In each dept, the employees are super helpful, and kind. I use the pharmacy there also. What I'm about to tell you is the gospel truth. The pharmacist knew more about what medications I'm allergic to than the physicians assistant (P.A.) in the ER did even though it's all in both of their computers! The pharmacist called the P.A. The pharmacists at Walgreens are extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, receptive, kindhearted and responsive. I have no doubt they have saved lives by being aware and then acting on behalf of the customer when they see a discrepesensey. .

We call in a script, wait until the date and time the system assures us it will be ready, and the staff literally doesn't even know about the request. Go anywhere else for Rx help, seriously. It's nothing fancy but if you need anything by manner of toiletries, medications (they also have a pharmacy), first aid items, etc they've got it. I've definitely bought my share of aloe more than once here after a wicked sunburn from the beach. They also have a small toy selection, a few self-care/beauty things, etc. Pretty much anything you forgot to throw in your suitcase you can get replaced here. I also absolutely love that they still have the old soda fountain counter in the back. We love going and splitting a soda or a float like we're kids in the 1950s. The one thing I do miss is the large selection they used to have of beach toys and whatnot. Every visit we'd buy a kite to fly at the beach, or something goofy to take to oval like a big beach umbrella, chairs, or blow up floaties. It was always the highlight of our trip and I miss it!

In all that time I have received exceptional attention. Once, recently, a single prescription was not delivered on time and when I called to find out what the happened the response was surprise with immediate remedying of the situation and bountiful apologies. Only once in 22 years and yet here on Yelp I read two negative reviews. Hard to figure out how that could have happened. I have waited over a month for refills with no movement, last week my husband followed up on these scripts and was told they weren't filling them since I already had a refill. I have new insurance and these aren't controlled substances so my husband reiterated to fill it now. Today after my husband received a refill and I spoke to the driver asking where mine was. I called the pharmacy and was transferred twice on my lunch break. I gave up and am finding a new pharmacy for myself and my family because they have proven once too many times by delaying scripts and writing the wrong scripts on pill packs they can't be trusted. Our health is at stake with these people.
