I expect my CPA to thoroughly review my return, maximize every legitimate deduction and credit, and legally minimize my tax liability. Instead, it felt like the focus was simply on getting the return done rather than taking the time to optimize it. If you're looking for an accountant who is proactive and thorough about finding tax-saving opportunities, this was not my experience.
