I recently bought a rotisserie chicken at the Walmart on Coronado in Blue Springs, MO. When I got it home, I found that it had been on display "way too long" and was dried out to the point where it wasn't edible. I returned to the store the following week with my receipt and spoke to the woman in Customer Service. I was told that I could not get a replacement or a refund unless I brought the chicken back. I have mobility issues and am dependent on the OATS bus to go shopping for groceries. It wasn't cost effective to spend $6 to go back to the store right away for a chicken that cost about the same as bus fare. Several years ago, I had an unsatisfactory chicken at Price Chopper in Blue Springs. That only happened once in over ten years. When I went back there, I was given a refund and another chicken. This is for the AUTOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT The tires are fantastic and bless Troy's heart for trying to help. My issue is with the VERY CONFRONTATIONAL, rude and hateful woman named Sharriann that works at the counter. I simply asked about how long I could expect the tires to take and Sharriann came back with big wide eyes, head bobbing accompanied by a giant attitude -HOW DARE I ask that, correct? Sharriann: we are running behind 15-30minutes. So prolly an hour hour and a half. Sharriann is obviously having a miserable day, which is NOT any of the customers concern. I walked around Walmart for nearly 2 hours, filled my cart and checked out. I moseyed on back to automotive just to see Sharriann's not so cheery face an eye roll and headbob, "can I help you". Me: do you have any idea how much longer we are looking at? Sharriann: huge head bob, eye roll, sigh -I told you I didn't know how long your car was going to take. I TOLD YOU we were behind. Me: you told me you were behind about 15 to 30 minute. My appointment was at 10, nearly 2 hours ago. Sharriann: (raising her voice along with that famous head bob) I DIDN'T GIVE YOU A TIME!!! Me: why are YOU so Confrontational? I asked a simple question. Sharriann: WHAT IS YOUR NAME?? I tell her, she looks me up to tell me it's 80% completed. Me: now wouldn't it have just been easier to do that in the first place, instead of being so hateful? Then comes Troy to the rescue. I live in Independence....and the Walmart here has gotten so bad IN EVERY WAY AND ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK ON SO MANY THINGS that I always drive to this Walmart!!! If a case is locked, it should not take 40 minutes and three phone calls to the service desk to get someone to open it.

I would like to comment on the new shopping charts. They have great new features like a cup and cell phone holders. With that being said not everyone is 6 foot tall. I am 4'11" and they hit me almost to my neck. If I had to lift a child into the seat there would be no way. I have other friends that are short like me and they feel the same way. I come for my mom and like to take pictures to send her so I can make sure I get the correct items and there is zero cell service and no WiFi I spoke to the manager and was told corporate doesn't care to get WiFi All the grocery stores in blue springs has it but this ghetto store does not. BEWARE! If you use their pick-up grocery service they do NOT give you a receipt for the purchase AFTER your purchase. I spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone and email today trying to get a receipt for my purchases. I spoke with 11 different associates. Only on the 11th try did I finally get help from someone at Corporate/Grocery to send me a receipt for my drive-up purchase. I asked each rep to speak to a supervisor but they all said, "they're too busy to talk to you." So, this store will NOT give you a final receipt and will NOT help you get one. Because of today's horrible customer service, I will no longer shop at ANY Walmart---and especially not this one. read more

This Walmarts pickup service has gone downhill fast in around 2 months time. Came for my scheduled pickup at 1, a little after 1 I got a nitice saying my order was delayed. Called and told them I would have to leave and come back later or cancel the order. Then I got a text 5 min later saying order wss ready, turned around to go back, then got ANOTHER text saying it was still delayed. Back now at 3:45. Tried to check in, no number 11 parking spot on their app so I had to move (most spaces were full) now waiting, again. This is supposed to be convenient but it is not anymore. Very dissaponted. Walmart too cheap to hire enough people to do the job, the same inside the store. read more

I like this walmart its clean and fast to get in and out. It is a busy walmart but hey the prices are good. Most of the employees are likely overworked but the ones ive interacted with have been nice and helpful. The guys in the electronics department are great as well. read more

Last night I went there and was looking for bug repellant for indoors and I asked a Walmart employee working the self checkout section where I could find that , and he simply said "I don't know" and walked away. On top of that, I tried to get a money order from their 'money services' and there was no one behind the desk. I waited for 15 min and I even asked an employee to please have someone come to Money Services and she responded with looking me up and down and saying, "what do you need?" Wish I could give a zero start review. The customer service counter had 20 people in line. When I asked a yellow vest if they could call another cashier they blew me off and never provided any assistance. I've been a Blue Springs WalMart shopper for over 40 years, since the first week the first store opened. It's sad to see what used to be a proud, all-American company has evolved to. There is continuously someone begging at the entrance of the parking lot. These days, empty shelves, no carts in the store, then once you get one it's dirty and in poor condition. The store has dirty floors, long checkout lines (even for self-checkout). The Manager has zero customer service skills, so no wonder the other employees don't either. He doesn't even pretend to listen. My shopping experiences there for the past year have been poor, and it's officially worse than waiting at the DMV in my rating. I'm no longer a WalMart shopper. read more

Walmart is known for poor customer service and this evening once again they proved it. The service department in the Blue Springs Missouri store is open from 8:00-8:00. I go in with two wheels in the back of my pick up at 6:30 pm, not a car in the shop. They tell me they don't have enough time to mount two new tires on the wheels. In an hour and half? Then the guy says if something went wrong he wouldn't get them done. He was just to lazy to work! I can dismount and mount two semi tire by hand in thirty minutes and this guy can't do two car tire on an automated machine in an hour and a half. Sad so sad. We shop here at least twice a week and spend over $500 per month. Today we tried to break a $10 bill. NOONE WOULD DO IT! Not even the money center . We talked to a "manager", and she said they don't open their drawers for that because of "smash and grab." Absolutely unexceptable answer. We said we will never shop there again . She said she was sorry. Pfft, you people could care less. They open the drawer to cash checks, which they charge 3 bucks for, of course. Never again, people . I usually shop at the one in Lee's Summit, but since I was in Blue spring waiting for my kids to finish football practice I ran over there for a few things in their grocery department. Their grocery side was 100 times nicer than the Lee's Summit location. It was cleaner, and had 10 times the choices of brands and varieties of their products! The employees working in that section were also way more friendly and helpful than what I'm used to. I may have to just do my Walmart shopping there from now on! read more

Went to the auto section to get an oil change at 2:25 with three ahead of me. They brought my car in to the garage where it sat for the next 2 hours until they completed the oil change. If your getting your oil changed I advise that you elsewhere because Walmart's service is straight dog poop. read more

We contacted this store about doing a bridal registry and were advised that we could come in any time prior to 11 pm. We drove to the location, and waited at the Customer Service desk for 20 minutes to reach the front of the line. There was one clerk, and even though the line was long and a manager came in an out, they made no attempt to assist people. When we finally reached the front of the line, we were advised that the computer that they advised that we would need to wait for the customer service manager. They paged her three times before she made another appearance and when she did arrive, she told us that the computer that they need to do registrys had been broken for the past week and she didn't know when it would be fixed. She made no apologies what-so-ever. When I asked her why they didn't tell us that when we called, she said she didn't know, told us to register on-line, and left. I did send an e-mail to the Corporate Office that was forwarded to the store manager. I did take a few days for them to respond, but I did receive a phone call from the store manager telling me that she had not been aware of the situation and had taken steps to correct it. They have now made a service call to fix the kiosk and they have trained their staff on getting the registry taken care of in the back office in the interim. The fact that they called me and had a plan to rectify the situation greatly improved my previous store rating. read more

Very frustrating to shop there-- I waited 25 minutes in fabrics & no one ever showed up to cut my fabric, despite customer service paging for assistance 3 times! I even called the store while i was waiting to ask that someone be paged again, but it was a waste of time. I gave up and left the fabrics I wanted to purchase on the cutting table. I stopped at Customer Service and told the young lady working there what had happened. She responded that I should have gone to Electronics and asked them to page someone -- clearly she didn't even pay attention to what I'd said to her. I repeated that someone was paged 3 times-- then she asked if I had gotten my fabric cut! No, I sure didn't. Asked her to relay my displeasure to a manager (which I doubt happened). If they don't want to wait on people in a specialty department, they should put a sign up so customers don't waste their time. It is rare that you can find a clerk actually available to help you. read more

Worst Wal-Mart I've EVER been to. It doesn't matter what time or day you go in, they only keep 4 lanes open. Anytime I ever ask an associate a question or for help I get nothing but rude attitude and/or they have no idea what I'm talking about. Just coming here to say I have tried to put up with the ignorant customers and employees of Blue Springs Wal-Mart because of the prices and savings catcher app. The last 4 or 5 times I have stopped by this location, no matter what time of day, the register lines are all the way back into the clothing section with nearby employees doing small, irrelevant tasks. read more

The store manager at this Walmart is an idiot. He seems to go out of his way to belittle his employees and fire people for every slight. The employees who remain are very obviously unhappy.
