I did an online grocery order to be delivered from this store on 8/8/26. I waited for the order that was never delivered. When I called they said they did not have an order but my bank clearly showed where they had taken $180.46 from my bank acct. The store representative told me to contact corporate. When I spoke to the representative (Jonel, in the Philippines) he told me he had "released" my funds & it would now be up to my bank. The funds were still on hold 9 days later so I spoke to my bank who told me Walmart still had a hold on the $. I called Walmart corporate back and finally got to speak to a "supervisor" ( Ash, in Egypt) who told me they could hold my money up to 10 days, despite what the previous rep had said. To date, Walmart still has my $180.46 with no signs of returning it to me. read more

Everytime I order my groceries from the Jefferson Ave. Walmart in Cookeville TN. I always have to make a return, especially from the produce dept. the green leafy lettuce I have ordered for the last 3 times at least half of the lettuce is brown and I have to throw it away! They can obviously see this when they putting an order together and should NOT send it out. I get deli meat AND bread that is 3 or 4 days away from expiration...and today my drinks were left at the store! And my problem with that is if you reorder those few items you have to order at least $35 worth of groceries to meet the minimum requirement or you get a fee added to your order!!! There should be an exception to this rule, as long as you just order what was damaged, out of date or left out of your order you should NOT have to place another minimum due amount, you should be able to order those items I just mentioned and not get charged a fee for doing so!!! It's ridiculous!!! Thank you for listening and I hope you take my complaint into consideration, I'm sure there are alot of other people that feel the same way!!! Does anyone know why the music outside the store is so extremely loud? It is loud enough to hear at the car wash area with your car windows rolled up. I was told by the manager at the Walmart on Jefferson in Cookeville since the covid it's loud to discourage shoppers to hang around in the parking lot and that they also do announcements over the system off and on to discourage shoppers to hang around. When I told the manager that I have never heard any announcements regarding the covid or whatever he says is announced outside he begged to differ. Anyone heard these announcements? This Walmart was nice. It is located nicely right off the interstate. The employees were very helpful especially Philip who greeted at the door. There were several areas that were in disarray such as clothes were on the floor. It may be because customer behave in a careless manner and do not pick up after themselves because I saw a coke can someone had set down randomly on a shelf and saw a fast food cup sitting down as well. read more

Not sure who is worse, the clientele or the people who work there. Whenever I see a normal person shopping there we always look at each other like 'what a coincidence, there's another human'. Same for the employees, yes there is the odd normal person working there, but it's unusual. Usually, normal ppl save themselves and don't work there very long. I never went into stores where the cashiers and customers discuss each and every item before and as it's being rung up. It's like they're fascinated by shiny things. If you want to confuse ppl in this area just wave something shiny in front of them and it's over. They're in a trance. They're kind of like goldfish. The goldfish swims around the bowl and by the time he goes around once and sees the other fish, his brain is so small it's like he's seeing the other fish for the first time. You'd think these ignorant cashiers or customers would say, ya know I'm kinda holding up these other nice people, and just be brief and move along; but they never seem to do that. It's as if they're the center of all creation and you really don't matter. read more

Used the grocery pick up because like other posters I believe it's a pretty terrible place to be...overcrowded, few employees, long check out lines. On a Friday evening my husband travelled from a neighboring town to pick up grocercies. I received a 2 hour delay notice only after he was already there. They then claim to not even have our order in their system.I have all the emails to confirm. No manager there, and the day shift had left and the young man I spoke to was very confused...in life in general. You can't even get an apology, explanation, etc. Very poor service in general. It's a small town so options limited but I'll definitely be looking to do business elsewher. read more

I bought this chicken at the COOKEVILLE, TN WALMART for dinner on March 2, 2011 about 3:00pm. I got home and while eating seen the food was RAW. Out of my disgust I called the store mad as hell. The store Manager did not care and LAUGHED about it. It was so disgusting and they only gave us a refund with no other reaction. The return counter Customer Service girl acted like a kid about it. The greatest thing since sliced bread! Not really, but they do sell sliced bread and unsliced bread too. I really wish there was a better alternative. I do most of my shopping elsewhere now, but there are some things I need that the other places don't have, so i'm forced to shop here. Everytime I shop here it seems like they stop selling my favorite products and/or replace them with other brands/products. Finding someone to help you is almost impossible, their selections seem to get smaller by the day, most of the time they only have a couple of checkout lanes open even if they're packed (thank the lord for the self checkout lines). I despise wally world some much this days, I'm seriously thinking about how to stop shopping there completely. read more

This Walmart is usually a busy place. The photo center was very helpful in getting my online prints ready for pick-up. The photo center associate noticed a smear in my photos and he immediately reprinted them at no cost to me. I like this Walmart because it is centrally located in town and offers just about everything you could want. read more

Can you give less than one?!!!? Ordered approx 300 pics for FB banquet needed ASAP. Spoke w/ associate..she knows I need them ASAP- had to change the paper-- left to wait on customers (now on her 5th)- continues to find customers to wait on instead of changing the paper OR calling for more help!!!
