We walked by and took a look at their rather wide selection and found some real gems. We found quite a few really nice bottles that were selling for about 50% off the expected price. On top of that we got an additional 10% off for buying 6 or more bottles. We are in town for just 3 nights but will definitely head back for more wine before we continue our trip.

Akron has invested heavily in bicycling infrastructure, with more than 122 miles of shared-use paths and approximately 50 miles of bike lanes. These routes allow residents to use bicycles not simply for recreation, but as a practical means of transportation for commuting, shopping, and getting to essential services. Unfortunately, when bicyclists arrive at Dave's Market on Exchange Street, there is currently no safe, usable, and secure bicycle rack where customers can lock their bicycles while shopping. This is more than an inconvenience. I have personally had two bicycles stolen from this location over the past four years, representing approximately $2,000 in losses. I know I am not the only person who has difficulty finding a safe place to secure a bicycle while shopping. The need is particularly important in the East Side/Middlebury area. The area has been identified as a food desert, making access to the grocery store especially important for residents who may rely on bicycles, walking, or other forms of transportation rather than a personal automobile. We appreciate having a Dave's Market in our community and recognize the important service the store provides. However, customers who depend on bicycles for transportation are effectively being told that they cannot safely secure their primary means of transportation while shopping. I respectfully ask Dave's Market to consider installing a high-quality, securely anchored bicycle rack in a visible and convenient location near the store entrance. Ideally, it would be a rack that allows customers to securely lock both the bicycle frame and wheels and provides enough space for several bicycles. This relatively small investment could make a significant difference to people in our community. It would encourage customers to shop at Dave's, support bicycle transportation, reduce the risk of bicycle theft, and demonstrate that Dave's Market recognizes bicycles as legitimate transportation--not simply toys or recreational equipment. I hope Dave's Market will work with the community to find a practical location and solution for secure bicycle parking at 871 Exchange Street. Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. I shop here regularly, and I am always greeted kindly right when I walk through the door. It is one of the smaller stores so the selection is not always as good as some of the larger stores like the one in Cuyahoga Falls, but they do a really good job with the inventory they have to work with. I'm able to find most of what I want quickly. I find that the store is much better organized than it was years ago. When I'm in a hurry I am able to come in, grab what I want, go through the check out and be out very fast. If you live in the Wallhaven area it's a great place to find a bargain.

From name brand cereal (Kashi) to name brand hair care (Pantene) they usually rival Walmart in pricing. They do offer specialty foods now, such as gluten-free packaged food by Bob's Red Mill. Get on their email list because every 3 purchases, they send you $5 off $15. Staff are wonderful, friendly and can point you to anything you are seeking, just ask.

I don't live in Ohio now and this happened almost two years ago. I started the review then but was almost afraid to post it. Today I was cleaning up my drafts and I decided that this one deserved to see publication. So, flashback: I bought a few packs of nuts never thinking that they would not be gluten-free. When I went to return them I realized I had no receipt-- but I did have them in a bag and I used a card and I scanned rewards etc. The cashier insisted that she would not take them back because I "probably just stole" them. I was on a DoorDash pickup so I tossed the bag on the counter and said "just keep them." She complained about me and I was deactivated. That same employee ended up harassing me at a restaurant. "See !$&@!, I hurt you." She said to us as David and I sat at First Watch. I stared at her before I said "Thank You." The amazing thing is that I had only great things to say about this location. What changed? I dyed my hair green and was suddenly no longer "okay." I never went back.

They have some of the best prices around. The pharmacist seem to really care and get to know their clients. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The store itself is great too because they have a lot of different items food drugs, cleaning supplies, dog food, birdseed, etc. kind of like a mini Walmart without all the lines and real cashiers to check you out.
