This Walmart Supercenter has a good selection of groceries, clothing, shoes, accessories, office supplies, cleaning supplies, health products, beauty products, pet supplies, electronics, furniture, children's toys, etcetera. This store also has a pharmacy, auto-care center, vision center, garden center, photo center, salon, and more. I recently shopped around most of the store's departments. The shelves and racks looked fully stocked and organized. I felt surprised to see some name brands such as Reebok. I also felt surprised that the store kept hygiene/beauty products locked up in a special section with an employee monitoring. The prices for most merchandise were about as low as you can find anywhere. I bought about 10 items, including a rug, cat treats, and hygiene products. I visited Walmart's auto service today for an oil change, and everything went smoothly until checkout. The associate assisting me placed my car key in front of her, told me the total, and processed my payment. Afterward, she printed my receipt and placed it on the opposite side of the register, then simply said "have a good day" and stepped away. I was left having to reach across both sides of the counter to retrieve my key and receipt, which felt unprofessional and inconsiderate. A simple handoff would have made a big difference in the overall customer experience. read more

Their pharmacy genuinely does not care. They take their sweet sweet time refilling scripts without any effective communication. I put in a refill request on my mental health med on 10/19. I only just today, 10/25 received a notification that it was ready. They are also charging me full price even though it has always been covered by my insurance and my insurance has not changed. They are being so negligent there. For your own medical safety, go elsewhere. They don't care if your doctor calls them and tells them it needs refilled either. read more

It's been quite a few years since I've been to Walmart in Greensburg. I like their prices, and often buy groceries online from them. But there was one thing there yesterday that concerned me greatly... their bathrooms are absolutely filthy! Not just Alittle bit dirty... filthy, as in I was afraid to touch anything. Not only that, but while I was in there, A young lady wearing a Walmart uniform came in, obviously used the restroom- and left, without washing her hands. My friend and I later observed her working back in the food area. This is going to limit me from buying any pre- made food from the store. I know things can get busy and hectic, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt- but Now that I'm back in the area, I can go there more often for my elderly mother's grocery order... and I will I keep checking their restrooms.... They are the first thing I check if I'm purchasing food anywhere. Common Walmart, I know you can do this! Your dressing rooms were nice and clean... just Alittle effort would make your restrooms that way too. read more

We were happy to move back to Western PA a couple of years ago after traveling in the military for decades, and this Walmart was one of our favorite stores in the area. That all has changed now with the awful redesign of this particular Walmart. The bottom line up front is that the new design is awful and the sooner Walmart corrects the poor design, the better. The register setup could not be worse will all of the registers being fed from two directions in a way that self checkout and associate lanes wait in line together with individuals from both entry directions confused on who is next. This is a disaster now and will be a real mess at Christmas time... If by then anyone is still shopping here. The response from customers in the store to the redesign has been the most vocal and worst comments I've ever witnessed in any store. The person at corporate that approved this redesign should be fired. The consulting company that suggested the design should never be contracted in the future. Customers hate it, the employees appear as upset. It is awful. If that is not bad enough, when the registers were installed the lane on the other side of the checkout is now more congested and other customers checking out were just as angry as we were. With the way that product lanes are being rearranged in the store with the tall shelving units, has anyone even considered how difficult it is now to find other people from the family you came with when inside of the store? It is difficult to look down the lanes for those you are in the store with when you try to link up after looking for different items in the store. What is next, is Walmart going to add a companion shopper feature located to the store app to locate others you came n with? My understanding from the service desk is that this is a design we will be stuck with for 8 years with redesigns planned for every 8 years... guess we will be dealing with it or shopping elsewhere. When Target created a mess with a redesign we simply stopped shopping at Targets. We have not set foot in a Target in 18 months now. If the other Walmarts in our area convert to this awful design, I guess we will be ordering more and more from Amazon instead of what was once one of our favorite stores. For anyone at corporate that might see this... Walmart has been killing Target on earnings per square foot of stores, so why would you start to implement a design that resembles the competition you are beating out? In the military we always had a saying of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I sure wish someone in Walmart leadership had military experience, because this mission to redesign the store is a lost battle. Please don't screw up Latrobe, Blairsville, and Indiana! Cut your losses here before you screw up any more stores! Maybe it works in California or some other locations, but from all of the grumbling we have heard since the redesign of the Greensburg, PA store, you have demonstrated you do not understand this market. read more

I ordered some groceries for New Year's Eve. I live in a secured building. When the driver left my order in between the outer door and the secured doors, which is warm and I ordered perishable items, they never called or rang the intercom system to let me know when my groceries were delivered. Also, the hot dog buns I ordered were moldy. Who ever did the shopping needs to be more observant to things like that. I don't know if these people just didn't want to work on New Year's Eve or what, but I will never use this service again. This is a horrible practice. read more

My expectations are extremely low. This Walmart really showed me an all new low for all Walmarts. A friend and I came here to get simple camping food, produce, lunch meat, bread, drinks, etc. We walked into the produce section and we thought "oh must be truck day" since the produce was extremely bare. As we walked through the store we noticed all aisle were all torn apart or barely anything on them. There was barely any selections to choose from. We tried to ignore the lack of products and cleanliness of the shelves. We were doing great until we got to the check out and our cashier, Kathy, let out a huge burp. It was disgusting. She then proceeded to sniff our products and was just completely weird. The burp was rude. Sorry Walmart but you could strive to be just a little bit better. read more

I bought 4 jars of Rao's tomato sauce here. When I got home, I checked the dates on the jars BUT THERE WERE NO DATES. Be careful when you buy things at this Walmart, or probably any Walmart, BEFORE you leave the store. Also, many cans of Progresso soup were dented. Walmart may be cheap but I think you're taking a risk. Check for the date on the item and don't buy dented cans. read more

Be warned, at this very moment, this location is in the midst of a remodel. With that said, everything that you love to hate of Walmart is amplified. Annoying customers that do not move but expects you to move, employees that work hard to ignore you and items that are placed in odd places because it's fun to watch us all suffer. My recent visit was a mystifying experience. Every single item I wanted they had, but not where I expected it to be. What should have been a ten minute run in and out turned into a 45 minute 'Where's Waldo' book reading. When I was finally ready to leave I decided to use the self checkout. I love these machines making for a quick exit without having an awkward exchange with an ill-tempered employee. This Walmart in Greensburg is the worst. Check out lines are always backed and cashiers seem to have no sense of urgency as to moving things along. I waited in line behind several other customers today while the cashier had a good old chat with two lady customers she was checking out. Even after their transaction was completed they still stood their talking and laughing while the line up of customers waiting were visibly getting impatient. Where is the training for these store cashiers? Where is the front end management who's job it is to keep the check out lines moving? Where is the store manager who oversees it all? Giant Eagle and Target are only 0.4 miles away on Rt 30 so do yourself a favor and bypass this hell hole and shop at places that don't have large mouse droppings under the self checkout lanes. I avoided Walmart for years since college, on principle, or whatever. Then I moved to Greensburg, and shopping at Walmart suddenly became both a necessity and a regular occurence. And you know what? This location isn't so bad. The groceries seem pretty good quality (even if there's not an actual meat/seafood counter) and they have everything I'm looking for. I got things like a bookshelf and lamps when I first got here, and it's still my go-to for groceries, office supplies, and other random necessities. When I needed a printer, I found the one I needed online and purchased it shop-to-store. It was ready within a couple hours (and I didn't have to wander aisles looking for it), and they had the ink I needed, too. At this location, parking is atrocious, lines are long but move quickly, and employees are friendly enough. Came to the auto center today for an oil change. It was an hour before they closed, so we knew we were cutting it close. When we asked if we could be seen, we were told no because there were only two attendants. Of course we understood. When getting back in our car, we saw attendants leaving, and no cars in the bay. It was a mistake getting online order. My pick up was between 4-5 and I came at 4:45. There were only a like 2 cars that were hear before me. I waited till 5:20 to get my order. Cars came after me and got there groceries before me. They had more stuff that I ordered too which doesn't make sense. They apologized for the wait but I should have gotten my pick up way before not waiting for almost 30 minutes when I was supposed to be here between 4-5 so it should have been ready. Although I'm not a huge fan of Wal-Mart anywhere, this one tops my list of least favorites. This one and the Johnstown one. It is always crowded...the only good times to go there are very early in the morning or very late at night, otherwise, expect to wait in long lines behind people who haven't bathed for a week. I waited in a customer service line for 15 minutes last week on a weekday behind someone screaming at her child with greasy hair...then I get to the front, and some girl is trying to return a filthy broken laptop that she 'said' she just bought that day. The creepy people were surely out this morning. Although Wal-Mart may have good values sometimes, I don't like supporting this company that runs shady Wal-Mart banks in other countries, charges more tax when you use coupons, and does not pay their employees enough. Go to Target or Giant Eagle across the road...the people there are cleaner, the prices aren't that different (especially on sales!), and the stores are both much less crowded than the Greensburg Wal-Mart. read more

The driest celery lives here. I'm surprised about how many containers of veggies are already open. I have 5 children and they're all vegan, which means my whole house depends on vegetables. Walmart does not supply me or my family with fresh veggies. My celery was BROWN. Super nasty! They move every item in the store at least 4 times a month! I can never find anything anymore! Gotta love WalMart. They have everything, and it always seems like they have it for less. Not to mention, they are open 24/7!! I cam here for the heckticness of Black Friday, and all the workers seemed distressed, but they tried their best to help out, and they always do. I was frustrated that no one could show me where a certain set of picture frames were, but It was Black Friday, so I won't complain too much. The parking lot is incredibly busy and congested...all the time (as is the entire shopping center), and the store is very unorganized and cluttered. Went to get a oil change and new wipers for my car. Took over an hour and a half. There scanners were not working to check the status of your car beeing serviced. And when they finally told me it was done I asked if they put my new wipers on. They did not know I wanted that. I told them I told them when I came in. Then the guy pulls out the most expensive wipers in stock. I told him I want the basic. He finally did what I asked and I was out of there. I will never go there again. I travel from North Versailles PA to Greensburg since the Walmart here in N versailles s a freekin PIG STY.. Now the Greensburg store is slowly becoming the same. For the past several months, I can go with a note with 25 items on it and come home with hopefully 18 or less of them.. Shelves are never stocked good. I have 5 cats and buy tons of Purina cat chow canned food and now there is mostly an unstocked shelf and today NONE of what I buy at all..
