I really appreciate this store for its convenience. I mostly just have problems with the online services as a glitch in their Walmart+ trial made it so I had to delete my online account and then wait about a month for my phone number to be taken out of their system... then I'll have to start over again. Before the app disaster, the Marcy Dr location was really good with their pick up and delivery services. I'm that person who always tries to checkout with a human being if I go in person. They do a really good job of putting the friendly and knowledgeable workers at the cashier checkouts. Usually they have about 2 of these. Having a friendly face who knows how to be neat and carful when bagging my groceries makes up for some of the hassle of not having the online features working. read more

Wow. They had all kinds of milk. And some of the milk came from nuts, not just cows. Who ever heard of a nut milk? How do you go about milking a nut? Do you have to milk the nut every day? Long story short, Walmart should revamp the customer service training and hygiene. As a contractor for Sam's/Walmart I always emphasize good customer service with efficient and fair pricing. I have shopped at Sam's and Walmart for years and I really understand that with affordable prices, Sam's/Walmart uses affordable labor. With that affordable labor comes challenges. I would like to start with the Automotive department CSR needs to be reassigned. He is a hygiene fail followed by constant challenges from customer requests that are the simplest form. From simple data entry to communication with customers. Not only with myself but my observation with other customers. The automotive technicians need training. From talking to customers to learning to communicate with CSRs on breaks to prevent customers from going elsewhere for service. This would improve customer interaction and drive productivity as well. My personal experience with this store has been below fair. I've been waiting on tires for over a week to find out they have been in for about the same time. I've called and can't get through. Once I get a break to check on status I am told they can install ASAP. Then I get pushback from the techs. This is after I suggest dropping off the following day. I spent another 30min just to find out it's now going to over 2hrs. Thanks Walmart. Now I'm in a great mood arguing with my wife over your staff messing up our Sunday morning and accomplishing nothing with you, on the partial day off that I have. read more

I was going to spend the night in my Sprinter van here in the Walmart parking lot as they do seem to allow overnight parking (wink wink) but it's too dang hot today. I booked a hotel instead. But before the hotel, I stopped in here to refresh some supplies. The store is decent enough and I found what I needed in the RV and automotive sections plus some basic groceries. I stopped by this Walmart while on a business trip in Big Spring. This Walmart appears to be an older store. I have a teacup yorkie and Walmart usually has a good selection of xxs dog clothes and toys. However, this Walmart was lacking in the pet area. They did have a large selection of groceries and their wine and beer section is the huge. I was able to find snacks that I don't usually see at the Walmart where I live. So of course I had to buy some. I'm not a huge fan of having to check myself out. The line was long and the people in front of me were having trouble with the self check out. It seems like this Walmart has enough employees to open a register but they are forcing people to do self check out by not having any of the registers open. Overall I would go here again when I am in Big Spring. It is just an average Walmart. read more

Had a blow out and turned into Walmart because it was near. They didn't take ARI , no big deal, but asked them to trade our spare. Took 2 hours with no one in line. They charged me $15. Knowing I wanted ARI to pay. Nope, had to pay for it myself. Went to Discount Tire down the road.... 4 new tires in 45 minutes. Walmart can suck ass. read more

Possibly the worst Walmart we have ever been to. Up until about 6-8 months ago this Walmart was decent, now it's a complete joke. Employees stand around gossiping with each other, on their phones, and don't bother to ask them any questions.... You'll be met with more attitude and very little help than it's worth. I was told today that when their truck comes in they mark everything in stock and checked in before even taking account of it. Makes no sense! Not shocked to see pallets of noodles and random spices sitting out but then they're almost out of milk ... guessing someone doesn't understand inventory and reordering. I have address expired foods being given in my pick up order with managers on multiple occasions but it falls on deaf ears. We are a smaller town, Walmart is convenient but I would rather drive an hour away than deal with this Walmart for much anymore. I write this as I sit in their parking lot waiting for my groceries that were supposed to be ready an hour ago.... SMH read more

Was in the Big Spring WM and was trying to get prices on a set of tires for my truck. I waited over thirty minutes for the desk associate to come back to the desk. There was only one person working the desk. So I ask him for a particular tire brand and size. After him fumbling around for a few minutes he said they only had one brand that size. When we pulled into the shop to get a tire replaced at 8:00 am there was two vehicles that was getting serviced. We figured it would be about 30 mins tops before they could get to us. It's a simple task to install the new tire with two team members available and a head team member just observing. Also, we jacked the trailer and took our blow out tire for them. It's been 1.5 hrs and they have serviced 1 other vehicle plus air a air tank for someone else. I'm never a rude person but this service is pushing my buttons. We're in Big Spring, Texas and need to get to East Texas soon!! read more

This was a great place to come to work (I worked as a floater pharmacist for the pharmacy) or to shop (after work, I would often do some shopping before heading back home to Midland). This was a great addition for Big Spring, & the location was great, not too far from other businesses (restaurants, etc). It seemed to be one of the big happening places in town. They also carried a lot in stock, & the staff were usually very helpful. read more

I just bought an air purifier. It was the last one of the model I wanted. I bring it home, there's no manuel with it. It's a fabreze model also and someone had stolen the fabreze scent cartridge. The bad thing about it is it had been taped closed by the store as it looked like a returned item. The store didn't even check it out, just put it back on the shelf. i came here today to get my car serviced & i got here at 8am & at 10:30am they were BARELY pulling my car in for a basic service. they do not take appointments, only walk-ins. i am disappointed in the wait for my car to be worked on and the Cashier in the auto dept (Lucero) was falsely quoting people a wait time of 1.5 hours with 6 people in front of them. i've waited 2 hours with ONE person in front of me. horrible customer service & the wait is not worth it. read more

Would've given no stars if possible. Was pressed for time and visited the automotive center. Was set on a full set of 4 tires and left my car there for them to be done. When I chose the tires the woman at the desk confirmed on the computer that they did have 4 in their inventory. I asked her if they could go physically check to make sure and she said there was "no need" because their computer system was absolutely accurate. I left my car there for them to do the replacement and get a call TWO HOURS later expecting them to say the vehicle is ready for pick up... instead they tell me that "something must have been wrong" with the computer because they actually only had 3 tires. I go to pick up my car and instead of just a simple apology from the woman over the wasted time and issue they instead served me attitude and tried to sell me a set that was $200 more expensive. Absolutely ridiculous service. I'm now headed out of town to get the work done because I will never bring a vehicle here again. read more
