I feel the front office staff are pretty friendly folks and probably get tired of my calls, asking for a manager. As it seems no one except the elusive Mgr. can help. Don't expect much help and you won't be disappointed. They did finally get an exterminator over here 10 days after I reported a serious mice problem... on my third day of being here mice were suddenly everywhere! If I could give a negative star I would but this company has been and still is the Bain of my life. It's been over a half year since I gave them the keys to my house and for the first three months I thought it was normal that I wasn't getting no updates or any potential clients cuz that's how it usually is. However come month 4 month 5 everytime I get some sort of update even called the office directly Shanice seem to be always "busy" whenever I ask the receptionist if I can speak to her directly. Save yourself the trouble DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY or Shanice Huntsberry They are the worst when it comes to communication and don't value your time at all. I wish I had know this and now they have been causing me and my family so much stress cuz they find any clients. What's crazy they don't even have my home listed in thier website they said they'll market it professionally but where??!!! Cuz I don't see it. We constantly have problems with the plumbing and no emergency number to call to get someone out to fix it. Someone supposedly fixed it last week, yet our toilets are backed up, again! Went in about a rental , was told i needed more documents and signatures from person who was going to be residing in rental. Went and got signatures and docs requested. When returned the "lady" (and I use the term loosely) I was told I had to get different documents done. When asked why and told here what was going on she said "because I didn't ask the right questions". I asked the girl at the window if she understood exactly what I wanted and she said she did. I feel they didn't want to deal with me because I questioned things. This is an extremely disturbing way of doing business, changing what they need and making customers making multi trips for "nothing" and changing what is needed each trip. Wallace reality was a good company to do business with about 5-7 years ago but I WOULD AND WILL NOT DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!! read more

0 STARS!!! I am currently renting with Wallace Realty. I have not had air conditioning in my apartment for over 2 weeks. I have a 3 month old and Wallace has shown not shown any compassion to the fact that my place has averaged at least 85-90+ degrees for the past 2weeks with a child. Instead of commendations, I have received rude clerks, a horrific buissness attitude, & unprofessionalism across the board. If anyone has had issues (which apparently is common for the area), or if you find yourself having issues in the future with this company, TAKE ACTION! Do not let them make you feel insignificant. Been renting from them on and off for a handful of years now. They're lucky they're one of the very few places to rent from in Fallon because otherwise, they would probably be out of business due to their poor quality of service. They're negligent, rude, and downright nasty to almost everyone. Word to the wise: only rent from them if you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. I tried working with them and it was useless. They did absolutely nothing. I did all the leg work. They didn't even follow up on any thing ever on the status of my rental application during 4 months I waited. They simply took my money. They know nothing about section 8 housing. They have no one in town who knows anything about the section 8 program. **That if any one rents to a section 8 participant. The state will put in up grades into their property so the section 8 participants bills will stay low for the state. Like putting double pain windows in, spraying insulation in the roof. wrapping pipes. Little cost to upgrade the place. ( not rebuild the place it has to be structurally sound in the beginning : pass code) They wanted verification. I got it. When they actually know nothing about how the program runs at all. They rather collect money from everyone coming in then admit that don't have no one knowledgeable in their office to really assist at all. When times are tough enough. Like right now. You need to go up an above and not waste time. Never rude. Condescending talking down to people. Yelling from the back office to the front. Then cut me off short because they weren't speaking to me? Everyone walking through your door should be some one you keep. Treating everyone with respect. That word of mouth is money. That is how I ran my business. I never lost one customer walking in my door. One young lady in the office kept asking me about a family member and wanted every personal detail in our relationship. Related to my step dad. I'm here to do business. Rent a house. I don't discuss family with anyone. My private life is exactly that. Private. I don't know this person. No professionalism. Horrible customer service. The fact the lady got in my face to raise her voice at me like she was bossing the kid in office around. ( little miss gossip) I'm a 57 years old adult woman. A successful business owner. And a respectable person. She should be fired. Because she knows nothing about her job. Your not at home screaming at your kids. ZERO Stars just like all the other reviews. Folk these people have a apartment unit coming available on Quail Way in Fallon NV. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! The place is a dump They have cockroach infestation. Wallace raised the tent from $750 to $1000 a month. I dont even think that is legal. U will have to pay a pest xontrol everyother m ok then to keep the bugs away plus you will have a $130 water trash and sewer bill every month. The A/C is garbage. Does not work properly because these ppl keep putting a bandage on the appliance. U have to put up the neighbors who have dogs that let them pee all over the patio. U walk by and can smell an overwhelming odor of urine. U have trashy neighbors who have domestic fights at least once a week. I was a occupant there for three months and left. Horrible office staff as well. Avoid Candace there in the office. She is a royal witch!!!! read more

How do you rate negative stars? How do you stay in business with a model like this? She literally threw my keys at me when I complained about her practices. I had a major cleanup in my house and it was the worst it's ever been since I've rented. I can't see how an inspection could have been conducted, I was out thousands of dollars (yes, the renter did the damage, but WHAT exactly was I paying them for??) All of my tenants are on direct deposit now and I conduct my own inspections every six months. I've never had the kind of disaster since when I hired them for "service". This is like in the movies where the house says "DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR!!" And then that silly person does. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. You are fairly warned. read more

Ive always believed in giving people/companies the benefit of the doubt and understand how rumors get spread or what people tend to say to trump up their experiences.However; in this case i was completely floored that what others had said was absolutely true. Such a very crooked company. I have always been an amazing tenant and have lived in 6 total rentals over my lifetime, always receiving wonderful letters of recommendation after vacating as well as most of my deposits if not all (partial deposits held for small expected things like spot painting or blinds). I lived in a Wallace managed townhouse for 2.5 years. I was an amazing tenant, never complaining and always taking very good care of my townhouse. In fact, i received multiple compliments on how i kept the place and guests tried to rent in the same complex after viewing my townhouse; however would be disappointed when the other units did not look as good as mine. After putting in my 30 day notice and showing the townhouse multiple times, i received multiple compliments from prospective tenants about how good it smelled or how lovely my place looked and how clean it was. Fast forward to my final walk though- which they pushed back 2 days and were late too- I paid $135 to have the carpets professionally cleaned and provided the receipt as required. Even though my place was very very clean already, i made sure to clean all the appliances, walls, baseboards, floors, bathrooms, windows everything to make the place nice for the following tenant. I followed their checklist. However from the second they walked in they were very very rude. Telling me the place was "filthy" and telling me I DID NOT clean the apartment when i did. They turned on the light in the kitchen in front of me and bulb blew. I was then advised "you'll have to pay for that" they nit picked and made the place sound deplorable! I was in tears. Never in my life have i experienced such lies and rudeness. DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. I was completely floored at the statements coming out of the property managers mouth. Honestly i could go into more detail and type this review forever, but this at least gets the idea across. I spoke with my lawyer and i plan to sew for anything unjust. I've requested to be let back into the townhouse to take a video of the current state that they say "will take a cleaning crew a full day to rectify" COMPLETE BS. I will admit i forgot to lift the stove top and clean there as well as i left (GASP) a finger print on the dishwasher as well as spot painting for where hung decorations and blinds need to be replaced in a couple of rooms. However; No way should that take my full $1275 deposit. Do not do business with this company.. I've heard it from both sides. From tenants and property owners, both have numerous complaints. We rented a comercial property from them with another tenant. The other tenant turned out to be a nut case and we moved out at the end of the lease term and the other tenant was staying. We asked that our name be removed from the lease as well as our portion of the security deposit back. Wallace Realty, who we now know are were in cohoots with the other tenant refused to do the correct thing. We are out our deposit and will never do business with them again. read more

I have never had such a bad experience with a real estate broker before until now! My brother went with Wallace to rent a place and he has been getting the run around ever since he entered their door. He paid rent for the month already, and was supposed to get the keys to the place on the first, but they delayed it until the 11th and he shows up bright and early , as soon as the office opens up. Then they tell him he can't have the keys until 3:00 PM! He has people waiting to help him move! Now we all have to wait until the afternoon instead of getting an early start before it gets too hot out! Never do business with Wallace they are flaky as hell! read more

Where to start...My husband and I moved to Fallon two years ago. We had never been to Nevada so we basically googled local property management companies. I went through Wallace because they had a house that seemed to fit all of our needs and, shame on me, I did very little research on the company itself. Because we were moving across the country, we didn't even see the house before we moved in. That being said, I don't know that we would've been turned off the property because at first glance, it was everything that was advertised and when we came in to sign the lease, the staff was pleasant. The property we rented was older and within a few months of moving in we began having issues with the septic tank. This was one of many issues that would be a constant problem for the duration of our time there. It became apparent that they had no care or concern that we had no working toilets every 4 to 6 weeks. In one instance, this issue occured on a Saturday and I called the emergency line. It took 8 hours and 5 voicemails for someone to finally return my call and when they did, well to say they were rude would be an understatement. I was told that they would not pay a company overtime mad we would have to wait until next Monday for someone to come out. We also had multiple issues with our well running dry due to cattle that the property owner our on our land. Even though this happened literally EVERY TIME he put cattle on the land (they would drink the well dry) Wallace staff always managed to make accusatory statements (you must be running the water too much, you probably let the light go out on the pump house and the pipes are probably frozen and if so you're gonna have to pay for that, etc) followed by the same no care we will get to it when we can attitude. No working showers , toilets or sinks is NOT an emergency to this company. Mice in the house? Your problem. Light goes out in a spider infested Pump house ? Your responsibility to fix it. Septic tank backing up? Go buy tabs to drop in the toilet, it's your responsibility. I could go on and on but you probably get the idea. We were ecstatic about moving and when we scheduled our final walk through I had spent the week in advance cleaning as much as I could. When the staff showed up, my husband was clearing the last bit of his stuff from the garage. I walked out to greet them and instead of a "hello", I was met with a flat "so I guess the garage isn't cleared out yet?". I waited outside for them to finish and after they were done, the same woman came out and asked me if I wanted to "attempt" to clean the house before we left. I would say I was shocked by how rude this woman was but, having dealt with her in the past, it just seemed par for the course. Bottom line: this leasing company doesn't care about its tenants, maybe because the area is a military town and they aren't worried about repeat business since most families move after a few years. If you want a leasing company that will take your needs and concerns seriously, this is not the place. Want your deposit back? Not the place. Want to be treated like a human being? Not the place. No matter what type of deal they are offering I'm telling you sincerely that it is not worth it for the bs you will deal with until your lease is up. ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER! read more

Renters beware. If you're looking to rent find another place. When you're looking to rent these women are as nice as can be but when you try to move out they turn into total bitches. The place I rented was decent for me and my dogs the price was a little high but it was alright. I signed a 1 year lease and at the end of my lease they decided to raise the rent $75, which was way more than I was willing to spend. So I decided that I was going to find a cheaper place. Once I put my 30 day notice in they wanted to show the house every couple of days which was a major inconvenience having to lock up my dogs. when they came to do my move out inspections they sent 2 women. one was a nice older lady and the other was a complete bitch. she hit me on not removing water spot on the refrigerator doors after cleaning them, the house smelling too much like cleaning products, not cleaning the mirrors (which was my fault, I forgot). so they said that they'd have it cleaned which would be $25 an hour and they'd take it out of my deposit.OK so in my mind those miner things would be less than an hour of cleaning. well it took them an entire month to return my deposit. And when I did receive my deposit I was charged $400 for cleaning!! and the invoice said there was massive amounts of pet hair that was cleaned up which was not noted anywhere of my move out inspection . so that would mean they cleaned for 16 hours! I called them on this and was told that the $25 an hour didn't include pet hair. This company is horrible and id give my money elsewhere. read more
