Really disappointed with my visit to this Walmart. Walked around aimlessly for few minutes because of misdirection by staff. I was looking for Pokemon Cards and the staff at the front told me it's back by the books & electronics, so after walking around there, I was redirected to the toys section which was also a fail. Then a third employee told me it's by the front next to the registers so I browsed around there for few minutes and gave up. I understand it's a big store and one employee isn't going to know where everything is, but wish they put in more effort to help me than just send me on a wild goose chase. Also when it came to their toys section, they were pretty depleted in stock. Pokemon cards and other trading cards are normally at the front from the other Walmarts I've been to, this was not the case for the one on 260 Bobby Jones expressway. read more

This place passed the test with flying colors, very professional, handsome (helps), patient, soft spoken young man greeted me after I witnessed him getting yelled at by an angry customer. Why would I do a review for Walmart? I mean, let's be honest. This is the most non-locally based business in the world. But I shop here. Infrequent as it may be, I do come here to make purchases. So, it deserves a honest review. I usually find myself here for the cost convenience. You can't argue with the low prices. Also, they carry the particular pen I favor (Pentel BK91A R.S.V.P Ballpoint Pen, 1mm, Black). As far as product and parking, they have it. Every time I come, it's here. As far as the team, the greeters are alway smiling and the few staff on the floor are always helpful. This Walmart is a piece of work. Now, I'm going to start by saying that in no way am I racial person, but to be treated the way I was treated, was very disgusting and rude and downright hurtful. I was minding my own business and shopping, and I was approached by someone of color and was treated like I was the worst person they ever saw. calling my racial slurs and almost aggressive towards me. I'm a very loyal customer to Walmart and have been for years but to be treated that way because of what I looked like was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable to even walk back into that Walmart and honestly, I felt very unsafe as well. This place needs better employees and needs to have a better policy when it comes to dealing with customers. The store is fine. I have no complaints. The auto center though...it leaves little to be desired. If they are short of technicians, say so. Don't make me think the wait for an oil change is 30 minutes and it turn into almost two hours. Because I'm a procrastinator, I waited. It's just getting worse. I would like to say Thank you to Todd, there was a bit of confusion in my delivery order and I almost didn't get the groceries that I needed for my daughter. So I rushed out the door at almost 11:00 at night with my daughter as I needed the food in order to even be able to serve her breakfast in the morning. Todd was super kind and offered excellent customer service. He located my groceries even though the delivery and pickup department closed earlier. He went above and beyond for me as the customer and even though the circumstances weren't ideal and it was almost closing time he took the time to make sure I was helped and that my order was located. I have NEVER experienced something like this! I stopped by Walmart on Bobby jones to simply buy me something I wanted as a gift to myself for Mother's Day ...... and I was literally accused of stealing it even after showing the receipt and where it was located on the receipt, simply because of a romper I had taken off and handed to her PRIOR to checking out. I had even gone and gotten another item after giving the romper to her WHILE she was on the phone. She insisted that I hadn't paid for it because of it saying voided entry for the romper. I stated multiple times the romper was the only thing without a price because it was the only item that was voided. When she returned , after more then likely checking if I paid for it in customer service which was closed, she handed it to me without an apology and said "here you go baby". I stated that she didn't even apologize to me and then requested the film that I also paid for to be unlocked she then said I didn't pay for that as well even though she still had the receipt in her hand . As she returned from more then likely verifying that as well she then placed it in my hand (with force) and said "here you are sweetheart I apologize to you". Let me not forget to mention that on the way to me she was laughing with a manager about the situation. Pick up service was bad. The pick up people were fine. But the people who bag and do the shopping for you is bad. They didn't put vegetables in a vegetable bag. They put 4 bottles of ketchup and then threw a lot of cans in there with it and DIDN'T DOUBLE BAG!! So the bag ripped! We a made a purchase of over $80.00 yesterday, at Walmart, Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, GA. We paid and left the store. We had other errands to do, we got home late. We live over an hour from this store. When we unloaded the car we discovered we did not have the Cordless telephone system we purchased. I started calling the this store at 7:00 pm it took an hour to finally get someone to answer the phone, they transferred me to customer service who did not answer, and the phone stop ringing and hung up. I kept calling back until 11:00. Sunday morning it's the same again, you get someone to answer and managers ignore pages or no one answers. SORRY customer service. They get your money and you are on you own. PROMBLEMS make another trip back to the store. read more

I was impressed with the quickness the whole experience took although I was slightly disappointed to not enjoy the experience of shopping amongst Augusta's finest. I like this Walmart. I don't get to shop here much because I'm not in this area often but when I'm in the area I stop on in. The store is always fully stocked with the goods that you need or you are looking for. I also like the fact that late at night they still have a register open instead of just keeping the self checkout open only. Something it's just quicker to have the cashier to ring up your items and bag them quickly. I'm never any good at bagging my own groceries especially if it's a lot of them.I usually break out in a sweat. That a serious workout for me. This review is for the car department of the store. I went to get an oil change on my Ford Focus. After waiting 45 minutes they call my name and tell me they can't change the oil because they don't have the right tool to open the panel. It's not like I have an exotic or rare car. It's a 2012 Ford Focus. They must get a few of them coming in for oil changes every week, right? 2 stars instead of 1 because the rest of the Walmart is fine. read more

I enjoy shopping at Walmart on Bobby Jones Highway, but yesterday, I was faced with an issue. I purchased 2, 10kg bracelets, and they turned color, this means they really wasn't 10kg gold. I went to the Customer Service desk with my receipt, and thr do called 10kg bracelets. The kind young lady at the Service Desk told me to go to Jewelry, and I did. I found deer corn at a reduced price at this Walmart online. It was in store only but listed as in stock at this Walmart. When I got to the store it was priced at $5.97 a bag. I took 6 bags to customer service assuming they would honor the advertised price. The were horrible. When I started talking to the lady behind the counter she turned her back and went to work on something else, didn't even acknowledge I was there. When she came back she said it was an in store only price. It actually took a few minutes to explain to her that we were in the store. IDK. she called he customer service manager and when he showed up and researched the prices some he told me the price was for apple flavor and I had brought non apple flavor to the counter. I told him that was fine just take me the correct product. When be got to the back of the store he told me that they didn't have any. He didn't even look from what I could tell. I told him that's fine just write me a rain check for the sale price and I'd come back when they had some. He got agitated and walked off, told me to meet him at customer service. I waited 10 minutes and he came back and said the manager told him that there a mistake in the online pricing and they could only sell me the apple flavor. I'm scratching me head now because he told me they didn't have any but I guess the did in the back but he was just to lazy to get it at first. After a few more minutes he brought 6 30lb bags upfront (not the 40lb) bags in the ad. Fed up I took them and left. I live about 20 minutes away but prefer to shop at this Walmart. About 97% of the time I can find everything needed during this one stop. The store is clean, and the employees seem to always be in their departments and carry on professionally. I also like that they have plenty of self checkout registers with plenty of space to move around (they aren't all bunched up together). I love coming to this store. Everything is well organized and neatly put away. The staff is very friendly an welcoming. I always enjoy going to the clearance section. They are alway good deal there. I bought at TV on the Walmart.com for the first time ever and it was the worst experience. I had it set up to be picked up at the Bobby Jones Walmart in Augusta GA. on March 13, 2020. Yes, know that I know what I know. I'll just go in and buy my TV's then on line. After about two weeks I was having problems with the color a little bit the on the 3-4 week the channel and volume buttons starting messing up. So I decided to bring it back to get a different one. With the Virus going on I even called the store a few time to check to see if they where even doing returns with all going on. I was told a few times over the phone as well as in all my E-mails that I had 90 days to return or exchange. Well by time I was able to get a ride up there with the TV it was April 15th 32 days after I picked it up. I was told that I couldn't do nothing because it was past 30 days. All my years buying my TV's and electronics there they always came with the 90 day policy. There was a couple there that told me they had the same problem a week earlier and the store even called the cops on him because he got loud about it and they wouldn't take back his TV. Also when I called 3 weeks after getting the TV and even after speaking with some one on the phone they both said the same thing. I got a 3 year warranty with the TV why didn't I just call them. I told them it was faster and easier just to go to the store with the TV. Plus who buy's a TV and wants to wait 1-3 weeks for someone to fix it or trash it and give me my money back. Then I would be out the warranty money and who wants that. Like I said never had this problem ever with Walmart and even tho this was my first time buying a TV online. Going to walmart has now become one of those things that I rank with going to the dentist and getting a physical done. Something that you have to do now and again but wish you didn't have to. The prices were ok but I can't help but feel everything I put my hands on was cheaply made which was ok in this instance because I don't expect the stuff to last a use or two. The checkouts are way unacceptable.. 22 lanes with only 2 open. of the 2 there was one cashier sitting there ranting about how this was her first day and she had already been working two hours and need a break so she was just going to stand there until she got a break. So far, I loooove my new neighborhood Walmart. Even though it's not a Super Walmart it stays open 24 hours has a gas station, pharmacy and is close by to where I live. I love to go there for their and fresh Caesar salads for $3.89. Plus, I can easily drop in any time if I run out of bandages and first aid supplies that I need for dialysis. I love the fact that when you go late at night it is virtually empty. It's like "am I in the twilight zone or something" because Walmarts is never usually empty. read more
