Today was my first time stepping into the new building (which has been here for several years). My mom was picking up a prescription that her doctor had sent over. When you walk in the place smells like potpourri and to be honest it is a little overwhelming. But this place has pretty much anything you could want. They sell apparel sporting the local high school; as well as your major Michigan teams. They also have little things such as pain relievers and other items you would come to find in the pharmacy section at any major retailer. The gal behind the counter was very nice. She had a smile on her face and spoke as if she does not hate her life and or job. She even laughed when I made my little comments...but I am sure that was only because she had to. The place was clean and did not appear to feel or look cluttered. We didn't spend too much time in there as typically you don't feel too hot when your doctor sends over a prescription. But from what I can see its a neat place...and something you'd expect to find in a small, quiet town.

When I called them all I had to do was give my name and they were able to look it up in their system and get it for me in a timely manner. The gal I spoke to on the phone was very nice, and she was also the one that waited on me when I went to pick it up. This CVS is inside the Target store and was very easy for me to access as it was right by the front door. The fact that there was no line was even better. I will be happy to use this location while we are in the area.

Without saying anything to me, she walked over to the photo counter. She then looked at me and said, "Come here," while rolling her eyes. Once she found my order, she placed it on the counter near her to scan and simply said, "There you go, thanks." She didn't hand me my photos or make any effort to provide even basic customer service. she just stood there waiting for me to take them myself. I completely understand that everyone has bad days, and I try to give people grace for that. However, I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience when I was simply there to pick up something I had paid for. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because a small interaction like this can really affect a customer's experience. I still like Holland CVS, but I definitely left feeling disappointed by the way I was treated today.
