Overall rating: 4.5/5. Open 24/7, organic products bursting with flavors (i.e.: organic blueberries, organic cherry tomatoes, etc.) and healthy options available such as a good selection of all natural herbal teas without soy lecithin, some sustainable products available like one of their Great Value toilet papers made out of recycled components, affordable anti-mildew shower liners and shower curtain hooks, friendly and customer-oriented staff, fast check-out, a hairdresser on-site, large parking lot, convenient location, etc. It would be perfect if this Walmart were to carry organic raspberries, organic blackberries, unsulfured and unsweetened dried mangos, non-toxic anti-dandruff shampoos, etc.

What is the number one test factor for a good retail store? Return something and see how you are treated. This place passed the test with flying colors, very professional, handsome (helps), patient, soft spoken young man greeted me after I witnessed him getting yelled at by an angry customer. Also, not just a Walmart, a Superstore Walmart. Food, clothes, garden, automotive departments and many more. Check this place out. Worth a trip.

    a receipt for a $ 1, 000 bill

I have NEVER experienced something like this! I stopped by Walmart on Bobby jones to simply buy me something I wanted as a gift to myself for Mother's Day ...... and I was literally accused of stealing it even after showing the receipt and where it was located on the receipt, simply because of a romper I had taken off and handed to her PRIOR to checking out. I had even gone and gotten another item after giving the romper to her WHILE she was on the phone. She insisted that I hadn't paid for it because of it saying voided entry for the romper. I stated multiple times the romper was the only thing without a price because it was the only item that was voided. When she returned , after more then likely checking if I paid for it in customer service which was closed, she handed it to me without an apology and said "here you go baby". I stated that she didn't even apologize to me and then requested the film that I also paid for to be unlocked she then said I didn't pay for that as well even though she still had the receipt in her hand . As she returned from more then likely verifying that as well she then placed it in my hand (with force) and said "here you are sweetheart I apologize to you". Let me not forget to mention that on the way to me she was laughing with a manager about the situation. I was terrified that I would be arrested for items I paid for while with my two young children But yes thank you Adrena/Andrea for the wonderful customer service.

NO REGISTERS ARE EVER OPEN! PLACE SUCKS FOR CUSTOMERS. Seriously, a mile long line per register with very few open. Like seriously?!? 2 items, 30+ minutes in line. People are just dropping their things wherever and dipping out. Yes, even the garden center is full. _____________________________________________________________ Update: walked upfront and now they've opened more registers. To late. Then the cashier was unable to identify the proper price sticker tagged on the clothing and now we are at customer service, waiting even longer. Going to return our ice cream and get the money back from the difference on the mistake. Dang gum ridiculous!

I like this Walmart. I don't get to shop here much because I'm not in this area often but when I'm in the area I stop on in. The store is always fully stocked with the goods that you need or you are looking for. I also like the fact that late at night they still have a register open instead of just keeping the self checkout open only. Something it's just quicker to have the cashier to ring up your items and bag them quickly. I'm never any good at bagging my own groceries especially if it's a lot of them.I usually break out in a sweat. That a serious workout for me. Isn't that what they are getting paid for!!!!!

I also like that they have plenty of self checkout registers with plenty of space to move around (they aren't all bunched up together).

The prices are definitely steep, even in comparison to somewhere like Publix. Whilst in the store, I saw several shady individuals smoking inside with backpacks on. Yet management didn't do anything about them. The second I exited the store I felt like I was going to get mugged. Some other shady individuals (whose pants were sagging) all were conjugating outside the entrance. One of them said to me, "Who you looking at N-slur." Another one asked, "What you have in the (grocery) bag N-slur" When I got to my car one of them was walking towards my car. Now I don't know if he was going to do anything, but the whole thing felt extremely sketchy. I wouldn't want to come back to the store unless they had some sort of security to keep thugs and rift-raft out. Because unless you want to be mugged, shopping here isn't a great investment!

So when I say I have frequented this Kroger location for almost the entirety of my 15 years in Augusta, that means something. I will also note that means I stuck with them through the early waves of COVID-19, as they had already implemented curbside pickup months before the statewide shut down. I have seen the location go through major renovations, including product placement and the increase of self-checkout lanes. But some things (and very important ones at that) have remained the same. The customer service here is universally top notch. From team members who bring out your groceries and load them in the trunk to the person overseeing self-checkout to the pharmacy, they are always helpful, patient, and kind. My interaction with the bakery has been minimal, but it too has always been a positive experience. I appreciate their overall selection, their organic-all natural options, and yes even their clearance section (it's like a treasure hunt every time I visit). One item I feel is underappreciated is their in-house sushi. You can get a single roll (only $5 on Wednesday's) or order an entire tray. Quality at a great pice. Also worth mentioning is their NA options. Samuel Adams, Guinness, Athletic Brewing, and Hop Water are all there. I will be coming here until the day I depart Augusta.

I'm not sure why it closed or if Harvey's the new supermarket is taking over Bi-Lo locations. The setup seemed the same, but of course the branding was different. The pricing seemed a bit higher than Kroger, which is where I usually shop because of the savings and card perks. They did have a section where everything was $1. I didn't browse it since I was in a rush. There is plenty of parking because it is located in a plaza. There was tons of buzz about this place because they have great prices on some things that cost much more around town. For instance, I picked up two packs of bone-in, thick cut pork chops for a little over $3. It was about 7 in each pack. You couldn't beat that price with a stick!!! There were tons of other deals around the store but, that was just an example of how this store was needed for the budget conscious consumer like myself!!!! They also have a $1 aisle were there are all types of things that are $1 each. I've heard some of my friends already say they will never shop anywhere else for groceries again. I'm not going to say that because I can find deals almost anywhere I shop. This store also redeem and reward you with the Plenti rewards program. I was already a member of that program so I didn't have to sign up, but if you're not it's a breeze to do so. This place is definitely one to check out and see what kind of amazing deals you can find for yourself!!!
