I ordered a wedding cake from austin, mn store we checked it out when we got home, this cake was fantastic ! moist, strawberry filling was perfect, decorations were spot on. Packaged fantastic, Over and above what i was expecting. I've been a chef for over 30 yrs, retired, my son wanted me to do the food. There was no way i could prepare service for 70, and make the cake. I went to the liquor store to purchase some alcohol for me and my gals a few weeks back and i saw something that i would is ILLEGAL, I witnessed the worker Kassie M. selling alcohol to a MINOR ( i know this child is underage because my granddaughter is actually in the same grade as her and they are also both on the Austin High School Track team) i would say this is unprofessional but with the experience that me and my hubby had at the Auto Park Area. We were shopping for windshield fluid since there was none on the shelfs so we had to ask one of the employees for some assistance, so we let him know what we needed and 30-40 minutes ALMOST and hour it felt like we were standing there waiting for him and he CLEARLY was not coming back to attend us, so we decided to just go on about our day and continue to shop for our groceries, as were exiting the store we see him coming back in with a bag of food in hand NOT EVEN WITH HIS WORK VEST ON!!! It seems like they never have enough people at the checkout. Store is so large, it feels like a warehouse. Staff can be grumpy at times.

I have been to many Walmarts al over the county. This is by far the worst I have been to. They don't restock shelves in a timely fashion and the employees seem uneducated and illogical when they are available to ask questions. If I could choose zero stars I would! This is the first time in my life writing a review for anything. I just spent a grand total of the worst 20 minutes in a store I have ever experienced. First off as my wife and 2 little girls were trying to find the online pick up area. We came across the counter by the video games where a girl appeared to be doodling behind the counter and my wife nicely asked can you direct us to the online pick up. This worker did not even acknowledge my wife so another employee noticed and guided us...... Not our fault you work at Walmart. Next we get to online pick up with no employees to ring us up except the 8 that walked by us looking like they just walked off a stranded island for weeks without food. Finally a younger kid came up and whisperer end can I help you so we could barely understand what was going on.... Embarrassed for you! Next I needed to pick up some glasses cleaner, so I proceed to the optical center and pick out what I need. I find what I need and stand there for literally 3 minutes while the woman working clearly saw me and continues to gossip on the phone about her fellow employees. She sees me and annoyingly asks "can I help you" ummmmm no I was just admiring your lazy butt sit around and not do your job..... I actually replied nicely yes I need to get ring up and she says "you can go to a different register" so I put it down and left the store in astonishment that this woman could not do her job. Lastly as we are leaving the store our girls are both crying and the "Greeter " decides we will be the customers she will check after dozens walk by. But yes let's ask the family with the crying children. If I were a manager of this store I would be embarrassed and humiliated at the way my employees act. Figure your Sh$? Out Walmart! read more

Horrible customer service. I asked an associate where an item was and she just shrugged and said I don't know and went back to what she was doing. I then asked an associate about an item that was priced wrong and he said "sorry it's 19.99", left it on the shelf in the wrong place and walked away for this same error to happen again. I then decided to get a different red tote that was over with the Christmas stuff marked "75% off discount taken at register". When I checked out they rang up at the full price so I asked the cashier and proceeded to show her the online add showing they were $2. She said "sorry they must be different" when they were literally the same brand and same size. I then went to the customer service desk to address the pricing error and was met with a very rude older lady that just said "what". I explained what happened the advertised price in store and the online price and she said "online prices are different" I asked if I returned these and ordered them in line they'd only be $2 then? To which she said "yea". Okay, then why can't you just do a refund re-ring now and be done with it? I took the totes and left because it wasn't worth the argument to be told the doors were locked 30min early and we had to walk to the other side to get out and then back to the car. I will not be shopping here again and I will gladly let anyone know to go to the Albert Lea store down the road for MUCH better service. I understand if things were wrongly advertised, but there is no excuse for poor customer service ever. read more

I have had consistently positive experiences at this store. The staff quite courteous and knowledgeable. If they are unable to help, they will find someone tohelp answer your questions. I was there 4 times asking specific questions before I purchased my computer. The level of customer service was much better than that of several Best Buy stores that I had attempted to get information at prior to purchasing my computer system. read more
