It is kind of hard to grocery shop when the store is a mile away and you have to tote those heavy bags back. What do you do? Call Frank's Service Center? HELL NO! Don't do it. Find another place. In fact, if Frank's was the only repair facility in town? I would tote my bags back from the grocery store. Why? Glad you asked. When the tow truck comes to get your vehicle, Frank's will CLAIM that they didn't get the keys, but we all know that when the driver drops the vehicle, he takes the keys to the shop manager who then signs for them. BUT, Sam at Frank's will CLAIM that he didn't receive the keys, had to pay to have a key made rather than call you to see if you have a spare key, and then when your things get stolen out of your ride? He will blame the tow truck driver's failure to bring the keys to him?!! Then, he will not pay for what is stolen. Rather, he is going to pay for what he knows came stock with the vehicle. When you disagree with him, he will tell you, "if there is going to be a disagreement, I will just give you the transmission and you take your vehicle. I won't touch it again!" What an effin bully! I'm still waiting on my Pioneer Stereo, amp, subwoofers and inverters. Oh, and by the way, just like any other narcissist, Sam is going to blame YOU for his mistakes! Go figure.

Since this was a Saturday many car care places were closed, I happened to find Sinclair after a quick search of finding someone who was open on a Saturday afternoon. Sinclair was quick with their service, but also took time to answer questions and explain what the problem was with my vehicle. When I followed up with additional questions they clearly explained things in a way I could understand. They also took the time to show my husband and I what was the source of the issue. We also happened to share that we had a nail in the tire that we noticed when it was loaded up on the tow truck prior to our arrival, mentioning that we would need to go get the tire taken care of after we left Sinclair. They then went above and beyond to taking care of the screw that was in the tire. A day later they called to see if I made it back home safely. Thankful for the care they showed even after we left! My 30-year-old car has 273K miles of wear and tear on any original parts, so the job turned out to be more than simply replacing the pads. The quoted estimate was $1500 for the pads, brake calipers, drums, brake rotors, hardware kits, fluid, and labor. I had seen my car on a lift before taking it to Advantage Auto, and after inspecting the wheels, I knew the brake job was going to be involved (which is part of the reason I didn't want to do it myself). Jason loaned me a car for the day, which I greatly appreciated. AA worked from 9:00 till around 5:30 (they had delays in receiving parts from across town), and got me out of there the same day. My final price of $1300 was lower than the estimated $1500, as they didn't charge me for all the replacement parts. The brakes have been working as needed over the last month. Was it a lot of money? Yes. Did I get what I paid for? Yes. Would I go back? Yes.
