I bought an Apple Watch for my daughter on Black Friday. It wasn't the color she wanted so she took it back and wanted to exchange. They wouldn't exchange it but gave her the money in a gift card. HOWEVER the watch was more now (about $100 more)! They say they don't do exchanges for black friday anymore. This just seems like highway robbery to me. You can't exchange an item for the same item and then they lock your cash in a gift card so you can't go anywhere else! Walmart has fallen from where they use to be. I cannot tell you the dread I have walking in here. Since no one checks you out, you are forced to check yourself out. Then one of the self checkouts is blocked off for scan and go which no one has... The meat is questionable. I've seen black ooze coming out of it before. NO one will come unlock any of the cases. People will ignore you until you go away. I wish I could go somewhere else but this is where my medicine is and they have basically everything.( shampoo and such).. read more

Curbside pick up takes on average 30+ min. If you don't call in and ask for mgr you can't get your order, or specifically voice your concern to the employee working. They only have one tall thin young man who works and he works hard. Management needs to get him some help or quit standing around and go help him deliver the orders. Epic fail. Placed a pickup order 4 days in advance. We were flying in out of state and needed to be in and out quickly. My order was canceled at the time of pickup. No record of it ever existing. Walmart camden auto center! Terrible customer service I got there at 6:20pm mind you they. Lose at 7:00pm. I was told they aren't taking anymore oil changes because "it's time to go" is what the guy said at the service desk and the other male laughed as if it was funny. Why does the Walmart in Camden have 2 checkouts open on a Saturday then you go to self check out they only take cards and no cash back. If Walmart isn't going to pay is to checkout our own groceries atleast let us use/get cash! Anytime you go into this store there's boxes blocking isles and no one stocking. I go very often to this place but I'm having a hard time finding assistance. Today I requested help for an item locked up in the car service area. I asked 5 different people and they refused to help. Finally one employee called numerous times but no help came. The service is not acceptable. I wonder why 4 people finally appeared when I kept requesting a manager. I wonder if it is the stores management not capable or unwilling to help the customers. Five people waiting for over 20 minutes! Yes, it was important! Need names, check today's employment roster assigned to that area I21. What is it! I'm not important enough or is it that there is no commitment because it is NOT their business. Half the cash registers were recently replaced with self-checkouts at my store (Harbison Blvd, Columbia, SC), no customer service, items constantly out of stock, aisles/areas blocked with "we're gonna stock these someday" carts, invasive facial recognition scanning at self checkouts, employees no longer know anything about any of the departments they work in. I used to shop twice a month for most of my groceries, toiletries, etc. Now I only come once every 4-6 weeks for a couple of specific items. I do 99.99% of my shopping at Publix. I'm on fixed income, but happy to spend more for better quality, service, etc. read more

This was the worst experience at Walmart. After shopping and going to check out I found nothing but long lines and every single checkout was a self check out. There was no cashiers to check you out. Everytime I go to this location they are never stocked I can go first thing in the morning and it doesn't matter...workers are in the way won't move but Denny really working either, store is filthy, and if I place a pickup order it's never for the time I put always delayed and you never know when it'll be ready which the reason for picking a time is so I got my groceries when I'm available not the other way around....super annoying and of course the only Walmart around...they need to get it together and hire more people...and maybe they need to add another Walmart to the county one just doesn't cut it for the amount of people who live here now. read more

Poorest customer service around. Took 39+ minutes to relieve my online order. Was on hold for over 25 minutes with the operator have to transfer the call back numerous times and no on ever answered. Management needs to do better . Customers deserve better. read more

We had one of Walmarts tires go bad and we paid for the extra care on them so we came in to get replaced. (Note it went bad while we are in another state from home. Checked in and after about 15 mins of waiting after he took our info the clerk walked off. I had to go find him and give him my keys and the wheel lock. We shopped in Walmart for about 2 hours while one of the female employees was just cussing under her breath at shoppers because they put the box back on the shelf upside down. Then we went to check on our vehicle and he never put it in the system. About an hour later they called us and said they can't fix tire (this is after we told them it had a side wall issue and wouldn't be able to fix) and dont have any in stock. Told us it would be 3 more days till in. Do not use this company or store. Also when asked why would anyone buy the service they would reimburse us for it. If we came in the day the manager is here. Went to grocery shop and to return 4 cans of Great Value sauerkraut which were rancid. Was told without a receipt I couldn't return or replace them. Still in date until 2023. I usually spend 150 to 200 each week in this store. I simply went to Food Lion and wasn't near the hassle of Walmart and wasn't to much more money and much cleaner ,people even smile. read more

I have always found the employees very friendly and more than helpful. There are days & times that are less busy where you can zip right through checkout. Even the people, where returns are done, are nice and helpful. This is one store always looks well orderly and clean. I do get frustrated when they no longer seem to stock an item that I have always bought and liked, but even the "Great Value" items are excellent quality. Having moved here to an area with little choice of grocery stores near by, I find this store very pleasant to shop in.......even if I DO spend too much on all the other goodies I find there. read more

Today I had a cringeworthy experience at the Walmart Supercenter in Camden SC. I was assaulted while in the check out line. As I was coming to the register, the patron in front of me had left her cart, blocking the conveyor. I moved the cart ahead to access the conveyor to unload my cart. the conveyor was more than half empty. The patron turned on me and loudly exclaimed, "If you touch my cart again, I'll come up side your head". I told her Ma'am, you have just communicated a threat of violence against my person. That is assault; I should call the police." The cashier clearly heard both sides of the conversation, yet did not call the manager, and indeed, denied that she had heard the treat communicated, saying she was not part of the conversation. I am a hanicapped senior, and my assailant was at least half my age, and bigger than I am. with her rudely violent demeanor, I deemed the threat credible. Without the assistance of the store personnel, I was unable to report this assault to the police. After returning home, I called Walmart to speak to the Front Manager who advised me there was nothing they could have done, and I was at fault because, "You shouldn't have touched her buggy in the first place." To be honest, I am not sure that I feel safe shopping in this Walmart location, anymore. read more

Ashley who works at the bakery helped us even when we were rushed to make a cake for 50 people and she had great customer service and was amazing timeing, a spot on employee. She completed in record timing she was kind and helpful. She is amazing and I think employees like that will make me want to go to walmart more. read more

It has never been easy to buy a rifle or shotgun at Walmart but thing have gone down hill fast. Since the remodeled the Dekalb Walmart and put the guns and ammunition behind a counter you can't even see what they have.There rarely anyone at the counter and you have to wait. I purchased a shotgun and tried to pick it up on Saturday but the sigature pad was not working and I wasted an hour. I tried again Sunday at 11:25 but was told that no one that could do the paperwork would be in untill noon.I asked about the signature bad and found out that it still was not workso I will have to come back yet again. I have been in retail for 60 years and find this unacceptabe. I am sure that Walmart has decreased firearm sales to the point that they are insignificant but my advise would be to get out of the business all completely instead of doing such a poor job and losing cutomers read more

Unprovoked, loud and demeaning response to a simple question even before I entered into the automatic teller space. The question was "Does this teller take cash?" On my last visit they had one automatic teller in that area handling cash. Ebony got started into her extensive schooling and even the employee standing with us walked off. I am a man. Soon after when a woman asks her a question about the automatic tellers, she was polite with a lowered voice and respectful tone. I have never before experienced anything like this in any Walmart. Speaking of having 25 checkout lines available but only having 4 employees on these checkout lines...Geez. I know this is not an original complaint. I have many friends that have said the same thing. Why does my shopping take as long as my check out? Just please, please open another checkout line! I'm very grateful for self-checkout but I usually have fruits...vegetables...alcohol. These things require assistance and I feel like it's easier to have someone check them out. Not to mention there is no customer service on the floor. I shop here no more than I have to anyways. Be sure to check the dates on your produce, breads, and dairy before purchasing. Because they don't. This is the store that has the police called periodically for staff/customer confrontations. The customer service just sucks. We went to sporting goods today. Just needed one box of bullets. Waited for 5 minutes first. Then sent my teenage child looking for staff. They paged overhead. Waited another 5 minutes. No sign of employment. Paged then again. Still no sign of an employee. 5 more minutes pass and my husband goes looking. The page goes out. Crickets!!!! So we asked to have the manager come to sporting goods and low and behold 2 employees show up. We tell her which bullets we want. She says I'm not sure which ones you want. My son calls them by name and then says they are the ones on the bottom right. She says are you sure because they're nonrefundable, but she won't hand them to us so we can look over the box until we specifically ask. Jeremy, the manager did handle our concern professionally. He apologized for the wait and spoke with the departments that were calling overhead for the help and notified them that if someone doesn't show up to call the manager on the walkie talkie so they can come out and help. read more

For the 4th Friday in a row there have been too few registers open on a busy day!! Memorial day the lines were back in the garments. Someone yelled out open more registers!! Today you had 6 out of 16 open it took me longer to check out than to put $135.00 worth of groceries in my buggy! I bring my brother and e both shop on Friday EVERY Friday!! We are going to another store, a lot of people in line said the same thing!! We will pay a little more, but the wait won't be as long, MY time is valuable to me too!!! read more

Very poor service and they'll strip the lug nuts oil changes they sometime want change the oil filter and they charge you for one

Our company ordered a large cake for an honorary celebration of our 40 year employees. We have always in the past used the bakery for that sort of thing, so I didn't worry. When one of our employees went to pick it up and brought it back, I was shocked. That was the ugliest cake I have ever seen that was supposed to come from a bakery. The piping along the outside was wiggly and the writing that I had requested on top was atrocious! We have always in the past received a professional looking cake where they also included some decoration in addition to the writing. Nothing! Everyone here commented that it looked like a child did it, and I agree. I called the store and complained. The lady offered a new cake to replace it. Well, by this time we really didn't have anyone free to go and pick up another cake, so we are having to use the one we have. It is embarrassing!! We will never order another cake for our company from this WalMart again. read more
