I'm giving this location on 28 West , Five Stars. In my eyes the truly deserving it . I'm a Truck Driver. And I've literally call every Walmart . That I know I'll be passing every day . For the past 3 Weeks. This one was had nice associates answering the phone . And will to help . Told me yes , we have Seeded Grapes . And I stopped right in to get all Three Bags . please do not buy walmarts meat !! it is not real meat ! and also, it's the rudest people I've ever met in my life working there! They have an older lady that works at the door as a greeter/except she sits in the subway all day doesn't speak doesn't smile and rude as hell! One day, I asked her why the handicap carts weren't charged. She called her son. He came up there and they threatened to jump on me.! I'll never go back. This is the most ghetto store I've ever encountered.! They're nasty ! Management knew this lady and her son tried to jump on me/and here it is a couple years later I guess he still works there the brood lady at the door... she must be kind to someone there cause she does not do her job! DC employees were nice Walmart is a little better but one time I went to the subway section got a Dr pepper I was drinking while my brother was right next to me and we were playing games my mother was done paying so we walked out the door fine as a shine of butter read more

Walmart in Alexandria , La by the mall don't answer the phone you see them goofing off then when it's time to check out they harras youwhen you are walking out the door looking in every bag to see if you have took something from there when you clearly was in the check out line right in front of their goofy ass. It's a wonder that that Walmart is still open. I live close but would rather go to target and pay outrageous price than go in that goofy ass acting store. read more

People was very friendly had a lot of clothes in the front of the store on discount got some nice pants for three dollars a pair. My wife got a nice dress and some other items got good customer service in the electronics department and we was checked out in no time read more

I can't rate this in a positive way. I ordered groceries early this morning for delivery between 11-12 today. It is now after 2 pm and I don't have any word on my groceries. I have called several times and there is no answer. Not very long ago, somebody took off with my grocery order. I'm very disappointed in Walmart. And it's employees. read more

This location is a little cleaner than the one on Nirth Mall Drive but not too much just newer. Both locations have some rude employees but there are nice ones sometimes also. It's hard to find someone to get things out of the locked areas in health and beauty aisles. If you ask an employee something about an item in another department they will say "not my department" and if you tell them you can't find someone to help you in that other department, please don't expect them to call someone for you. they look at you like "not my problem ". sad. read more

It's a Walmart. You'd think that since this is supposedly located in a nicer part of "Alec" that the people who shop here might try to keep this one nice. Nope. Went to the restroom at this one because I assumed it would be cleaner since it hasn't been open long and, once again, it's in the "nice" part of town. It was a bit dirty, but the fact that a toilet seat was already broken off and that there was urine on every single other one was what shocked me. I mean, even gas stations have cleaner toilets than this! Yes, I know that it is the responsibility of the workers to clean the place, but it is your responsibility to not make a mess just because you know you don't have to clean it up. ************** Public Service Announcement: Ladies, do you wipe your hands or your food over your ass before you eat??!! No??? Then why the hell do you squat over a seat and piss all over it! Seriously! Unless you have some major cuts all over your butt you aren't going to catch a disease by sitting on a toilet! And heck, there are sheets of paper to put over the seat - and yet you still feel the need to stand up to urinate?! If so, then please go to the "men's" room where you belong! And then there was the lady, also supposedly from the "nice" section of town, that just left the stall and didn't wash her hands. You should all be more worried that she was fixing your burger at the local fast food joint than possibly getting someone else's dead skin cells on your butt! I'm going to echo the other review here and say...it's a Walmart. I think it's actually a "Super Walmart" due to its large grocery section and massive size. It's nothing special, though. You get what you would expect from any Walmart; fairly low prices, every item you need in one place, and mostly rude/useless/incompetent employees (maybe there are some good ones, but I haven't met them yet). But, my experience with the store is that it's fairly clean (for a Walmart), in a decent location, and has a strong selection of varied items. Just don't bother asking anyone for help...seriously, they may just tell you they just went on break or give an obviously fabricated excuse. read more

This particular store will NOT answer a phone call. The Pharmacute will always answer but if you need another dept you might as well forget it. I am tired of trying to get an answer. It rings and rings and then cuts off. This is NO way to run a business!!!!!! read more

I'm super upset with Wal-Mart due to the new savings catcher rules. If I want to pay cash for my purchases, I can, but I can't submit it to the savings catcher unless I use Wal-Mart pay!! There are times that I actually chose to go to Wal-Mart over the local grocery store (which has MUCH better quality meat at a MUCH lower cost) because of the convenience of the Savings catcher. There is nothing special about Wal-Mart anymore. I can buy my meat at the local grocery store, buy personal needs, kids toys, kitchen accessories and gadgets, tennis shoes, clothes, underwear, candles, cards, jewelry, meds, home decor, bday party decor, flowers, etc on Amazon prime for a fraction of the price that Wal-Mart has these items, and I won't have to settle with Amazon Prime bc the item isn't in stock. read more

Came in to buy earphones and apparently the night shift manager is too busy to take a minute to help. Left frustrated. Do not come here before 7 am. Spent 30 just for them to tell me that they couldn't help because they took the magnet keys from the associates. They've got even the cheapest earbuds locked down. Complete dump, but go figure it's a Wally world. People will park right next to a cart coal but still to damn lazy to put the cart they used in it so carts are all over the parking lot. Mens restrooms completely trashed, broken urinals, sinks didn't work and stalls out of order. They won't even refill the paper towels for the one working sink out of four. Don't ever buy the fresh not frozen catfish from here it smelled like a month old rotten egg it about knocked me down!!! So I called them and the lady that was working at the service desk said she couldn't make the call and she would have to get the manager on the phone, she got back on the phone and said the manager said they couldn't give any information out over the phone to bring my receipt and the fish back so I had to ride back to the grocery store with this receipt and this smelly fish. On 6/19/16, I had the unfortunate experience of having to purchase a new tire from the automotive center of store location #04295. The previous day, while traveling on I-49 from Baton Rouge to Alexandria, LA, I had a flat after accidentally striking something in the roadway. I pulled over to the side of the interstate as soon as I realized that I had a flat. I should also mention that I went to WM because I had purchased all 4 of my tires from another WM store & had road hazard protection on them. Upon first arriving at the automotive Center, the WM employee told me that he did not know if they could honor my road hazard warranty because it had been keyed in the system incorrectly by the other store where so had purchased the tires. I told him that was NOT my fault. After removing my damaged tire, he then told me that they again could not honor my warranty because I had driven on the tire after it had gone flat & this was "CUSTOMER ABUSE". At that point, I insisted on speaking with a mgr. & I explained that I had been on a busy interstate when this happened & I pulled over to the shoulder as soon as I could safely do so. I was NOT going to endanger my life by coming to a dead stop on the interstate just in the interest of preserving Wal Mart's road hazard warranty. He said he saw my point & would honor the warranty. However, to top everything off, they absolutely refused to wench my spare tire back underneath my vehicle where belonged, saying it was against their store policy because they had broken another customer's wench about 1 month prior & it cost them approx $400.00!!!! Because of this, my boyfriend (who is legally blind) & I (with chronic back problems) were forced to get underneath my truck in 100+ heat index weather to put the spare tire back where it belonged. I have already reported a complaint about this whole incident on Walmart.com as of 6 days ago with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. I guess this means that they have concern at all for customer satisfaction!!!!!! I wish that I could give them zero stars. read more

This is the newer of the two wal-marts in Alexandria located on Coliseum Blvd. In terms of service the employees are very helpful if you cannot find an item, sometimes the store does not have a few items in stock, but overall it is a good store. I believe that this one is better than the other wal-mart ner the Alexandria mall. read more
