They called me back at 2:55,. I told them we should be there in about 10/15 minutes. Office person said if you are 10 minutes late we will have to reschedule. I begged her. She said well let's see. We got to the building at 3:05. I ran into building and asked front desk 208 podiatry. He gave me directions. Got to where he said. Guess what no podiatry in this building. Next one over. Called them at 312 and said we went to wrong building. She said well it's too late. We will have to reschedule. I told her I had already pre-registered. Sorry too late. So ridiculous. I am sure I probably would still be sitting in waiting room if I had been on time. Things happen. I do not know what the drs are like but their office people have no empathy. I have an infection in my foot. Diabetes and neuropathy. But oh well too bad. I am sure they will get the money from insurance. They already got my 50.00 co pay! Never again!

Went to Orthowell for PT after a right foot injury. The types of therapy Chris used really helped…read moreto loosen the muscles in my calf that were affecting my foot and the tendons. The laser helped with tendonitis and the touch of plantar fasciitis that affected me. I still use the simple devices that the practice keeps on hand to sell to patients: a roller for muscles, Thera-bands, and a wedge to stretch achilles. I was taught that stretching is the most important thing to do on a regular, if not daily, basis to avoid injuries. Last, but definitely not the least, Chris made me orthotics that actually work for me. My long relationship with orthotics has been rocky, at best. I have been wearing the one's Chris made since June of 2016 and they are the most successful I have had in a long time. High scores for Chris and Matt who assisted me with much of my therapy. I've been to Coastal Orthopedic for two different reasons…read more The first was tennis elbow which they took care of and I haven't had a problem or any pain since! it's been about 2-2 1/2 years. Dr. Merlin was awesome! My second time was for my knee, torn meniscus. I had it repaired and had no problem so far (2 days will be a month since the surgery) with the surgery. It's healed great, minimal pain and bruising. Still going to PT and will be out of work for another month but no complaints about any of it!! Dr. Schyeler was amazing! Appointment scheduling is very flexible I will give them that. We are now on week 3 with no up date but it shipped. I'm sure she could easily look up tracking numbers but why would she try to improve her customer service when it seems like she does not want to be there anyway. This is a standard that needs to be changed do not say you be will be back in two weeks to pick up the brace when in all reality you will not .After we receive the brace we will be switching to a different orthotic provider just to make sure things are done in a timely and efficient manner also to not have to deal with a rude receptionist.

Avoid - they do not follow the orthopedic doctors prescription…read more My orthopedic surgeon wrote a script for rigid orthotics since I tore my posterior tibialis. I sent the script to Cornell Orthotics (Beverly) and setup an appointment. Since Cornell had made orthotics for me years ago (which were NOT rigid), I emailed them if they would make rigid orthotics as the doctor prescribed. No response. I asked via email again. Still no response. A third time, no response but they wanted to confirm my appointment. Note, their only on-site orthotist in Beverly was on this email thread but would not respond to my question. The orthotics he made and charged me $400 for were flexible and equivalent to what you'd buy online for a 1/10 of the price (see their $400 orthotic). I will not go back there again and do not recommend them.
