Store operator on 3/09/2026 at 6:00pm should be fired. Called to check in for pickup order and nobody would answer so I called the store operator and she kept putting me on hold over and over again instead of actually getting ahold of the pick up department or letting me know anything at all. If you're the store operator you should probably do what you're paid for. Walmart is wasting money employing this person that won't do the job. Have now been sitting in the parking lot waiting for 2 hours and had to chase down an employee loading groceries so they could help me check in because I guess I have to do the operators job for her. read more

I've never done a pick up at this location that went smoothly. every time there's some kind of glitch and I end up waiting at least 30 minutes. read more

Worst department to pick up delivery. Expect your Walmart app to tell you order ready for pickup...when it's actually not. You'll be sitting in your car for an hour wondering why everyone that showed up after you gets there delivery first. You'll find that nobody cares in this department. read more

Far too much is locked up with screens watching everywhere. This does not deter the criminals who have other ways to steal and make everything extremely inconvenient for the real customers, who just want to get a product and be in and out quickly. No one trusts self-checkout anymore, due to some Walmart employees at other stores and in-store security people at other stores falsely accusing decent people who just missed scanning items accidentally or left an item underneath the cart. This store does boot do that at all as far as I know. If the person has money to pay, then they should just allow them to pay and leave. If it ever happens again, then maybe it was not a mistake. That's just IMO. This particular store does not harass customers at all or falsely accuse, as far as I know. They are also most often well-stocked, and customer service usually does a great job and is helpful. Security in the parking lot does a good job of monitoring to help as well, as far as I can see. read more

This place oh my god. I am from Michigan okay, and that's where Detroit, Flint is. That's a scary place to live sometimes And where I am from you do not walk into Walmart's with gates inside, and SCREENS everywhere watching you and showing you be watched. That doesn't threaten me, because I do not steal. But it just really does show what kind of area this is and it's sad. Also what really ticked me off was that I went to go get eyelash glue, and it was locked up. 6$ eyelash glue., are you kidding me. Never thought I'd be writing a review for Walmart, but it's kind of hard when u now live in MISSISSIPPI, because that's really all you have. They usually have what you need to get the job done, but it's a busy location and the isles can get quite messy. The pharmacy at this location is pretty friendly. However, they're always "backed up" and have long wait times. read more

What is going on with you Walmart? Why is it I had to dig through the shelves in hopes of finding a canned item that isn't crushed, bent or leaking! Stocking seems to be an issue, out of lots of staple items. Then 4 actual check out clerks but lots of self check out. I don't work for you, I dont want to check myself out or wait for an hour, open more lanes with clerks! I lost something while I was there and have yet, after 4 phone calls, to get anyone to answer the phone! Went to buy $2 dollar cosmetics. Waited patiently while they helped someone else. Asked them to get something out of a case. Wouldn't even let me touch it and I asked why and they walked away from me. APPARENTLY THEY DIDNT WANT ME TO BUY NOTHING. they told me because I would steal it that I couldn't touch it. Was planning on buying a whole bunch of stuff on this visit but now I'm taking my business to Target. They profile people. read more

ALWAYS ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK. Can't keep anything stocked. 90 percent of the time their produce is sparse. I had to question after months of this what was the problem, their reply was they are having problems with their warehouse. They have about 8 self checkouts because they can't hire or find more workers and half the time half of those are out of order or just take credit cards. And try not to have a problem with the self checkout because the one worker assigned to these checkouts are playing on their phone at their assigned station. And let's not forget their customer service return area where about 2 or 3 people congregate and discuss their daily lives while one "works" the cash register. I'll start off by saying that I really hate Walmart. Seriously. And everywhere, not just one particular location. Because there aren't other options, I tolerate the place but only with my headphones blaring music so I don't have to hear the "stupid". So, I was really not looking forward to having to return something. I was only in Hattiesburg for my son's football game (don't want to talk about that tho) and since I wouldn't make it home before our Walmart's customer service desk closed, I decided to try this one. I saw the woman working the entrance door and she was very helpful. Her tag printing machine wasn't working so she took me over to customer service and explained to them there what I was bringing back. I had a receipt but was told that I'd have to take it to my local store where I bought it and perhaps they could help me because it was a non returnable item. Whaaaaat. Uh uh. So, I couldn't argue that point. I understand that. But as for non returnable, umm I don't want to wait 3-6 weeks for the manufacturer to send me a check. Especially since it was a consumable item. And I wanted to consume it. That night. Not next month. (Not all of it. I'm not a lush) okay it was beer. And several of the bottles were a clear yellow color in the box instead of a darker brownish yellow. I had opened one. Ugh. Not strawberry flavored. At all. Anyway, the manager asked to see and when she saw what I was saying was true, she told me go get another one and if the system accepts the exchange, she'll do it. If not, nothing she can do. I'm okay with that. So I got the exchange. I think maybe she knew we were gonna get our lil booties handed to us on that football field. I'm still hurt about that but at least the town people of Hattiesburg at Walmart are friendly. The store was clean and organized as well. read more

A lot of people love to bash Walmart... I shop here at least once a week. I realize it's a crowded store with lots of items and PEOPLE, however, I rarely have a bad experience. The shelves are well stocked, with a good selection, the store is clean, and the employees are helpful. I know several employees have worked at this store for 15+ years, and are still working as hard as ever to provide great customer service. read more
