I've been to King's Crossing Fashion Outlets a few times now. It's not really an outlet mall,…read moresince a lot of the stores are just regular stores selling the latest season at the same prices as at a regular mall. The layout is like an outlet mall in that it's a plaza and you have to go outside to go from store to store (it's not an enclosed shopping mall). The majority of the stores are also not all that interesting to me, but hey I shop everywhere just in case there is some really cool thing just waiting to be discovered, lol. They have lots of athletic stores like Adidas, Puma, Columbia, Reebok and Bench. They have women's fashions (stores I generally like, but the prices are not cheaper than at their retail stores): Laura, Melanie Lyne, Ricki's, and La Vie en Rose. They have unisex fashions: Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's and Roots. They have other stores like Carter's/Osh Kosh, George Richards Big and Tall, Stokes, Paderno and Magnotta Winery. The only store that is truly an outlet is the Designer Fashion Exchange, which is an outlet for TanJay, ALIA and Nygard. It is huge, so if you like these brands, you will likely find some good deals. When I was there last, they had clearance items 5 for $25, and black dress pants for $3.99. There's lots of free parking and it's conveniently located right off the 401. If you go to King's Crossing and are hungry, I recommend eating at Fardella's. It's great. I wrote a separate review for it :)

Fairly nondescript selection of stores. The Magnotta outlet provided excellent customer service…read moreand their selection of wines was impressive. They have a refrigerated selection of mini sparkling wine in cans that were priced reasonably and handy to purchase to go they also tasted great. Customer service in the Designer Fashion Exchange store was non existent. Laura, Levis, George Richards, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Carters and a Stokes are pretty much all the stores still open. Reebok has closed. Stokes was having a liquidation sales so their days may be numbered. Definitely a passing by and stop type place as opposed to a destination. Lots of food choices nearby, Panera, Swiss Chalet and Boston Pizza to name a few..

Canadian Tire - Unexpired Toaster sale from the flyer that Canadian tire did not accept.

Awful experience. We…read morewere in the market for a toaster and I got a flyer delivered to our door that included a good price on a toaster. We cut the section out and took it to the store to buy a toaster (we live in Amherstview and the store is in Kingston). The cashier had a bad attitude and decided not give us the discounted price. She incorrectly read the flyer coupon and said that it expired last week. When we got home we saw that it was in fact the correct date. When we took the toaster back we were told the opposite that the price was not yet active and is for next week so if we come back NEXT WEEK a third time with the receipt then they would only discount it then. I have worked in retail and I know through point of sale that you can in fact discount stuff no problem if the customer has a legitimate reason for it and especially if it is the price in the flyer. Furthermore, if it were ahead of time you can save your customers the trouble and select a discount ahead of time (again if its legitimate). Abysmal. Just give us the discount you sent to us in the flyer, it makes no difference when it is done if it is a legitimate sale which it was. Beyond frustrating to be treated like a number by these big corporations. This is one of the worst retail experiences I've had, and its sad that the manager could not remedy this when I know how other retail hardware stores operate. This was an easy fix, and that my store expects that it is reasonable for the customer to make 3 separate trips to them to correct a mistake they made is the most disrespected I've ever felt as a customer. Canadian Tire took our business for granted and we couldn't feel any less valued as customers.
