Original review: So Almost Perfect is a chain with several locations. Prior to my visit to this Brockville location, I had only ever been to the Toronto location. I would say that the Brockville location is comparable to the Toronto location. Almost Perfect is a grocery store outlet. They sell items that are "almost perfect" like mis-formed chocolate bars, or broken cookies. They also sell items that are approaching their best-before date or discontinued products, like things in flavours that didn't sell well. Their prices are cheap, cheap, cheap. I got some kale chips that usually sell for $6.99 a bag at Loblaws for only $3.33 a bag (the "best-before date" was 3 months from the date of purchase, so not bad at all). They had lots of Udi's gluten-free breads going for $10 for 3 loaves. They had Annie's organic gummies for $2.99 a box. Inventory changes regularly, so it's a surprise with every visit :) This location is a stand alone store (not in a strip mall). There's an attached parking lot with free parking. Staff are super nice and helpful. They only take cash or debit. No credit cards. This place is awesome. If I lived in Brockville, I would go every week!

They have an excellent produce selection, seafood, cold cuts, and cool sauces and house brand Farm Boy brand + and excellent bakery! I've noticed they have boned up on prepared foods and have one of the biggest selection I have seen on K-cups for Keurig! It's really a shame we couldn't have FB in Montreal as it excels at providing a different yet fresh and cool selection of different products! I had a bad taste for them when they told me to hold my returnables during the pandemic or take them to Big M. Now they require me to have my license scanned to buy beer. This is not a NYS law. Check my DOB fine, even look at me and notice I'm a senior, fine, but they are data mining. I told the cashier I did not want my License scanned and she said the store requires it. I said I didn't want my info in their system. She said" Oh Honey we already have all of your info" Great to know in these days of system hacking." I'm done with them. I'll drive farther to Big M where they use their head. I now know why they are still in business, when up the road is a cheaper option.
