Stopped at the auto center and we had bought our tires two weeks ago at another Walmart in another state. Tire pressure was low as we had a nail, where it could not be fixed as it had to be replaced. The lady at the counter, I didn't get her name went above and beyond by calling and trying to find us a Walmart that was on our route that carried that particular tire in stock. This store is just awful. Was at deli, simply wanted a lb of sliced turkey. Waited patiently for several minutes while the lady put out rotisserie chickens. She finally acknowledged me and said "it's gonna be a while" Really??? I walked away. Horrible customer service. read more

A 1 is to good for this store. My Wife is driving to Florida from Tennessee. She has 5 Minor young children with her. Last night she had a blowout. She was able to get roadside assistance out to her area and get a spare tire put on. This morning she visited the morons at this Walmart garage. She bought 2 new tires and had them installed the idiots installed them on the front of the vehicle. When she was leaving she saw a sign that said that new tires should always be placed on the back when she asked the tech about this he stated that she could just sign a waiver that said she understood it was dangerous. She advised she wanted it to be corrected as she did not want to take any chances, The tech was upset but they did move the tires. When she got the bill she was advised that a lug nut was stripped on the vehicle. Mind you this was not stripped before she asked them to move the tires. They advised that they could not replace the lug nut but that she could go to O Reilly's and just put a new one on herself she went to o' Reilly's and bought the lug nut however on inspection of the nut it was found that its actually a damaged bolt. Now my wife has to drive over 300 miles with a missing lug nut and Walmart also charged her double for 9.99 for the lifetime balance on both new tires plus rotation on all 4 tires. When I called to complain I spoke to Nakita the ACC manager she advised me that my wife demanded to have the tires placed on the front of the vehicle against the techs advice and then when she saw the sign at the register she told them to put them on the back, (LIE). When I asked her about the lug nuts she advised that this happens all the time and it was not because of her pissed off employee. She did offer that if we wanted to replace the lug nut that we could bring it by and her "tech" would be happy to fix it. As far as the additional charges those were my wife's fault and there was nothing she could do about it she should have known better to have the tires placed on the rear and mind read that this is Wal-Marts policy. They're always out of EVERYTHING! It's one being clusters mess, there's always stocking carts out in the middle of isles. I hate this Walmart, a trip that should only take 15-20 minutes takes much longer because you have to go around all their crap, and I end up not being able to get everything that is on my list. read more

ONE star was the worst I could give, otherwise, I'd give it ZERO stars ! ...this store, unlike most Walmarts is horribly managed...the produce department is the worst. Vegetables/fruit are usually out of date...green bananas bought on Saturday have turned yellowish/brown and are over ripe by Monday... mealy tomatoes, plums which look good on the outside are brown on the inside...the list goes on. I have shopped Walmart in Albany, Warner Robins, and others but in comparison the store in Cordele is absolute terrible. They also seem to wait at the highest traffic hours and days to restock which creates big log jams in the aisles...most of the floor associates are very nice...it's just a shame that management fails miserably. And this is not an isolated occurrence because I shop there every Saturday from about 9-10 A.M....Cordele is a smaller town and other than Walmart our choices are limited but if we had a Publix/Winn Dixie, etc., I would shop there instead and would never return to Walmart. PLEASE evaluate and replace some of the management with managers who actually care and take pride in what they are being paid for. read more

My mom went to this WalMart to purchase some flowers to give to the ladies in her church on Mother's Day. She found some small potted plants with a sign in front of the flowers that showed the price to be $4.98. She wanted to buy 19. As the girl was ringing them up mom noticed they were ringing up at $5.99. Mom questioned it, and showed the cashier where she got them and the sign in front of the flowers and the cashier began questioning her in an accusatory manner as if she had swapped out the price sign or picked up the flowers from another section. She even commented that 19 flower pots could not even fit in the space where they were claimed to be sitting. The cashier got a manager, and he too began questioning them as if they had switched the signs out. My friend who was also there with my mom recommended that they review the security video if they needed proof. After much ado about a dollar difference The manager finally told the clerk to ring it up at the price shown. I know stores like this get a lot of dishonest people trying to rip them off, but this was a little old lady, and the sign was still there, and the attitudes in general of the cashier and manager were very surly to begin. Get some customer training guys and improve those nasty attitudes! read more

Auto service dept is very slow and disorganized. Hard to get help. Took 2 hours for oil change even though they were not busy. Recommend you pay $5 more at a local place and save yourself the headache and hours wasted. read more
