She stated that the car was over heating, they changed her oil and filled her coolant reservoir since it was EMPTY. After leaving there she called me to send Chase over to check out her car when he got home from work. We go over and pull the cap on the oil & it's a complete milkshake, mind you this car was over heating to begin with and obviously already had coolant in the oil & instead of being decent people and making her aware that an oil change is NOT going to fix the issue they change it, collect their money and send her on her way. I call to speak with a manager and the manager calls me back this morning to set up a time to come look at the vehicle to confirm what we already know & then i call back to give the address and a time since i had to confirm with her and chase & that's when they proceed to tell me they've decided it's not their problem since the car had prior issues. We are completely aware the issue had nothing to do with them but where the problem lays is them still proceeding to change the oil that very obviously had coolant in it. It's very apparent this company fits their reputation of taking advantage of older women that know nothing about vehicles just to make a dollar.

Thank god the firefighters were called by someone along the road they sent help because we were out in what it felt like -10 degrees around 8:00 pm with our 3 year old stranded. We took it into the mechanic they said our the radiator fan was broken and the coolant hose disconnected from how hot the engine was. We needed to replace the battery because it was also fried due to the overheating. They needed to flush the entire system there was a concoction of fluids/ liquids. This was absolutely done because of the crappy oil change. We got out car back after about 2 weeks . The same day the car started acting up AGAIN so we took it back after paying for a rental for 2 weeks and $1100 for repairs turns out The coolant traveled to the cylinder due to a mixture of different coolants that have been used. Fast forward its 3/6/2026 and our car is still in the mechanic and needs the entire engine replaced. Thousands and thousands of dollars because of your carelessness. You have left a family of 7 ( 5 children) without a car. God almighty will take this matter into his hands. You guys are irresponsible and even if it is not the owners fault train your people better. Shame on you!

I super appreciate the excellent customer service I received at Quaker State every time I go there!…read moreToday it was around $85.00 for a full oil change with high mileage oil, top off on my transmission fluid, 2 new air filters, and maintenance checks. They told me about a few problems with my car and recommended me to a few places here in town that could help. If $85.00 is too much, don't worry you can cut your bill in half by taking regular oil. I used high mileage because I have an engine with a lot of miles and I put over 400 miles more on it every week.

I called 7 days layer to inquire it's status, and was told it had not been looked at yet and they'd call me when they did. 22 DAYS (!!) later I was contacted regarding the repair and received an apology for the length of time it took, but it STILL hadn't been looked at! 3 days later I was called and told vehicle would be done in 1 week. 8 days later ( 40 days total! ) I contacted business to pick up vehicle. After all this time I was informed by the mechanic my vehicle would not be repaired!?!? I tried to have vehicle towed from business 8 days later but they left the key on and the battery was dead; I can't tow with no brake lights! Went back with fresh battery 4 days later; the business owner had my vehicle TOWED. He gave me less time to get it back than he got to "repair" it. Furthermore, when I called to inquire where vehicle was the owner told me "Quinns" and hung up on me!! John, the owner, is very unprofessional, and expects the customer to accommodate him. Ed works the counter; I feel sorry for him. Good guy; he tried to help. I record all business calls. I saved all the conversations with Ed and John, and saved their messages left on my answering machine. I can verify every statement in this review. I had heard things about John, but I gave him a chance. Now I wish otherwise, he cost me a month of wasted time and $200. There was no reason for this. I'm not the first customer he's treated poorly, but hopefully I'll be the last.
