Wow what a clean and quiet WalMart! I'm impressed. I live near the Henrietta WalMart and this is no comparison. The registers were all open with friendly cashiers. The aisles were clean and well stocked. If I need to shop at WalMart I would make the 30min drive out here to avoid the one I live near! Henrietta should take some notes! read more

Paid cash today at one of the registers, and was given back all singles, as no $5 or $10 were in their drawer. Went to customer service and was told they could not open their drawer. Waited for a manager for 5 minutes and none came, exited upset. read more

We have been here countless times. It seems to have been improving the past few years for the most part. They are a bit too strict on the covid rules tho. They have too many floor markers where you can only enter aisles on 1 side and it gets really annoying. The markers isn't a HUGE problem tho so I'm not taking any stars off for it. This location does deserve a higher rating then it currently has and it has lots of products in lots of categories. I really like the vide variety of display electronics so you can test the different ones out. Always clean. The lines do get pretty long tho so that is a bit of a problem read more

Regular staff noticeable, more noticeable and helpful than in any other Walmart I've been in. Midsummer we were looking for pool/lake supplies and not surprisingly they were decimated, kind of hoped and expected for more with their proximity to Conesus Lake. read more

This Supercenter is a big improvement on the old one, and includes a Grocery store, Photo Center, Auto Center, Pharmacy, and Garden Center. As with any Walmart, don't expect stellar service, but the prices and selection here can't be beat anywhere locally. This Walmart is one of the cleanest I have been to. The staff there is nice and the wait lines are shorter here than most other places.

What a sad excuse for a store this has become. I remember attending the Grand Opening and how impressed I was with the way the store was stocked and how helpful the associates were. I loved the shop online/pickup feature and have used it countless times. Now, and yes part of the issue is COVID-19, there's issues with stock, there's issues with 'manpower', there's issues with no cart availability and there's a longer than usual wait. I really like Walmart and that's why this is so sad. I was also informed that many associates have called out because of COVID. I certainly hope this Geneseo, NY Walmart can recover and once again become the store it used to be. read more

Walmart Geneseo, NY. On Saturday 1/14/2023 at roughly 5:30pm my wife and I went through the self-checkout since Walmart don't believe in customer service or paying people a living wage. We scanned all of our items and paid. Got ready to leave register and realized we forgot to scan and pay for a shirt. Still at the register we scanned shirt and paid for it. As we started to walk away from the register literally 5-6 feet, we were immediately stopped not even 1/4 away through the self-checkout registers by a Walmart employee holding what looked like a small table because she thought we were trying to leave without paying for our last article. She barely seen that we had 2 receipts immediately looked at her phone/tablet and said sorry you may go. Never looked at receipts or items in our bag. WTH is that? Somone watching the lines most have informed her something looked fishy and it bit them in the backside. My wife and I felt violated and were like wtf. We ended up laughing about it later but that was totally wrong on Walmart's part. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the Geneseo, NY Walmart. Lack of assistance when I am in the store, lack of assistance calling into the store. Poorly stocked and sloppy. I just went through the struggle of trying to reach customer service. The phone will ring 30 times and then DISCONNECT! This happened three times! Walmart Corporate has been called and the management for this store will be contacted. So sad, I truly miss the days when the employees and staff were happy to help you. One of the better Walmart stores in the region. They have a wide selection of goods and a generally competent staff. If you don't like waiting in line, avoid the busy times. They don't always have enough checkout lanes open. read more
