Other companies were quick to advise me that certain other trees needed to be taken down in order to access the 3 large pines we wanted to be removed for safety reasons. I was extremely pleased that Jon was able to "think outside the box", coming up with a way to remove the large pines without taking out other trees. I knew at that moment that he was the man for the job! The cost was quite reasonable and the time of year (Feb '22) didn't deter them from doing the work in a timely, efficient manner. Timmy, the foreman, and his crew cut down 5 trees ( 2 were oak) in all, showing much skill in operating the crane and other equipment in very tight quarters. Before leaving for the day, they did a thorough job cleaning the yard. I also appreciated the crew taking the time to show me the red rot and/or cracks they discovered in the pine tree trunks, along with an explanation, once they were taken down. The service they provide is exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future tree work!

We hired Kate to help us with a problematic oak tree at our property in Dublin. She came promptly, evaluated the situation, and determined that the problem could be resolved with some targeted pruning. It was clear she was abundantly knowledgeable and capable from the outset. She rope-climbed the tree, used minimally invasive techniques and accomplished the pruning job in short order. We were so happy with the result, we asked if she could evaluate a sick crabapple sheltering a family grave in a nearby cemetery. Again, she came promptly, determined that the tree was able to be cured, and she performed various treatments, followed by seasonal pruning to be done during dormancy to reduce risk of fireblight. We were thrilled with her, her service, and with the way she does business. We highly recommend Kate Odell and her services. Even though the previous owner had purchased the fence from Blue Ribbon, Dennis said we were still covered for the repairs under his warranty.
