn't so I did. I probably stayed there for a good 10 minutes after and while I was standing there at the counter I asked "RainMan" a question. While up there "RainMan" started saying the drill isn't mine and proceeded to pull the drill that I just purchased out of my bag and was saying that this item doesn't go with this bundle!?!?!? Well, "RainMan" was taking it out of my bag, lol I grabbed my tool as well. So "RainMan" and I were both pulling over the drill. Now "RainMan"is kind of old and grumpy so when I was pulling I was not pulling with all my might. But I fell short today God, I apologize, I did get great satisfaction in pissing "RainMan"the hell off during this episode. He proceeded to start screaming help!! help!! help!! He's stealing!! Now I'm sorry but "RainMan" looked like he was trying out for a part on a "Soap Opera" It was Soo "Fake". "RainMan was so Dramatic!! LMFAO Now the owner started coming up. The Owner(we'll call him "Boss" was nonchalant saying something like "Oh we can't have this going on in here." I thought that "Boss" was talking to "RainMan" because "RainMan" took it out of "my" bag!! But NO!! "Boss" was telling "ME ", "Your Stealing!! Get out of here!!" Now I don't even think I had left the counter but I know the Bag with tools has never left the counter since I purchased it and "I" DID NOT put anything IN to the BAG that i didn't buy. Also it had been about 10 minutes after the purchase and was talking to"RainMan" Now FIRST, I DO NOT STEAL!!! SECOND, I never knew they had bundles??? THIRD, It is your store how am I supposed to know that they have bundles if you don't even know????? FOURTH, You are taking MY PROPERTY!! I PAID FOR ALL OF THEM!! BOTH OF YOU SEEN AND TOUCHED THEM ALL!!! I WANTED EVERYTHING!!! I SHOWED BOTH "OWNER" and "RAINMAN"!!!! In the past I have done a lot of business with "Gold'N'Guns" I have NEVER had this happen!??!? BUT, The Father who used to run it passed awayGood Man!! As I realized he was talking to me Boss took the bag went to the register and started giving me my money back. Then he starts hollering at me and telling me I'm stealing, while "RainMan" is threatening to call the cops on me, while I'm trying to explain to them that I had no clue that it was a bundle!?!?! I would even pay for extra item, which I really should not have to do. I understand people sometimes make mistakes but as far as I'm concerned when I get treated like this for what looked like miscommunication YOU HAVE TO BE CRAZY IF YOU THINK I WOULD NOT POST THIS ON EVERY DIFFERENT REVIEW I POSSIBLY CAN!!!! BY THE WAY YOUR SECURITY TAPE WILL PLAY THE SAME STORY!!! This was Soo upsetting and such a horrible experience that I could not stop thinking about it, I feel like I was discriminated against because I looked poor!!!!
