Hi, I use Walgreens…read moreexclusively. I used this one only for a quick Rx pickup from my Dentist, which is in Lavonia. I stopped in for a prescription, that was called in. I approached the cashier, who answered we don't have it, they have not called it in. It was a reason to go to the car to call the dentist. They had left it on their answering machine and did not check it over the last 1/2 hour. Oh well. i walk back in again from the car, it is a chore, I just came from a long recoup from the hospital, very weak. She now has it. I go back in, Pharmacist asked me for my name again. I told him, he said loudly speak louder I can't hear you! So I sit quietly waiting for it to be made, Pharrmacist Anthony Shropshire, he looked down and said it is being made. Mr. Shropshire makes it, says very loudly it is ready! I nod, he comes back with ,"Lets get moving, it is ready, time to go, time to get it and move on now!" Wow! Where does that come from and why??!! I told him , I am on energy reserves and just out the hospital. I buy it and wish them each a good day. How does this even get justified. It doesn't I will stay at the other stores that are courteous and professional. Too bad, customers that are new are often not valued.

This is the worst store I've ever been to. Been trying to get a prescription now for a week and…read moreevery time I go the pharmacy is closed because the pharmacist called out sick (update your damn website accordingly). Been there 3 times and still can't get what I need. That has cost me at least $15.00 in fuel. You mean to tell me because one employee calls out it shuts down the entire store and keeps customers from getting the meds they need. Piss poor management. I was told I could drive to Royston or Toccoa to get the meds, no one offered to pay for the fuel or discount my meds. I will never go back to Walgreens again, they suck.

When I was a kid, my best friend's dad owned the local small town pharmacy. We used to go there…read moreanticipating the day when the new comic books would come out, because they sold comic books. They also sold Case pocket knives and had a fine display of them. We moved to Greenville in 1976 and it was just about that time that Fowler's started carrying sunglasses and it was also just about that time that I got my driver's license for the first time. Ever since then, Fowler's has been the place to go for sunglasses. So much so, that I never even noticed if they sold comics or pocket knives too. There are hundreds of choices and price ranges. My son, who just recently got his driver's license for the first time, came here and spent around $150 in birthday money getting some Ray-Bans (one pair) while I was able to buy three for $25 of no-name polarized, different style sunglasses. Yes, three pair for $25. We both left the building with the sun blocked from our eyes, and I thought mine looked every bit as cool as his. Something for everyone and a home town institution for around 60 years. Oh yeah, they still have a pharmacy too.

I had purchased sunglasses from Fowler's for years, till they stopped being a major supplier for a…read morewhile. But they appear to be back in the game again. We were right on Lauren's Road, so I thought I'd stop in again, as I saw large Ray-Ban signs on the building. It seemed that I remembered Fowler's having good prices back in the day, but this time, they were actually more expensive than the Ray-Ban site. Ray-Ban had specials on their most popular sunglasses on their site for Labor Day. Fowler's had a discount case, but I didn't see any specials on their better supplies. They definitely have the great products, and they know their products, so if you're looking for convenience, Fowler's will be a good place to shop.
