My Walmart of choice is on South Irby Street in Florence SC, not a perfect store but a group that works hard to deliver the Best and take care of each customer. I have a 9 year old German Shepherd who absolutely loves Ole products, especially the bacon treats. I came home yesterday having bought the 2 bag box as is my custom and as usual she went crazy upon seeing the box. So I opened the box which generally contained 2 full size bags, yet i discovered 2 clear plastic bags with "End Pieces ", Not full strips. Candy, my Shepherd as only she would looked at the end Pieces in my hand, then at the box, then at me and she walked away. Maybe it's just me but I heard no fanfare or decision from the Arkansas family to replace 2 regular bags of bacon strips with " clear freezer like bags of ends and pieces" Why was this magic trick played on the loyal Walmart customers and on our pets, without any fanfare? I will say Walmart has added a description at the bottom of the box, calling these; "Chews for Dogs" otherwise the box is unchanged even promoting in pictures " Full Size Quick & Tasty Bacon Strips ", even the caption: " Barkn Bacon Original" Anyone else see the issue with that?? The Walmart employee Rebecca at self checkout was very rude. Told us we couldn't use self checkout out, even though we do every Saturday. Another customer had to talk to us being kind because she was rude. If you hate your job, get a new one or stay home. it takes more energy being hateful than kind. read more

Wal-Mart, Irby Street, Florence, SC has the WORST customer service desk in the Universe. I have had many negative experiences at this Walmart, however, tonight takes the cake! Long story short, I entered the store @ 6:57 pm. I went to the customer desk where Ms. Letha Presscoot, was the associate on duty. She is truly the model and definition of poor customer service. She gave unsolicited rudeness and a poor attitude! There were no customers in line, she was texting on her cell phone, and it was evident she was not busy (management could review the security video to verify what I was saying was true), so I don't understand the cause for her to feel entitled to speak to customers rudely. I explained to Ms. Presscout that I wanted to pay on my Sam's Club credit card. She replied in an unprofessional tone, "You need to make that payment at Money Services, and they are closed. I replied, "I know Money Services is closed, however, I know you can pay your Sam's card at any register (as I held up my card to show her)". Then she looked at me with an attitude to say, "I am going to take your payment, this time, but I am not going to do it again". I replied, "Nevermind", then went looking for the manager. Mr. Lance, the Front End coach, listened to my complaint and understood what I was saying, which resulted in, the both of us returning to the customer service desk, where he took my payment. What is upsetting, as a paying customer, why would you (an associate/employee) think I need you to do me a favor, as opposed to doing your job? With associates like Letha Prescott with the combination of poor sales, and ongoing poor customer service performance within the company, it's no wonder that Walmart is going down in sales. Walmart I'm done with you! Now after you forced us to self checkout you can only self checkout less than 15 items! Well how about open more than 3 checkout lanes! Put those people standing around guarding the self checkouts to work! I used to love going to Walmart! Not anymore! Well Covid is no excuse for something that has been going on long before we ever heard of it! It's sad that you go into a store now and cash payment is not able to be done without having to wait longer than a credit card. Now that is supposed to be because of Covid, but it would be so nice and so easy to put a sign on the registers if any on any particular day that even can take cash, the legal American currency. But apparently that is not in anyone's job description there! This store is supposed to be a great store...by who's standard I don't know. It's not the best one I've ever been in. Well some of y'all have eliminated the problem of having to go into a Walmart... but by doing so you have made it almost Life threatening for the rest of us who do go into the store. Yes I am speaking of those people who shop for you. They will almost run you over...my husband are has been hit and knocked into another person more than once. Apparently they get paid for the amount or persons that they shop for. Otherwise why go so fast and not care about the people that are actually in the store. Things have changed in so many ways now...2020 was the 1st of who knows how many years from the pit of HELL. The pandemic is still killing people y'all, but we can still be nice, kind, caring and above all remember to treat people the way you want to be treated. And y'all if you are on the Kinky Side and are wanting to be hit are something... y'all just keep your little selves at home till that s**t is over! We don't need any more fighting in the Walmart Stores! All I'm sayin is everyone be nice respectful and helpful...working there or shopping. And people please just wear your stupid mask over your nose and your mouth! If you don't then you may as well not even wear the blessed thing! Now I know this is just a time I will never get back and it will change not one thing at Walmart, because people have to care about it to change anything. And the people around here just don't care about doing a good job no matter what that job is. This is the WORST walmart in south Carolina! Two weeks ago I purchased a fitbit versa and it didnt work had to come back to the store for customer service to tell me it shouldn't have even been put back on the floor.....(ya think) whatever it happens! So a week ago I got our daughter the lol suprise doll house and something told me to open it up and put it together for her birthday (tomorrow) guess what!? Someone opened up all the dolls and kept them leaving just the house!!! People get paid to check this stuff out I'm waisting my time and gas and money for a company that doesnt care or respect me! Not to mention what are we supposed to tell our 6 year old that doesnt care about why she doesnt have what she asked for she doesnt care about the excuse we will have to give her because this Walmart is so slack they couldn't check to make sure things are there! Kudos to Debra in the Returns Dept for processing my return and new order in a timely matter to catch a bus back to the city that only runs every hour. At first it did not seem possible as I watched the bus returning to Walmart from the outer west suburbs on PDRTA app on my cellphone and, as the bus neared South Irby Street, the entire Walmart system suddenly failed. However, as soon as the system came back up, Debra worked quickly to make sure I would not miss that bus. I made it outside with my new comforter just as the bus was loading passengers. Wonderful. A very clean and bright looking store but there is absolutely no way to get anything resembling customer service in there. It is almost like no one works there. Everyone complained that Wal-Mart never has any registers opened so what do they do? The add 10 'self check-out' registers. Once again, customer service is gone. read more

Worst place to shop, no longer giving cash when you bring something back that's B's I hope they go out of business

It's 3 mins from my house but I would rather drive across town to the other Walmart than waste a minute in this one. The shelves are never stocked, the produces is awful, the employees are... Well do they even have any employees? When was the last time you seen more than 2 lanes open? Never! You'll spend more time waiting in checkout than actually shopping. I've never spent less than 25 minutes in line at this store. Save yourself the hassle and time and just go to the other store or the market. read more

If you are waiting to get your prescription filled. You will die before that happens. Dropped off prescriptions afternoon was only supposed to take one to two hours to fail it is now 8 o'clock they are still not filled. I do believe Walmart needs to investigate their pharmacy department revamped it or hired a new pharmacist. It would not be so bad at this was The first time that it ever happen is happened to me four or five times going to a new pharmacy. read more

I hate it that this Walmart is in the same plaza where my partner works. It makes it the most convenient but I HATE shopping here. Long lines, rude and slow cashiers, NO management to be seen, no one walking the isles to help you find things. I've complained before but nothing changes. Also, don't use the bathrooms. They are always disgusting. Outside the stalls looks okay but as soon as you open one up to use it, well, let's just say its enough to make you hold it. I really wish this place would clean up their act because it really is so convenient to shop here and they have a great selection at great prices. Just yesterday I had a cashier that was so busy arguing rudely with her manager that I ended up bagging my own items because I was sick of waiting and if possible, I would have scanned them as well! And the manager was right there and did nothing about her attitude OR her lack of work. More than once I've gone in for a quick purchase and had to wait so long to check out that I put my items down and leave. I'm usually not impatient as I have worked as a cashier before but when the lines are so long that they're ALL going back into the shopping area and when you finally get up to check out, the cashiers are rude, there is no excuse. read more
