His reception photography was particularly impressive--he photographed us in low lighting, so he used external flash to avoid blurry photos, but the end results looked as crisp and clear and not overblown as those from earlier in the day. Brian answered our questions thoroughly and patiently, smiling every second. He was so approachable and easy to talk to. He was also incredibly funny, which took the awkwardness away when it came time for taking the engagement photos. He has an open door policy, and always made himself available to respond to emails, phone calls, and in person visits. We didn't have to lay out a detailed list of the shots we wanted - he just understands what you need and does it. He anticipates what you want. Our photos weren't those cheesy staged pictures that you often see. They were candid shots of us having the time of our lives. They were amazing! The lighting was incredible as well. Most of our reception was in really dark light, but the photos turned out so crisp and clear. Even with the glow sticks that we pulled out later in the evening. He is truly talented! We received our photos just four short weeks after the wedding. In the meantime, he sent us "sneak peaks" to get us excited about what was to come. I'd highly recommend Brian. She told us exactly what to do! I am not used to having professional photos taken of me and felt it would be awkward- but that was not the case at all! She told us exactly what to do with our hands and where to look- and took us to several locations all over the venue to make sure we got amazing shots! She made sure to let us know how much time remained so we could get additional pictures of friends and family it was amazing to have someone so on top of it! I also really appreciated Rae's honesty! My feet were killing me the day of my wedding and I took off my shoes for some photos and she made sure to position me in certain ways so you couldn't tell, and if I did look awkward she made sure to keep it real with me so I would love how the photos turned out! **SCAMMER ALERT**…read more Until last few weeks she was in hospital sick confirming she will give my money back for the service she couldn't provide because of her sickness and now all of a sudden she says that goes towards a retainer fee. Everything was a lie from the beginning and I fell for it! I paid her upfront without even confirming dates because I was so excited as this was my first time working with a professional photographer. The conversation on when and how the photo session was going to take place was never clear but I still chose to trust. In my case, photographer constantly stated she was sick and couldn't do the session on original set date. She even texted around 2:00am on the week of photo session to notify how sick she was and it is better to reschedule. So in order to avoid risk to a newborn, i had to say we will do next time and waited for this woman to recover and set different dates. However, I never got updated date and time or any other information. Then I asked for a refund, which she ignored at first but later after warning on fraud claim, she stated refund will be issued once she got better with sickness. Refund was never issued and upon several texts and weeks of trying to follow up and get refunded, she today responded saying money went towards retainer fee! My money is being taken as a retainer fee for photographer's personal reasons and now benefit as such fees in my case is not applicable at all. What can I say as i never thought i will get scammed like this. My hard earned money was robbed! All I can do is leave this review and hope that nobody else will be scammed like me. Save your precious moments and money for someone trustworthy even if you've to pay little extra. Please don't trust the prior positive reviews. They might be true back then but not current. AVOID!

Johnny knows exactly how to put clients at ease and is a wonderful conversationalist; he was able to guide me as a novice model without being condescending or pushy. He has done a good deal of acting himself, so he understands how to get effective pictures out of actors. He gave me objectives to work with as he shot, which is brilliant. When it came to delivering the photos, he was incredibly quick. I have never gotten headshots back in less than 3 days. He has also been a reliable source to me since for any residual needs: prints, retouching, replacement discs, etc. He is someone I would recommend (and have recommended) to absolutely everyone.
