The manager, Sam, did the kindest most heartfelt thing. The plant is beautiful and wrote me a note apologizing for barbara, an employee there, that was so rude to me. I don't think anyone has ever done that. All the other employees there are so kind and Sam is a one of a kind. What a great example of an amazing manager. i will be back bc of her! These aren't like the plants you see for sale in places like the grocery store, or big box store. These are each uniquely lovely and vibrant. Healthy! They all seemed so much healthier and more vibrant than plants I typically see in shops. I seriously would have bought a dozen of them if I had a way to get them all back to Chicago with me tomorrow. I wish I could take a class here. The owner and the other shop keeper were so sweet and helpful! I love my little plant and I'm sure my colleague will be delighted tomorrow. The owner even put it in a cute candy cane gift bag. Yelp says it closes at 3 pm, but I was there around 6 pm and it was open for business. It's walking distance from Aloft Hotel and also The Worthingon Renaissance Hotel, so if you are staying there give yourself a little adventure time and walk over to this shop, then stop by MELT Ice Cream next door for a treat!

Well, it didn't quite live up to my dreams. It seems they have a large inventory of full grown trees - great if you are a landscaper or homeowner buying plants for a major backyard project. They specialize in Asian gardens. It started raining heavily during my visit, so I ducked into the greenhouse. Now, with that being said, the lady who was working was very dry and didn't seem interested in helping us or didn't provide answers to our questions. Not as many as I hoped but they could be growing their inventory over time. They have a good selection for those looking to start their first journey or if you have a large love or need for cacti in your home. Not a lot of outdoor cacti at this moment. We did leave with some good outdoor options and will be back for more after we plant what we did buy. They price ranges start at about $15 and go up from there. They even have some indoor cacti already in pots and cool containers as well. It's a place I will definitely poo in from time to time as we grow our new outdoor cacti collection. 4 stars because I am leaving room for the improvement and growth of the inventory and business.
