I had a photo shoot with Giedre. This was my first professional photo shoot and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous and a bit intimidated. I've seen Giedre's body of work before the shoot, so I knew I was in good hands, but I was still uncertain about stepping in front of the lens. All worries were for nothing though! Working with Giedre turned out to be a blast. She was very professional and patient with me even when I felt lost with what to do next, or what pose would look good on film. Years spent watching ANTM didn't seem to help at all. Tyra would have been disappointed. However, Giedre's clear direction and posing tips helped us get some great pictures I am proud to share. My husband and I were so pleased with the quality and professionalism of Walking Dot Photography. Not only is Giedre talented and appropriate, but she made us feel instantly at ease with demeanor, which was laid back, friendly, and encouraging. My husband and I had our one year anniversary photos taken by Giedre, and I could not have been more impressed the results! She selected an awesome location in Chicago and took the pictures in a wide variety of settings and poses. The worst part of our experience was having to choose our favorite photos at the end - there were just too many that we loved! Not only did she take wonderful photos, but Giedre was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Gorgeous photos! We hired Giedre for family photos this fall during a mini session. She replied to emails quickly during the planning phase and post-session phases (I had lots of questions and she quickly answered them). She was wonderful to work with and we had so many gorgeous photos to choose from. She got our 4 month smiling, even though she was sleepy and starting to get a little cranky. The prices were reasonable and the turnaround time was a couple weeks - which is great considering it was a busy time of year. We just received the prints we ordered in the mail. Her service doesn't start and end with the photo shoot. Giedre sends out a letter prior to the shoot, giving recommendations on clothing, colors, and accessories to wear to the shoot. She is prompt in editing the photos--my husband and I were able to view a few on Facebook the day of the shoot! My wife and I asked Giedre to take pictures of our family (two of us plus one infant son). She met us in some places around the city that have a special meaning to us and went above and beyond to make sure that we liked the pictures. Giedre photographed one of my first shoots, a couple of Februarys ago in Boston. I wasn't prepared for the weather (a bizarre, unseasonable downpour of rain), but she showed up to the shoot with this awesome transparent bubble umbrella that she'd bought on the way, and we had a blast!
