Most recently, they had a lot of deals extended past Black Friday, but unfortunately most retail coveted items like Kahtoola microspikes were not on sale and still full price at $69.95. The store is multiple levels and the employees have always been friendly at directing me on where to find things. I do wish they carried Darn Tough Socks from Vermont, but they have a different fake-wool sort of sock brand which I don't like as much. I've had to venture to stores like The Mountaineer to find DTS. I've also looked at climbing equipment and harnesses here, but mostly found the pricing not competitive as the climbing gym, so passed on some of the selections. Despite that, I've purchased snacks and always enjoyed browsing from here. I do think EMS products are pretty high quality in general and last a while, so whether you're looking for gear, snowshoe rental, base layers or whatever you may want for some outdoor adventure, definitely check out this spot!

We ordered cold brews, a gf chocolate cake slice and the fluffiest donut. The gf cake was very rich and decadent without being too sweet. The cold brews were smooth and I really enjoyed the pistachio flavor. While we were waiting, we had plenty of fun items to look at in the shop. The shop was also very neat and bright. I also have found that Coakley carries very good quality items. Both the tile and the hardwood flooring was excellent to work with and to look at.
