After all the hassles with pharmacies over the years,my doc recommended this place 4 years ago and I'm so glad they did. When I walk in,my prescriptions ready. If there's an insurance problem,they go above and beyond to help. I wish I had found this place years ago. I live 10 miles away from this pharmacy in Louisville but I still make the drive for the no hassle experience.

The situation escalated quickly when he accused me of trying to obtain a prescription I wasn't…read moreentitled to, despite the fact that my primary doctor's office had originally confirmed what was needed. The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. They have it noted on my record, and there is a black label on receipts, however, REPEATEDLY, I get home and I cannot open the drug bottle! When I asked about this continued failure, the pharmacist just says, "It was a mistake." I am concerned that If they can't follow a simple directive, they will give me the wrong medication! Today, again, I drove all the way back to the pharmacy to get an EASY-OFF CAP !!! The tech who waited on me kept running his hands thru his somewhat DIRTY LONG HAIR, and not sanitizing his hands before waiting on me. I wanted to say, "I'd take the cap off myself, but I am unable to do this!! Very dirty habit when handling people's drugs! What is wrong with the North Canton #46 Pharmacy??!!
